Abstract
Introduction The telehealth service increased attention both during and after the Covid-19 outbreak. Nevertheless, there is a dearth of research in developing countries, including Pakistan. Hence, the objective of this study was to examine telehealth service quality dimensions to promote the telehealth behavior intention and sustainable growth of telehealth in Pakistan. Methods This study employed a cross-sectional descriptive design. Data were collected from doctors who were delivering telehealth services through a well-designed questionnaire. To examine the hypothesis of the study, we employed the Smart PLS structural equation modeling program, namely version 0.4. Results The study findings indicate that medical service quality, affordability, information quality, waiting time, and safety have a positive impact on the intention to engage in telehealth behavior. Furthermore, the adoption of telehealth behavior has a significant favorable effect on the actual utilization of telehealth services, which in turn has a highly good impact on sustainable development. Conclusion The study determined that telehealth services effectively decrease the amount of time and money spent on travel, while still offering convenient access to healthcare. Furthermore, telehealth has the potential to revolutionize payment methods, infrastructure, and staffing in the healthcare industry. Implementing a well-structured telehealth service model can yield beneficial results for a nation and its regulatory efforts in the modern age of technology.

Abstract
-Online learning has become vital and fundamental for learning success in higher education institutions to cope with various learning methodologies or crises such as COVID-19. Therefore, this study investigates factors influencing the academic learning performance among diploma and bachelor's degree students who utilize online e-learning systems in Jordan. Using a conceptual model developed from an extensive previous literature review, the study used a quantitative research methodology to collect data via survey questionnaires. Using PLS-SEM, the empirical analysis of 846 questionnaires collected from Jordanian students demonstrates that task-technology fit and students' satisfaction positively influence learning performance and contribute significantly to student academic success using online learning systems. While the quality of system, service, and information are critical determinants of task-technology fit, student interaction, and instructor interaction are critical determinants of student satisfaction. The study highlights the importance of user-friendly interfaces, effective communication channels, collaboration, and positive learning environments. The findings provide practical insights for universities, online learning system designers, administrators, and instructors to enhance student-learning outcomes. Additionally, system providers can use these findings to address essential successful tools and features needed to create effective and efficient online learning environments. This study highlights practical implications that support higher education institutions' efforts to enhance their online e-learning systems quality and improve student-learning outcomes while helping system providers address essential successful tools and features needed.

Abstract
With the rise of the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a severe negative impact on all aspects of life, whether it be a job, business, health, education, etc. As a result, institutions, schools, colleges and universities are being shut down globally to control the spread of Covid-19. Due to this reason, the mode of education has a dramatic shift from on-campus to online learning with virtual teaching using digital technologies. This sudden shift has elevated the stress level among the students because they were not mentally prepared for it, and hence their academic performance has been adversely affected. So, there needs to figure out the underlying process to make online learning more productive. Thus, to obtain this objective, the present study has integrated the modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Task Technology Fit Model (TTF), DeLone and McLean Model of Information Systems Success (DMISM) and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. A sample of 404 students was obtained, where 202 students were from the top ten public sector universities, and 202 were from the top ten private sector universities of Punjab. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to analyze the hypothesized framework using AMOS. The results reveal that institutional factors positively impact students’ performance mediated by user satisfaction and task technology fit. Similarly, institutional factors affect performance through mediation by user satisfaction and actual usage in sequence. Cognitive absorption was used as a moderator between institutional factors and user satisfaction. In the end, theoretical and practical inferences have also been discussed.

