Abstract
Primary pulmonary osteosarcoma is one of the extraskeletal osteosarcomas originating from the lung with an extremely low incidence and highly invasive potential. Here we report a case of primary pulmonary osteosarcoma treated in our hospital with a literature review. The patient, a 17-year-old male, had a cough and hemoptysis for 20 days. Computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET)/CT were performed in our hospital. According to pathological examination after surgery, the tumor was diagnosed as a high-grade sarcoma with remarkable osteogenesis and necrosis. Based on radiological and histological examinations, a diagnosis of primary pulmonary osteosarcoma originating was considered. The patient underwent surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy. This patient has been under consecutive follow-up for nearly 8 years, showing no signs of recurrence or distant metastasis. Primary pulmonary osteosarcoma is a rare lung malignancy that shows rapid progression, nonspecific symptoms and inapparent signs at an early stage. The diagnosis of primary pulmonary osteosarcoma highly relies on imaging and histological examinations, among which chest CT is the predominant method to check this disease.

Abstract
A 65-year-old man presented with abdominal bloating, pain, and nausea for 5 days. Abdominal CT revealed a heterogeneous mass with a large area of calcification, and rupture of the mass was seen around the capsulafibrosa. According to pathological examination after percutaneous puncture biopsy, the histopahological and immunohistochemical findings were suggestive of metastatic or primary hepatic osteosarcoma. Whole body bone scintigraphy demonstrated elevated 99mTc-MDP activity in hepatic mass, but no skeletal lesions. The diagnosis of primary hepatic osteosarcoma was finally confirmed. PET/CT showed hepatic mass with heterogeneous high-uptake, and multiple metastases in portacaval lymph nodes, lungs and the third thoracic vertebra were considered.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Primary pulmonary osteosarcoma (PPOS) is an uncommon malignancy originating from the lung with low incidence, and its clinical characteristics and prognosis have not been systematically reported. Therefore, we aimed to recognize the prognostic factors and constructed a survival prediction model for PPOS. METHODS We collected the data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database and systematic review of previous studies. Demographical and clinical characteristics, radiographic manifestations, treatment modalities, and prognosis were analyzed. A prediction model via nomogram was constructed and then evaluated by the concordance index (C-index) and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. RESULTS A total of 49 cases were included for analysis with a median age of 67 years old (range 33-94 years), of which 32 (65.3%) were male. The median size was 6 cm (range 1.8-25 cm), and the median overall survival (OS) was eight months (interquartile range 4.5-12 months) with a 1-year OS rate of 30.8%. Tumor size over 7 cm (hazard ratio [HR] = 2.98; P = 0.018) and those without microscopic findings of osteoid found in the tumors (HR = 2.11; P = 0.048) were referred to a poor OS, while surgery was associated with an improved OS (HR = 0.20; P < 0.001). The C-index of the nomogram prediction model was 0.771, and the area under curve, sensitivity and specificity of the ROC curve were 0.818, 0.848 and 0.800, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Patients with PPOS had a poor prognosis, and tumor size was mostly prognostic. Surgery seemed to be an effective treatment, and the prediction model with a nomogram in our study could effectively predict the prognosis of patients with PPOS.

Abstract
Osteosarcoma (OSA) is a type of bone cancer that begins in the cells that form bones.OSA is a rare mesenchymal bone neoplasm derived from mesenchymal stem cells. Genome disorganization, chromosomal modifications, deregulation of tumor suppressor genes, and DNA repair defects are the factors most responsible for OSA development. Despite significant advances in the diagnosing and treatment of OSA, patients' overall survival has not improved within the last twenty years. Lately, advances in modern nanotechnology have spurred development in OSA management and offered several advantages to overcome the drawbacks of conventional therapies. This technology has allowed the practical design of nanoscale devices combined with numerous functional molecules, including tumor-specific ligands, antibodies, anti-cancer drugs, and imaging probes. Thanks to their small sizes, desirable drug encapsulation efficiency, and good bioavailability, functionalized nanomaterials have found wide-spread applications for combating OSA progression. This review invokes the possible utility of engineered nanomaterials in OSA diagnosis and treatment, motivating the researchers to seek new strategies for tackling the challenges associated with it.

