Abstract
Pulmonary epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (PEH) is a rare tumour of vascular origin with low to intermediate malignancy. Typical radiological finding on CT is multiple small nodules in bilateral lungs, and some will have punctate calcifications and pleural thickening. The diagnosis of PEH is confirmed by histopathological findings and positive immunohistochemistry staining. We report a case of a woman in her 50s with a medical history of lung adenocarcinoma. Later, regular chest CT during a routine cancer follow-up revealed multiple small pulmonary nodules and increased sizes of these nodules on serial images, initially misdiagnosed as multiple lung metastases. The histopathological diagnosis was made on a pulmonary wedge resection. Finally, PEH was diagnosed on the basis of positive immunohistochemical staining for CD31, ERF and TFE3. In the current study, the clinicopathological features and review of the literature were investigated. Our case highlights the importance of a histological diagnosis to avoid misdiagnosis.

Abstract
Pulmonary epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (PEH) is a rare vascular tumor with no established treatment protocol. The authors report the case of a young woman diagnosed with PEH. DNA and RNA analysis by next-generation sequencing was performed on the tumor tissue. A novel germline PALB2 mutation and classical WWTR1-CAMTA1 fusion were identified. She experienced a poor response to sintilimab (a PD-1 inhibitor) plus platinum-based chemotherapy as the first-line treatment. PEH patients harboring a germline PALB2 mutation and WWTR1-CAMTA1 gene fusion may respond poorly to treatment with PD-1 inhibitors plus chemotherapy.

Abstract
Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is an extremely rare vascular sarcoma with a very heterogeneous presentation and prognosis. We here present five cases of EHE emphasizing diversity in presentation, treatment, and prognosis. Furthermore, we present a review of the literature on EHE treatment options.

Abstract
RATIONALE Primary renal epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EH) is a rare vascular tumor with intermediate biologic behavior and metastatic potential, and it is extremely rare and has only 4 cases in the current literatures. PATIENT CONCERNS We reported a 30-year-old woman who had a 3-month history of gross hematuria and aggravated for half a month. The imaging examination showed a cystic lesion in the mid pole of the left kidney pelvicaliceal. DIAGNOSES The diagnosis was confirmed according to the specific anatomical location and pathological examination which was proved as EH. INTERVENTIONS The patient underwent ureteroscopy and partial left nephrectomy. OUTCOMES Her postoperative condition was good without complications. No clinical evidence of local recurrence or metastatic disease was found during 6 months of follow-up clinical and ultrasound examinations. In addition, laboratory tests, including a urine examination, were normal. LESSONS Renal EH is a rare low-grade malignant tumor with characteristic histological structure. Locally excision has been considered as the optimal treatment and regular follow-up is necessary. Our present study reviewed the clinical and biological information of previous cases which were diagnosed as renal EH and we supplemented more data for further study.

Multifocal epithelioid hemangioendothelioma of the lower limbs detected by 18F-FDG PET/MRI. Clin Nucl Med 2015; 39:e402-4. Abstract
A 38-year-old man underwent surgical excision of a 1.5-cm subcutaneous nodule of the left leg. Histologic evaluation demonstrated the presence of an epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE). The patient underwent 18F-FDG PET/MRI for staging. This examination demonstrated the presence of several soft tissue and bone lesions in the left lower limb without evidence of distant metastatic disease. The final diagnosis was multifocal EHE of the left lower limb. In this case, 18F-FDG PET/MRI has been very useful in the correct staging of this rare presentation of EHE of the lower limbs.

Abstract
Pulmonary epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (PEH) is a rare neoplasm, largely unresponsive to chemotherapeutic medications, and with varied prognosis. Imaging on computerized tomography may demonstrate perivascular nodules, but diagnosis is ultimately made on biopsy with immunohistochemical analysis. Here we describe a case of PEH in a 14-year-old male with Crohn's disease, which, to our knowledge, has not previously been described in the literature.

Abstract
Malignant epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (MEH), also known as high-risk epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, is a low- to intermediate-grade vascular malignancy originally described as a vascular neoplasm of endothelial origin. This very rare vascular neoplasm has been described mainly in soft tissue, but also in various organs and locations, including the liver, lung, brain, colon, lymph nodes, peritoneum, spleen, bone, skin, heart, soft tissues, and vascular system. Several cases have been described in the head and neck, including the submandibular gland, parotid gland, nasal cavity, parapharyngeal space, maxilla, maxillary sinus, occipital bone, oral cavity, thyroid gland, neck, scalp, larynx, and mandible. This case report is the first description of MEH presenting as an exophytic lower-lip lesion.

Abstract
Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma is a rare vascular tumor with intermediate biologic behavior and metastatic potential. Primary renal epithelioid hemangioendothelioma is extremely rare and we present the second report of this rare tumor in an interesting clinical scenario. A 59-year-old male with established history of widely metastatic high grade esophageal adenocarcinoma was found to have an isolated renal nodule on a followup computed tomography (CT) scan. Surgical excision, with the suspicion of metastatic carcinoma, and subsequent pathologic examination revealed an epithelioid hemangioendothelioma. The various differential diagnoses and use of morphological clues and immunohistochemistry are discussed.