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effects of certain motivational factors on driving the continuance usage intention of mobile government-to-employees services (MG2ES). These services have been frequently overlooked by the extant IT adoption literature in determining the predictors that drive the user’s continuance intention to adopt them. To respond to this lack, an integrated model incorporating factors from several IT adoption theories was developed. These factors were divided into two categories, namely, m-service-centric and user-centric ones. Both categories were specified as direct antecedents of the MG2ES continuance intention. A structured questionnaire-based survey was carried out to empirically examine the hypothesised relationships between the model constructs. The target population of this survey was employees of Saudi’s public sector. The analysis of the collected data (i.e. 194 valid responses) was conducted using the structural equation modelling (SEM) approach. The results demonstrated that only two m-service-centric factors (i.e. m-service strength and effort expectancy) and one user-centric factor (i.e. attitude towards the MG2ES usage) are having positive impacts on the continuance intention to use MG2ES. These findings provide valuable insights and clarifications to the key MG2ES stakeholders about the aspects that motivate such intention, including augmenting the MG2ES strength, implementing effective design mechanisms to reduce the MG2ES usage efforts, delivering more compatible services, and acquiring effective tools for improving information sharing.

Abstract
Starting in early 2020, Thailand's education system came to a grinding halt due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, which created a fervor-like effort to move from traditional classrooms to online education. However, the process has experienced significant troubles. Therefore, starting in June 2021, multiple-stage random sampling and simple random sampling were used to select a sample of 270 Thai high school students across nine Thai provinces. Using a network of Thai teachers, students were assisted with their questionnaire input using Google Form. LISREL 9.1 software was used to conduct the subsequent goodness-of-fit (GOF) assessment and the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). A structural equation model (SEM) was used for the 53-item questionnaire, which contained eight latent variables, 18 observed variables, and ten hypotheses. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the SEM's output and ten hypotheses. After that, it was calculated that the model's causal variables had a positive effect on SS, which had an R2 of 54%. The analysis also revealed that when ranked by total effect (TE) values, performance expectancy (PE = 0.43) was most significant, followed by actual use (AU = 0.30), learner interaction (LI = 0.18), and behavioral intention (BI = 0.12). Overall, hypotheses testing established three moderately strong correlations, four weak correlations, and three unsupported hypotheses. The novelty of our study is the growing concern of stakeholders for how online learning affects student satisfaction due to the deadly global COVID-19 pandemic. This study's research contribution is that it is unique in that it was conducted during the pandemic lockdown while students were participating in Thai Ministry of Education (MOE) online courses. This paper contributes to the online education domain by providing research directions and implications for future researchers. In conclusion, the study confirmed that the model adequately explained causal relationships between variables and presented direct and indirect significant impacts on online SS, promoting learners' better academic performance and knowledge acquisition.

Abstract
Superstar Learning System is a popular e-collaborative learning app especially in English reading learning. This study randomly selected 2061 out of around 2500 students in a public university. Through a large-scale questionnaire survey and some semi-structured in-depth interviews, the study collected plentiful data to extending the task-technology fit model in an e-collaborative English learning context. It is concluded that in an e-collaborative English learning context (a) system quality, information quality, service quality, compatibility, actual usage, and user satisfaction exert a significant influence on TTF at the significance level .05 in an e-collaborative English learning context; (b) TTF exerts a significant influence on performance impact at the significance level .05; and (c) significant correlations are revealed between system quality, information quality, service quality, compatibility, actual use, user satisfaction, and TTF at the significance level .05. This study initiates the model extension, which is beneficial to researchers and practitioners.

Abstract
The concept of self-efficacy has been widely studied and shown to contribute to individuals' job satisfaction. For counselors, the concept measures their belief in their ability to conduct counseling sessions. However, it is an understudied area. As Bandura states, self-efficacy and its sources should be investigated and measured within its domain, which in this case is school counseling. This study examined the impact on school counselors' self-efficacy and job satisfaction of the personal and environmental factors: (a) mastery experience, (b) social persuasion, (c) vicarious learning, (d) physiological and affective state, (e) the access to training, and (f) perceived supervisor support of training. The cross-sectional study involved 541 Malaysian secondary school counselors nationwide via a random sampling-distributed questionnaire. Results which were analyzed using PLS-SEM, with importance-performance functionality embedded in it, indicated that mastery experience, access to training, and perceived supervisor support of training explained 45.6% variance in counseling self-efficacy and together with counseling self-efficacy, contributed 13.2% variance in job satisfaction among the school counselors. The importance-performance map analysis revealed supervisor support of training as of greatest importance in shaping counseling self-efficacy. Counseling self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between mastery experience, access to training, supervisor support toward training, and job satisfaction Arising from this finding is a proposed theoretical framework in which efficacy information (i.e., mastery experience), environmental determinants (i.e., access to training and supervisor support of training) and cognitive determinant (i.e., counseling self-efficacy) corresponded together congruently and lead to higher job satisfaction. Suggestions are also made for training providers, content developers, and policymakers to include these factors in professional development training and continuous education, to sustain the wellbeing of school counselors.