Abstract
Background 99mTc-labelled methylene diphosphonate (99mTc-MDP) uptake can occasionally be identified in extraosseous neoplasms on whole-body scans (WBSs) and may be misinterpreted as bone metastasis. The purpose of our study was to investigate the frequency of 99mTc-MDP uptake in extraosseous neoplasms and to assess the additional value of SPECT/CT for the localization and characterization of this unusual uptake. Methods Data from 7308 patients (SPECT/CT was performed in 2147 patients) with known cancer who underwent WBSs for metastatic work-up between May 2015 and July 2018 were retrospectively reviewed. The locations, numbers, and intensities of extraosseous 99mTc-MDP uptake were evaluated by WBS, and the intratumoural calcification was evaluated by SPECT/CT. The diagnostic accuracy of SPECT/CT in locating 99mTc-MDP uptake in extraosseous neoplasms was compared to that of WBS. Results A total of 41 patients showed 99mTc-MDP uptake in extraosseous neoplasms. Of these patients, 23 patients had uncertain lesions by WBS, and further SPECT/CT was performed. The incidence of 99mTc-MDP uptake in extraosseous neoplasms was observed to be 0.6% by WBS and 1.1% (by) SPECT/CT. During imaging analysis, WBS had an accuracy of only 35% (14/40), whereas SPECT/CT correctly located and diagnosed all 40 lesion sites in the 23 patients. Twenty-three lesion sites (57.5%, 23/40) showed moderate or high intensity of extraosseous 99mTc-MDP uptake. Of the 23 patients, 17 patients (73.9%, 18/23) with 31 lesion sites (77.5%, 31/40) presented with intratumoural calcification. Conclusions 99mTc-MDP uptake in extraosseous neoplasms can be observed as 0.6% on WBS and is usually localized to the breast, liver, and lung. Nuclear physicians should be familiar with such extraosseous uptake when interpreting WBSs. SPECT/CT offers better accuracy than WBS alone for locating the majority of lesions present with intratumoural calcification.

Abstract
Extraskeletal osteosarcoma is a rare, high-grade soft tissue malignancy, accounting for approximately 1% of all soft tissue sarcomas. Despite the histologic resemblance to osteogenic osteosarcoma, it is considered as a distinct entity because of the differences in clinical behavior and response to treatment. Hence, imaging plays a vital role in establishing the nonskeletal origin of the tumor, differentiating it from osteogenic osteosarcoma. We present F-FDG PET/CT findings in a case of isolated primary extraskeletal osteosarcoma confirmed on histopathology.

Abstract
The present work has been oriented to prepare radioiodinated olmesartan for a potential cardiac imaging. Olmesartan has been labeled using 125I or 131I with N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) as an oxidizing agent. Many factors like amount of N-bromosuccinimide, amount of substrate, pH, reaction temperature and reaction time, have been systematically studied to optimize high yield of [125I]iodoolmesartan. The biological distribution indicates the suitability of [125I]iodoolmesartan as a novel tracer to image heart.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Extraosseous radioactivity outside of the expected biodistribution is often encountered on (99m)Tc-methylene diphosphate (MDP) bone scintigraphy, and proper interpretation requires an understanding of the mechanisms underlying this uptake and knowledge of the possible causes, depending on the site or structure involved. CONCLUSION We present examples of extraosseous radiotracer uptake seen on (99m)Tc-MDP bone scans in which either SPECT with integrated CT or correlative imaging improved the study's interpretation.

Abstract
An 18F-FDG PET/CT scan was performed in a 26-year-old man with a known alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma for staging. The PET/CT scan showed abnormally increased FDG activity involving almost all bones in the imaged regions. In contrast, 99mTc-MDP whole-body bone scan demonstrated only very limited bone metastases.
