In the title compound, [Zn(CH₃COO)(NCS)(C₁₂H₁₇BrN₂O)], the Zn^II atom is four-coordinated in a distorted tetra­hedral geometry, binding to a phenolate O and an imine N atom of the Schiff base ligand, the O atom of an acetate ligand and one thio­cyanate N atom. In the crystal, mol­ecules are linked via pairs of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers.

{4-Bromo-2-[2-(piperidin-1-ium-1yl)ethyl-iminometh-yl]phenolato}diiodido-zinc(II)

In the title complex, [ZnI(2)(C(14)H(19)BrN(2)O)], the Zn(II) atom is four-coordinated by the imine N and phenolate O atoms of the Schiff base ligand and by two iodide ions in a distorted tetra-hedral coordination. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked through inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the b axis.

{4-Bromo-2-[(2-morpholinoeth-yl)imino-meth-yl]phenolato}iodido(methanol)zinc(II)

The title compound, [Zn(C₁₃H₁₆BrN₂O₂)I(CH₃OH)], is a new mononuclear zinc(II) complex synthesized by the reaction of equimolar quanti­ties of 5-bromo­salicylaldehyde, 2-morpholinoethyl­amine and ZnI₂ in methanol. The Zn atom is four-coordinate in a distorted tetra­hedral geometry, binding to a phenolate O and an imine N atom of the Schiff base ligand, the O atom of a methanol mol­ecule and one I⁻ anion. In the crystal structure, adjacent mol­ecules are linked through inter­molecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming centrosymmetric dimers.

Dichlorido{2-[3-(dimethyl-ammonio)-propyl-imino-meth-yl]phenolato}zinc(II) hemihydrate

The title complex, [ZnCl₂(C₁₂H₁₈N₂O)]·0.5H₂O, is a mononuclear zinc(II) compound derived from the zwitterionic form of the Schiff base 2-[3-(dimethyl­amino)propyl­imino­meth­yl]­phenol. The Zn^II atom is four-coordinated by the imine N and the phenolate O atoms of the Schiff base ligand, and by two chloride ions, in a distorted tetra­hedral coordination geometry. The dimethyl­ammonio group is disordered over two positions with site occupancies of 0.51 (3) and 0.49 (3). In the asymmetric unit, there is also a disordered water mol­ecule with a partial occupancy of 0.5. In the crystal structure, the water mol­ecules are linked to the Schiff base complex mol­ecules through inter­molecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Mol­ecules are further linked through additional inter­molecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the b axis.