Abstract
Purpose
With the increasing popularity of online games like Pokémon Go, a new wave of crowdsourcing communities have emerged, allowing gamers to collaborate, communicate and share useful game-related information. This paper aims to examine the factors that influence gamers' crowdsourcing behaviour.
Design/methodology/approach
A conceptual framework is developed that combines the DeLone & McLean model, self-determination theory, and different levels of engagement behaviour. The online survey collected 371 responses that were analysed using Covariance Based Structural Equation Modelling (CB-SEM).
Findings
The results show that extrinsic and intrinsic motivation positively influenced gamers' crowdsourcing engagement intention. System quality and information quality were also confirmed to be positively associated with gamers' crowdsourcing engagement intention. Furthermore, crowdsourcing engagement intention was found to be positively associated with crowdsourcing content consumption, contribution, and creation.
Practical implications
The findings of this study are useful for the owners of Pokémon Go and other gaming-related crowdsourcing platforms in devising tailored strategies to increase the crowdsourcing engagement of gamers.
Originality/value
This study provides the first empirical evidence of factors motivating online gamers' crowdsourcing intention. This study also presents novel insight into online gamers' crowdsourcing intention by combining diverse theories which offer different perspectives and a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. Contribution to the research on the intention-behaviour gap by modelling three behavioural outcomes (content creation, contribution, and consumption behaviour) of crowdsourcing engagement intention, is another important contribution of this study.

Abstract
The objective of this study is to investigate factors influencing patients' continuance intention to use telemedicine after the COVID-19 pandemic in the medical sector of Kuwait. To reach this purpose, the updated Delone and Maclean (2003) model was utilized to investigate the aforementioned factors. As such, this research applied quantitative research methods with a sample of 290 participants from patients in Dar Al Shifa Hospital, a private hospital in Kuwait which utilizes telemedical services called 'Sehaty online'. The corresponding data was analyzed using SmartPLS. The findings of this study revealed that information quality and system quality have a positive and significant influence on patient's satisfaction, whereas service quality has an insignificant influence on patient's satisfaction. Also, patients' continuance intention to use telemedicine is found to be significantly impacted by their satisfaction. Furthermore, several limitations of the study, related future research, and recommendations have been discussed.

Abstract
The 2019 Pandemic has forced students to take online classes, increasing their stress levels and negatively impacting their academic performance. This issue urges the development of a mechanism to make online learning more effective in this nerve-racking time. Therefore, the present study has integrated the task technology fit (TTF) model and the DeLone and McLean Model of Information Systems Success (DMISM) to address the stated issue. The data were collected from 330 and 326 students of top-ranked public and private universities of Punjab, respectively. The theoretical framework was analyzed with the help of structural equation modeling (SEM) using Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS). The findings indicate that overall quality positively predicts performance through the mediating role of user satisfaction and TTF. The overall quality also positively elevates performance through the mediating role of user satisfaction and actual usage of the system. Moreover, perceived usefulness proved to be a moderator between overall quality and user satisfaction. Finally, the expected practical and theoretical implications have also been discussed.

