Abstract
It is shown that the classical commensurability phenomena in weakly modulated two-dimensional electron systems is a manifestation of the intrinsic properties of the correlation functions describing a homogeneous electron gas in a magnetic field. The theory demonstrates the importance for consideration of nonlocal response and removes the gap between classical and quantum approaches to magnetotransport in such systems.

Abstract
We provide a theory of the electronic transport properties of a graphene layer functionalized with molecular switches. Our considerations are motivated by the spiropyran-merocyanine system which is non-polar in its ring-closed spiropyran form and zwitterionic in its ring-open merocyanine form. The reversible switching between these two isomers affects the carriers in graphene through the associated change in the molecular dipole moment, turning the graphene layer into a sensor of the molecular switching state. We present results for both the quasiclassical (Boltzmann) and the quantum coherent regimes of transport. Quite generally, we find a linear sensitivity of the conductance on the molecular dipole moment whenever quantum interference effects play an essential role which contrasts with a quadratic (and typically weaker) dependence when quantum interference is absent.

Abstract
We study correlations of atomic density in a weakly interacting Bose-Einstein condensate, expanding diffusively in a random potential. We show that these correlations are long range and that they are strongly enhanced at long times. The density at distant points exhibits negative correlations.

Abstract
We establish a conceptual relation between the fluctuations of the local density of states (LDOS) and the intensity correlations in speckle patterns resulting from the multiple scattering of waves in random media. We show that among the known types of speckle correlations (C1, C2, C3, and C0) only contributes to LDOS fluctuations in the infinite medium. We propose to exploit the equivalence of LDOS fluctuations and the C0 intensity correlation as a "selection rule" for scattering processes contributing to C0.

Abstract
We study the temporal evolution of speckle patterns in transmission of short wave pulses through a disordered waveguide. In the diffuse regime, the short-range spatial structure of speckles is the same as for the continuous-wave (cw) illumination, whereas the long-range correlation between distant speckle spots grows linearly with time and can exceed its cw value. We discuss the physical origin of this phenomenon, compare our results to recent microwave experiments, and suggest that a similar linear growth with time should also be characteristic for other mesoscopic interference phenomena.

Abstract
We study the quantum transport through networks of diffusive wires connected to reservoirs in the Landauer-Büttiker formalism. The elements of the conductance matrix are computed by the diagrammatic method. We recover the combination of classical resistances and obtain the weak localization corrections. For arbitrary networks, we show how the Cooperon must be properly weighted over the different wires. Its nonlocality is clearly analyzed. We predict a new geometrical effect that may change the sign of the weak localization correction in multiterminal geometries.
