(1Z,2E)-1-(3,4-Diphenyl-2,3-di-hydro-1,3-thia-zol-2-yl-idene)-2-(1-p-tolyl-ethyl-idene)hydrazine

Crystal structure of (E)-1-(3-benzyl-5-phenyl-1,3-thia-zol-2-yl-idene)-2-[(E)-1,2,3,4-tetra-hydro-naphthalen-1-yl-idene]hydrazin-1-ium bromide

In the title mol-ecular salt, C26H24N3S+·Br-, the dihedral angles between the thia-zole ring and its attached phenyl and benzoyl rings are 54.81 (7) and 85.51 (7)°, respectively. In the crystal, ion pairs are linked by C-H⋯Br and N-H⋯Br hydrogen bonds and are connected into helical chains extending along the c-axis direction by weak, electrostatic S⋯Br- inter-actions. A Hirshfeld surface analysis was performed, which showed the dominant role of H⋯H contacts (51.3%).

Crystal structure of 2-[(E)-2-(2-chloro-benzyl-idene)hydrazin-1-yl]-4-phenyl-1,3-thia-zole

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₁₆H₁₂ClN₃S, contains two independent mol­ecules whose conformations differ primarily in the orientations of the phenyl and chloro­benzene rings with respect to the thia­zole ring. In the first mol­ecule, the dihedral angles are 3.0 (1) and 9.2 (1)°, respectively, for the phenyl ring and the chloro­benzene ring, while in the second mol­ecule, the corresponding angles are 18.6 (1) and 23.4 (1)°. In the crystal, the two independent mol­ecules are associated via complementary N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds into a dimer. These dimers are associated through weak C—H⋯Cl and C—H⋯S inter­actions into supra­molecular chains propagating along the a-axis direction.

2-((1E)-1-{2-[(2Z)-3,4-Diphenyl-2,3-di-hydro-1,3-thia-zol-2-yl-idene]hydrazin-1-yl-idene}eth-yl)pyridin-1-ium bromide monohydrate

In the title compound, C₂₂H₁₉N₄S⁺·Br⁻·H₂O, the dihedral angles between the phenyl groups and the mean plane of the thia­zolyl­idene ring are 34.69 (13) and 64.27 (13)°, respectively, while that between the thia­zolyl­idene and pyridinium rings is 14.73 (13)°. In the crystal, zigzag chains of alternating bromide ions and water mol­ecules associate through O—H⋯Br inter­actions run in channels approximately parallel to the b axis. These chains help form parallel chains of cations through N—H⋯O, C—H⋯N and C—H⋯Br hydrogen bonds.

(2E)-4-(4-Bromo-phen-yl)-2-{(2Z)-[1-(4-methyl-phen-yl)ethyl-idene]hydrazinyl-idene}-3-phenyl-2,3-di-hydro-1,3-thia-zole

In the title compound, C24H20BrN3S, the di-hydro-thia-zole ring is approximately planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.008 (2) Å, and is twisted with respect to the 4-bromo-phenyl ring, the phenyl ring and methyl-phenyl ring, making dihedral angles of 47.96 (8), 59.52 (9) and 16.96 (9)°, respectively. In the crystal, weak C-H⋯π inter-actions link inversion-related mol-ecules into supra-molecular dimers.