Abstract
PurposeThis study aims to investigate the relationship between information and communication technologies (ICTs) use and work performance during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Specifically, it aims to understand what the role of task–technology fit is, and what effect this has on feelings of loneliness of individuals and their subsequent work performance. As a large proportion of workers are required to work from home during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, understanding what aspects contribute to higher performance and reduced negative psychological outcomes is of increased practical and research interest.Design/methodology/approachTo explore these questions, a quantitative approach that employed a sample population of 357 individuals who worked from home during the COVID-19 pandemic was used. Using a convenience, purposive and snowball sampling approach the authors collected data through a custom-built online questionnaire, and analyzed the data using structural equation modeling (SEM).FindingsThe results highlight the effect that high task–technology fit has in both directly and indirectly influencing work performance of individuals. The authors find that by designing ICTs based on task–technology fit principles, individuals are less likely to experience feelings of loneliness while working from home and are more prone to perform better in their work-related tasks.Originality/valueThis study offers a new perspective on the role fit of tasks with technology have on influencing psychological states, and indirectly influencing work-related outcomes. The authors, therefore, expand the understanding about why task–technology fit is sought after by explaining part of the psychological mechanisms through which it has an effect on work performance.

Abstract
This study investigates the impact of integrating essential factors on academic performance in university students' context. The proposed model examines the influence of continuance intention, satisfaction, information value, and Internet addiction on academic performance. Additionally, it investigates the mediating role of continuance intention on the relationship of satisfaction and information value on academic performance among university students. A survey questionnaire method was adopted to collect data from university students in Jordan. Data was collected from 476 voluntary participants, and the analysis was conducted using SPSS and AMOS. The analysis results show that continuance intention, satisfaction, information value have a significant positive influence on academic performance. Besides, the results show that satisfaction and information value positively and significantly influence continuance intention. While continuance intention full mediation the relationship between satisfaction and academic performance, it partial mediation the relationship between information value and academic performance. This study is the first to examine the integrating of continuance intention, satisfaction, information value, and Internet addiction on students' academic performance. Furthermore, this study is also distinguished from other studies by investigating the mediating role of continuance intention gap.

PurposeThe paper proposes a conceptual integration between two variables, both considered as capable of affecting public firm performance: technology and intellectual capital.Design/methodology/approachThe analysis is performed by testing a structural equation model (SEM) which allows to measure simultaneously a plurality of variables, highlighting all the possible connections. Data is collected by administering more than 500 paper questionnaires to accountants working within Local Health Firms of Naples and Salerno.FindingsThe study seems to align with the considerations according to which intellectual capital expressed through its three dimensions – relational capital, human capital and organizational capital – exert a positive influence on perceived performance of healthcare firms, ultimately impacting on the Employees' Satisfaction.Research limitations/implicationsThe study acts as a useful guide from a managerial point of view, because it may support firm decision-making. In fact, public sector managers can leverage an instrument capable of activating functional mechanisms to improve firm performance.Originality/valueThe work allows overcoming the literature gap due to the fact that, although there is a wide recognition of the potential of technology and intellectual capital, there are no studies that synergistically integrate both the aspects in the attempt to understand their value in terms of influence on the performance of public firms, on the one hand, and on employees' satisfaction, on the other. In this vein, the work, in an attempt to provide further scientific support to the link between technology and intellectual capital, is a tool capable of highlighting how this link positively impacts on company performance and employee satisfaction.

Abstract
Purpose
Find out how the employees’ performance on the implementation of the hotel reservation information system. Therefore, this paper aims to examine the effect of the task-technology fit (TTF) on the use of information systems, as well as its effect on user performance and satisfaction.
Design/methodology/approach
This research type is explanatory research. In explanatory research, the aim is to provide an explanation related to the causal relationship between variables and hypothesis testing. The unit of analysis adopted in this study is the individual of the front office employees who use the star hotel reservation information system in South Kalimantan Province (the population is 239, and the taken are 150 samples, based on the number of indicators multiplied 5).
Findings
The higher the TTF, the higher the level of using information systems. The higher the use level of information systems, the higher the information systems user performance and vice versa in which the higher the user’s performance, the more increase the use of information systems. On the other hand, this study found that the use of information systems and user performance has no significant effect on user satisfaction.
Originality/value
The novelty in this study is shown in the influence between performance variables on the usage and the usage variables on the users’ performance. This study examines the importance of reciprocal usage and user performance relationships based on previous research studies that examine the relationship and that information technology (IT) usage will affect user performance. In addition, the users’ performance will affect the users’ behavior in using IT.

