Effect of high-quality nursing on alleviating depression and anxiety in patients with thyroid cancer during perioperative period: A protocol for systematic review

Efficacy of High-Quality Nursing Service for the Patients during the Anesthesia Recovery Period: A Meta-Analysis

Background

To investigate the efficacy of high-quality nursing service for the patients during the anesthesia recovery period.

Methods

We used the National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Cochrane Library of Excerpta Medica Database (EMBASE), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang, and very important person (VIP) databases for conducting a systematic literature study. We employed the fixed-effects model for evaluating the standardized mean differences (SMDs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). The sensitivity and publication bias were estimated for determining the efficacy of high-quality nursing services during the recovery period of anesthesia.

Results

In our study, the result showed that the efficiency of recovery time of spontaneous respiration was significantly improved in the experimental group (SMD = -1.48, 95%CI = [-1.62, -1.34]). In this analysis, the extubation time of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group. In control group [WMD = -15.54, 95% CI (-21.24, -9.83), P < 0.00001], the improvement of extubation time was more obvious on high-quality nursing. Moreover, the incidence of agitation in the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the score of nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group (P = 0.01). The funnel plots identified no publication bias during the identification of efficacy.

Conclusions

The high-quality nursing care for patients during the resuscitation period can shorten the recovery time of their self-consciousness and self-breathing, reduce the occurrence rate of restlessness, improve patients' anxiety and depression, reduce complications, and play a certain clinical application effect.

Analysis of Lung Imaging Intelligent Diagnosis System for Nursing Intervention of Lung Cancer Patients' Quality of Life

In order to explore the influence of intelligent imaging diagnosis systems on comprehensive nursing intervention for patients with late-stage lung cancer, the system uses ITK and VTK toolkit to realize image reading, display, image marking, and interactive functions. The optimal threshold method and regional connectivity algorithm were used to segment the lung region, and then, the cavity filling algorithm and repair algorithm were used to repair the lung region. A variable ring filter was used to detect suspected shadows in the lungs. Finally, the classifier proposed in this paper is used to classify benign and malignant. The system has good sensitivity by detecting the images of real patients. 100 patients with advanced lung cancer were randomly divided into control group and nursing intervention group 50 cases each. Patients in the control group received routine radiotherapy and chemotherapy and routine nursing intervention. Patients in the nursing intervention group were given comprehensive nursing intervention on the basis of routine intervention in the control group for 2 consecutive months. Pittsburgh sleep quality index, pain degree, quality of life, and complications after intervention were compared between the 2 groups before and after intervention. The experimental results showed that the sleep quality, pain degree, quality of life, and complications in 2 groups were significantly improved after intervention (P < 0.05), and the improvement degree in the nursing intervention group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). It is proved that comprehensive nursing intervention has a good effect on improving sleep quality, relieving physical pain, improving the quality of life, and reducing complications of lung cancer patients and can effectively improve the quality of life of lung cancer patients.

Effect of high quality nursing and respiratory training on pulmonary function and quality of life in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

OBJECTIVE

This research was aimed to evaluate the impact of high-quality nursing (HQN) plus respiratory training on treatment compliance, pulmonary function (PF) and quality of life (QoL) of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

METHODS

We retrospectively analyzed 89 COPD patients who were treated at the affiliated Nanhua Hospital from February 2019 to February 2021. Among them, 40 cases received drug treatment and breathing training as the control group, and 49 cases were supplemented with HQN as the experimental group on the basis of the control group. The changes in PF, quality of life and compliance were compared between the two groups.

RESULTS

Vital capacity (VC) and alveolar ventilation (VA) increased in both cohorts after treatment (P < 0.05), and increased more significantly in experimental group compared with control group (P < 0.05). Experimental group also presented markedly higher total effective rate and noticeably lower scores of symptoms, activities and disease impact on daily life than control group (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONS

HQN plus respiratory training can effectively improve the PF, efficacy and QoL of patients with COPD.
