The application of graphic language in animation visual guidance system under intelligent environment

With the continuous development of society, the role of the visual guidance system in animation design has also evolved and evolved in its long history, leading to the changes in the values of modern beauty. In the field of modern social and cultural design, the visual guidance system in animation design has unique regional nature and cultural influence. The visual language should correspond to the visual environment and easy to understand and be known by people. It combines animation conception and design technology to capture the cultural charm and beauty, values, and behavioral norms of people in different fields. This article studies and analyzes the visual orientation of graphic language in the design of animation visual guidance system, and injects the graphic language with orientation into its animation design, so that the animation design is more in line with the characteristics of the times. It can be more adapted to the emerging media and better convey the information transfer between the enterprise and the audience. To further understand the audience’s tendency toward elements of graphic expression, this article analyzes the subjective perceptions of the respondents on the importance of color selection, calligraphy fonts, graphic expression, and modeling meaning. The results of the study showed that the respondents aged 21–35 paid more attention to the choice of graphic colors, and the highest number was 69.

TuSeSy: An Intelligent Turntable Servo System for Tracking Aircraft and Parachutes Automatically

Tracking aircraft and parachutes plays a vital role in airdrop experiments. It is necessary to study a parachute’s open state and flight trajectory. More scholars are looking into how to efficiently and accurately obtain parachute deformation data and trajectory data. At present, the actual data collection primarily involves experimenters holding high-definition high-speed cameras to track and shoot parachutes to obtain the image sequences of the parachutes during the airdrop process. However, these methods cannot obtain the trajectories of the parachutes and they are susceptible to interference from human factors. In this paper, we designed TuSeSy, an intelligent turntable servo system that can track the aircraft and parachutes in airdrop tests automatically. Specifically, TuSeSy generates the control commands according to the differences between the actual taken images and the inferred images by tracking algorithms (so as to actually track the target). In addition, we propose an effective multi-target tracking switch algorithm based on the image frame difference and optical flow, to achieve real-time switching from the aircraft to the parachute in an airdrop test. To evaluate the performance of TuSeSy, we conducted extensive experiments; the experimental results show that TuSeSy not only solves the problem of wrong target tracking, but it also reduces computational overhead. Moreover, the multi-target tracking switch algorithm has higher computing efficiency and reliability compared to other tracking switch approaches, ensuring the practical applications of the turntable servo system.

Eye-dominance-guided Foveated Rendering

Optimizing rendering performance is critical for a wide variety of virtual reality (VR) applications. Foveated rendering is emerging as an indispensable technique for reconciling interactive frame rates with ever-higher head-mounted display resolutions. Here, we present a simple yet effective technique for further reducing the cost of foveated rendering by leveraging ocular dominance - the tendency of the human visual system to prefer scene perception from one eye over the other. Our new approach, eye-dominance-guided foveated rendering (EFR), renders the scene at a lower foveation level (with higher detail) for the dominant eye than the non-dominant eye. Compared with traditional foveated rendering, EFR can be expected to provide superior rendering performance while preserving the same level of perceived visual quality.