Abstract
PurposeThis study's purpose is to propose a hybrid model based on expectation-confirmation model (ECM) and technology acceptance model (TAM) to examine whether organizational users' perceived task-technology fit (TTF) in cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) as an antecedent to user beliefs can directly and indirectly affect their continuance intention of cloud ERP and individual performance.Design/methodology/approachSample data for this study were collected from end users of cloud ERP working in companies in Taiwan. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed in the 50 sample companies, and 355 (71.0%) usable questionnaires were analyzed using structural equation modeling in this study.FindingsThis study showed that organizational users' perceived TTF contributed positively to their perceived usefulness, confirmation and perceived ease of use of cloud ERP, which in turn directly and indirectly led to their satisfaction with cloud ERP, continuance intention of cloud ERP and individual performance; that is, this study's findings strongly supported the research model integrating ECM, TAM and TTF model with all hypothesized links being significant.Originality/valueThis study contributes to an understanding of the TTF model in explaining organizational users' cloud ERP continuance intention that is difficult to explain with only their utilitarian perceptions of cloud ERP. Further, it is especially worth mentioning that this study places considerably more emphasis upon organizational users' individual performance greatly driven by their perceived TTF in cloud ERP and continuance intention of cloud ERP. Thus, this study's empirical evidence on incorporating ECM, TAM and TTF model can significantly enhance better understanding of the outcomes for cloud ERP continuance intention and shed light on the possible formulation of a richer post-adoption model.

PurposeThis study's purpose is to propose an integrated model based on expectation-confirmation model (ECM), task-technology fit (TTF) model, and updated DeLone and McLean information system (IS) success model to examine whether quality factors and TTF as antecedents to physician beliefs can affect physicians' continuance intention of the cloud-based hospital information system (HIS) and performance impact.Design/methodology/approachSample data for this study were collected from physicians at five hospitals in Taiwan. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed, and 305 (61.0 percent) usable questionnaires were analyzed using structural equation modeling in this study.FindingsThis study verified that physicians' perceived information quality, system quality, general technical support service quality, and cloud storage service quality all positively caused their PU, confirmation, and perceived TTF in the cloud-based HIS, which together explained their satisfaction with the system, and subsequently led to their continuance intention of the system and performance impact.Originality/valueFirst, IS-related and cloud-related quality factors are simultaneously taken into consideration within this study's research model, and empirical results reveal deep insights into quality evaluation in the field of physicians' cloud-based HIS continuance intention. Next, this study contributes to an understanding of TTF in explaining physicians' cloud-based HIS continuance intention that is difficult to explain with only their utilitarian perception of the system, and places emphasis upon physicians' perception of performance impact greatly driven by their perceived TTF and continuance intention of the system, thus the results can shed light on antecedents and outcome of physicians' cloud-based HIS continuance intention.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to propose a hybrid model based on expectation–confirmation model (ECM), DeLone and McLean IS success model and task-technology fit (TTF) model to examine whether quality factors and TTF as the antecedents to user beliefs can affect organizational users’ continuance intention of cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP).
Design/methodology/approach
Sample data for this study were collected from end-users of cloud ERP working in companies in Taiwan. A total of 370 questionnaires were distributed in the 37 sample companies, and 315 (85.1 per cent) usable questionnaires were analyzed using structural equation modeling in this study.
Findings
This study’s findings indicated that users’ perceptions of system quality, information quality and TTF all contributed significantly to their satisfaction, confirmation and perceived usefulness (PU) of cloud ERP, which in turn directly or indirectly led to their continuance intention of cloud ERP; that is, the results strongly supported the hybrid model integrating ECM, DeLone and McLean IS success model and TTF model with all hypothesized links being significant.
Originality/value
Empirically, this study’s research model capturing ECM, DeLone and McLean IS success model and TTF model has significantly shed light on the possible formulation of a richer post-adoption model. Noteworthily, considerably more attention should be paid to the fit between information-related characteristics and cloud ERP users’ work goals and needs, while TTF, based on both system-related and information-related technology characteristics, significantly contributes to users’ satisfaction, confirmation and PU, which together directly or indirectly explain their intention to continue using cloud ERP.

