Quantum Image Encryption Based on Quantum DNA Codec and Pixel-Level Scrambling

In order to increase the security and robustness of quantum images, this study combined the quantum DNA codec with quantum Hilbert scrambling to offer an enhanced quantum image encryption technique. Initially, to accomplish pixel-level diffusion and create enough key space for the picture, a quantum DNA codec was created to encode and decode the pixel color information of the quantum image using its special biological properties. Second, we used quantum Hilbert scrambling to muddle the image position data in order to double the encryption effect. In order to enhance the encryption effect, the altered picture was then employed as a key matrix in a quantum XOR operation with the original image. The inverse transformation of the encryption procedure may be used to decrypt the picture since all the quantum operations employed in this research are reversible. The two-dimensional optical image encryption technique presented in this study may significantly strengthen the anti-attack of quantum picture, according to experimental simulation and result analysis. The correlation chart demonstrates that the average information entropy of the RGB three channels is more than 7.999, the average NPCR and UACI are respectively 99.61% and 33.42%, and the peak value of the ciphertext picture histogram is uniform. It offers more security and robustness than earlier algorithms and can withstand statistical analysis and differential assaults.

Α Quantum Pattern Recognition Method for Improving Pairwise Sequence Alignment

Quantum pattern recognition techniques have recently raised attention as potential candidates in analyzing vast amount of data. The necessity to obtain faster ways to process data is imperative where data generation is rapid. The ever-growing size of sequence databases caused by the development of high throughput sequencing is unprecedented. Current alignment methods have blossomed overnight but there is still the need for more efficient methods that preserve accuracy in high levels. In this work, a complex method is proposed to treat the alignment problem better than its classical counterparts by means of quantum computation. The basic principal of the standard dot-plot method is combined with a quantum algorithm, giving insight into the effect of quantum pattern recognition on pairwise alignment. The central feature of quantum algorithmic -quantum parallelism- and the diffraction patterns of x-rays are synthesized to provide a clever array indexing structure on the growing sequence databases. A completely different approach is considered in contrast to contemporary conventional aligners and a variety of competitive classical counterparts are classified and organized in order to compare with the quantum setting. The proposed method seems to exhibit high alignment quality and prevail among the others in terms of time and space complexity.

A novel image encryption scheme based on quantum dynamical spinning and rotations

Quantum information processing made a tremendous and remarkable impact on number of classical mechanic’s problems. The impact does not only stop at classical mechanics but also the cyber security paradigm. Quantum information and cryptography are two classes of quantum information processing which use the idea of qubits instead of bits as in classical information security. The idea of fast computations with multiple complexity level is becoming more realistic in the age of quantum information due to quantum parallelism where a single quantum computer does allow to compute hundreds of classical computers with less efforts and more accuracy. The evolution of quantum information processing replaces a number of classical mechanic’s aspects in computational and cyber security sciences. Our aim here is to introduce concepts of applied quantum dynamics in cryptography, which leads to an evolution of quantum cryptography. Quantum cryptography is one of the most astonishing solicitations of quantum information theory. To measure the quantum state of any system is not possible without disturbing that system. The facts of quantum mechanics on traditional cryptosystems lead to a new protocol and achieving maximum remarkable security for systems. The scope of this paper is to design an innovative encryption scheme for digital data based on quantum spinning and rotation operators.

Quantum random access memory

A random access memory (RAM) uses n bits to randomly address N=2(n) distinct memory cells. A quantum random access memory (QRAM) uses n qubits to address any quantum superposition of N memory cells. We present an architecture that exponentially reduces the requirements for a memory call: O(logN) switches need be thrown instead of the N used in conventional (classical or quantum) RAM designs. This yields a more robust QRAM algorithm, as it in general requires entanglement among exponentially less gates, and leads to an exponential decrease in the power needed for addressing. A quantum optical implementation is presented.

Quantum-implementable selective reconstruction of high-resolution images

This paper, written for interdisciplinary audience, presents computational image reconstruction implementable by quantum optics. The input-triggered selection of a high-resolution image among many stored ones, and its reconstruction if the input is occluded or noisy, has been successfully simulated. The original algorithm, based on the Hopfield associative neural net, was transformed in order to enable its quantum-wave implementation based on holography. The main limitations of the classical Hopfield net are much reduced with the simulated new quantum-optical implementation.
