Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) Lyell's syndrome

Toxic epidermal necrolysis, a unique rapidly developing mucocutaneous reaction pattern, characterized by sheets of erythema, necrosis and bullous detachment of the epidermis, closely resembling that of scalding of the skin and rapidly fatal, was described by Lyell, and is now recognized as toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) Lyell's syndrome.