Abstract
Purpose
Online learning has evolved into a necessary means of learning because of its capability to enhance the education quality with minimum resources and infrastructure. Nevertheless, while academics have studied the espousal and use of online learning in various settings, the effect of compatibility and transformational leadership (TL) still remains to be seen, with regards to the Yemeni context. The purpose of this paper is to forward the Delone and Mclean Information System (IS) success Model by integrating compatibility and TL constructs as precursors to user contentment and actual use for estimating performance of students.
Design/methodology/approach
The questionnaire technique was utilised for gathering primary data from 448 students in nine state-funded Yemeni universities. The six variables in the recommended framework were gauged utilising current scales. Data analysis was done by deploying structural equation modelling through SmartPLS 3.0.
Findings
The outcomes encompassed three key results: overall quality (data, system and service quality), compatibility and TL have a favourable effect on user satisfaction and actual use; actual use considerably estimates user satisfaction; and user satisfaction and actual use have a favourable effect on performance of students.
Research limitations/implications
Because the research populace comprised students from nine state-funded universities, it did not include administrative and academic staff. Furthermore, as the study was cross-sectional, it studied the variables at a single point of time. Attaining experience in utilising online learning would transform the convictions of students, and this cannot be traced through a cross-sectional scrutiny. Moreover, the research relies upon self-testified measures for ascertaining the recommended research model. The reason behind this is that obtaining objective information regarding performance was not likely because of the privacy concern.
Practical implications
Despite the fact that Yemen is a low-income emerging nation with inadequate resources (World Development Indicators, 2017), it can capitalise on online-based learning that provides the advantage of excellent education and that too with limited supplies (Dokhan and Akkoyunlu, 2016; Yang et al., 2016). Additionally, online learning can enhance administration and communication, empower learning anywhere and anytime, and endorse fairness of education.
Originality/value
This study supplements the existing studies on information systems by blending overall quality, compatibility, TL, actual use and client satisfaction for estimating the effect of online learning among students from nine state-funded Yemeni universities. Moreover, the recommended model’s predictive prowess has a higher capability to elucidate and estimate the performance effect as against those acquired from few of the previous studies.

