Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the top 100 cited articles in nonspecific neck pain (NSNP) research. A set of search terms was entered into the Web of Science database, and the articles with the highest citation counts in the field of NSNP were chosen. The top 100 articles were examined for total citation count, annual citations count, first author, year of publication, journal, study design, and country of origin. The citation count for the list final articles ranged from 181 to 2067, with an average of 291.9. The journal Spine contributed the most articles (25), followed by pain (16). Between 2001 and 2010, the most prolific years, 66 articles were published. In terms of country of origin, the majority of articles were from Australia (22). Vernon H., published the most cited article in the Journal of Manipulative & Physiological Therapeutics in 1991, reporting the first instrument developed to assess self-reported disability in patients with neck pain. The bibliographic analysis to identify the top 100 most cited articles related to NSNP acknowledges the field historical advances and provides insight into the types of articles that have provided these advances.

Abstract
Purpose The aim of this study is to comprehensively analyze the publications of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) research and display the current research status in this field. Methods Articles regarding ACLR research published before October 7, 2021, were downloaded from the Web of Science Core Collection. Excel 2016 and Bibliometric website were used to analyze the annual article trends and international cooperation network. CiteSpace V and VOSviewer were used to perform co-occurrence and citation analyses for journals, institutions, authors, cocitation authors and keywords. Burst keyword detection was also performed with CiteSpace V. Results A total of 12 223 ACLR articles were identified. The American Journal of Sports Medicine (1636 publications, 92,310 citations), the Pennsylvania Commonwealth System of Higher Education (624 publications, 25,304 citations) and Freddie H. Fu (321 publications, 15,245 citations) were journals, institutions and authors with the most publications and citations, respectively. Patellar tendon was the keyword with the most occurrences (1618 times) and return to sport was the keyword with the most burst strength (burst strength: 46.99). Conclusion ACLR-related publications showed a rapid increasing trend since 1990. A large number of articles have been published by authors from different institutions and countries, some of which have gained great academic influence. Based on keyword analysis, patellar tendon is identified as the research hotspot and return to sport is identified as the current research frontier.

Abstract
We performed bibliometric analysis of the research papers published on clinical cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) in the last 50 years. We extracted bibliometric data from Scopus and PubMed from 1970 to 2020 pertaining to clinical studies of CSM. The predominant journals, top cited articles, authors, and countries were identified using performance analysis. Science mapping was also performed to reveal the emerging trends, and conceptual and social structures of the authors and countries. Bibliometrix R-package was deployed for the study. The total numbers of clinical studies available in PubMed and Scopus were 1,302 and 3,470, respectively. The most cited article was published by Hilibrand AS, as observed in Scopus. Regarding the conceptual structure of the research, two main research themes were identified, one involving symptomatology, scientific-scale-based objective evaluation of symptoms, and surgical removal of the offending culprit, while the other was based on patho-etiology, relevant diagnostic modalities, and the surgery commonly performed for CSM. In terms of emerging trends, in recent times there is an increasing trend of scale-based objective evaluations, along with investigations of advanced nonoperative management. The United States is the most productive country, whereas Canada tops the list for inter-country collaboration. The trend of research showed a shift toward noninvasive procedures.

Abstract
Study Design Bibliometric analysis. Objective Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) is a typical surgical method in spine surgery and has progressed significantly in the last several decades. The purpose of this study is to determine how the 100 most-cited original articles on ACDF have been the most influential in this field by identifying and analyzing them. Methods The articles on ACDF were identified by searching the Thomson ISI Web of Science database on 30 May 2022. The 100 most-cited articles were selected according to specific criteria. The data extracted from the articles included title, publication date, total citations, journal name, first author, institutions, and keywords. Results The total number of citations was 13,181, with a mean number of 131.81 ± 100.18. The publication dates ranged from 1994 to 2018. Most of these articles originated in the United States (68%) and were published in the 2000s (32%) and 2010s (48%). Spine published most of the articles (30%), followed by the Journal of Neurosurgery-Spine (16%), Spine Journal (14%), and European Spine Journal (13%). The most prolific author was Dr. Todd J Albert (n = 7), with 1,312 citations. The Texas Back Institute was the most productive institution (n = 10). The keywords ACDF, cervical spine, cervical spine, and fusion showed the highest degree of centrality. Conclusion One hundred top-cited articles on ACDF were identified and analyzed in this study. We demonstrate that ACDF is a growing and popular area of research, with the focus of research varying through timeline trends. This will provide a comprehensive and detailed basis for spine surgeons to make clinical decisions and assimilate the research focus of cervical spine surgery.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Progress in degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM) is hindered by inconsistent measurement and reporting. This impedes data aggregation and outcome comparison across studies. This limitation can be reversed by developing a core measurement set (CMS) for DCM research. Previously, the AO Spine Research Objectives and Common Data Elements for DCM (AO Spine RECODE-DCM) defined 'what' should be measured in DCM: the next step of this initiative is to determine 'how' to measure these features. This protocol outlines the steps necessary for the development of a CMS for DCM research and audit. METHODS AND ANALYSIS The CMS will be developed in accordance with the guidance developed by the Core Outcome Measures in Effectiveness Trials and the Consensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments. The process involves five phases. In phase 1, the steering committee agreed on the constructs to be measured by sourcing consensus definitions from patients, professionals and the literature. In phases 2 and 3, systematic reviews were conducted to identify tools for each construct and aggregate their evidence. Constructs with and without tools were identified, and scoping reviews were conducted for constructs without tools. Evidence on measurement properties, as well as on timing of assessments, are currently being aggregated. These will be presented in phase 4: a consensus meeting where a multi-disciplinary panel of experts will select the instruments that will form the CMS. Following selection, guidance on the implementation of the CMS will be developed and disseminated (phase 5). A preliminary CMS review scheduled at 4 years from release. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION Ethical approval was obtained from the University of Cambridge (HBREC2019.14). Dissemination strategies will include peer-reviewed scientific publications; conference presentations; podcasts; the identification of AO Spine RECODE-DCM ambassadors; and engagement with relevant journals, funders and the DCM community.