Abstract
The present article aims to disclose the role of task–individual–social software fit (TISF) in knowledge creation in the context of the manufacturing and service industries and research institutes. The methodology used is an empirical study that proposes and examines the proposed research model. The mediation effect of structural social exchange is also explored. Results of the data analysis of 279 valid samples reveal the following findings. First, the effect of TISF is confirmed. Second, structural exchanges do not mediate the role of TISF toward creation performance. Third, TISF is significantly associated with the social software, creation task, and individual cognition variables. Lastly, goal-free and goal-frame creation modes and analytical and intuitive cognition styles significantly influence the fit of features of creation task, individual cognition, and social software. The article provides domain scholars and practitioners with value of the task–individual–social software fit in the context of knowledge creation. Discussion and implications are also presented in this article.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to examine the effect of task and technology characteristics on the compatibility of technology and tasks, as well as examine the reciprocal effect between the task-technology fit and the use of information systems.
Design/methodology/approach
The study took place in 36 star hotels from one-star to four-star hotels in some cities and districts in South Kalimantan Province. There were 24 hotels in Banjarmasin, 7 hotels in Banjarbaru and 1 hotel in each area of Banjar, Tanah Bumbu, Tabalong, Hulu Sungai Utara and Barito Kuala. The hotels chosen were those implemented the information and communication technology as supporting administrative activities to serve hotel customers. The population was the front office staff in the existing hotels as the users of the information technology. The sampling technique used in this research was the questionnaire distribution in accordance with the number of population. Data were collected from the filled questionnaires. From the 239distributed questionnaires, 164 (68.62 per cent) were returned and used as the research data.
Findings
Task characteristics and technology characteristics have a significant and positive effect on task-technology fit, in which the higher the task characteristics and technology characteristics, the higher the task-technology fit. The task-technology fit and the use of information systems are positive and reciprocal. This means that the higher the task-technology fit, the higher the use of information systems.
Originality/value
The originality of this study is reciprocal relationship between the variables of use with the task-technology fit. Some researchers have found the compatibility of technological tasks affecting the use of information systems, namely, Lin and Huang (2008), Norzaidi and Salwani (2009), Larsen et al. (2009), McGill and Klobas (2009), D’Ambra and Wilson (2013), Im (2014) and Chang et al. (2015). On the other hand, in task-technology fit theory, Goodhue and Thompson (1995) state that use affects the task-technology fit.

PurposeWhile many researchers have investigated the adoption and usage of online learning in different settings, one area that has yet to be examined thoroughly, particularly in the context of online learning in Yemen, is the self-efficacy role. The purpose of this paper is to extend the Delone and McLean information system success model by incorporating a self-efficacy construct as an antecedent to user satisfaction and actual usage to predict student performance.Design/methodology/approachQuestionnaire survey method was used to collect primary data from 448 students in nine public universities in Yemen. The six constructs in the proposed model were measured using existing scales. The data analysed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling via AMOS.FindingsThree main results were revealed, namely that overall quality (system, information and service quality) and self-efficacy have a positive impact on user satisfaction and actual usage; that actual usage significantly predicts user satisfaction; and that both user satisfaction and actual usage have a positive impact on student performance.Research limitations/implicationsFirst as the study population were students from nine public universities, it excluded academics and administrative staff. Second, the study depends on self-reported measures to test the proposed research model. This is because getting objective data about the performance was not probable due to the issue of privacy.Practical implicationsThe findings of this study can be a guideline for Yemeni higher education institutions to develop efficient and effective plans to improve the performance of education institutions, and train and develop student ability to use online learning. Additionally, it highlights the areas that university management needs to concentrate on, namely information systems (IS) tools that will contribute to higher student enrolment, address the lack of infrastructure and improve the quality of education outcomes, things which represent Yemen’s main challenges in the higher education sector.Originality/valueThis paper adds to the existing literature of IS by combining overall quality, self-efficacy, actual usage and user satisfaction to predict performance impact of online learning among students in nine public universities in Yemen. Furthermore, the predictive power of the proposed model has a higher ability to explain and predict performance impact compared to those obtained from some of the previous studies.

Abstract
While there are a wide range of business opportunities available via mobile technologies, mobile banking services have not been widely accepted by bank clients in Yemen. This article aims to test the mediation effect of TAM core constructs between the external factor self-efficacy and the intention. Questionnaire survey data collected from Four hundred and eighty-two valid responses from bank clients. SEM via AMOS was utilized to determine the importance levels of associations and interactions between the factors tested. The proposed model evidenced by goodness of fit of the model to the data, explained 81% of the variance in intention. The findings of the multivariate analysis reveal that self-efficacy has had a significantly positive affect on the perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use. In addition, ease of use and usefulness has a positive important direct influence on the intention. Also, usefulness and ease of use mediated the relation between self-efficacy and intention. The results of the current article might give further insights into mobile banking strategies.
