Abstract
The global demographic landscape is experiencing a monumental shift as populations age, driven by advances in healthcare and declining birth rates. This transition underscores the need to prepare the younger generation to navigate and contribute effectively to an aging society. This manuscript comprehensively reviews strategies to equip younger generations with the requisite knowledge, skills, and empathy to support an aging population. This study identifies critical challenges and opportunities in fostering intergenerational solidarity and understanding through an extensive analysis of existing literature and innovative educational programs. The review highlights the importance of early education, community engagement, and policy interventions in bridging the generational divide. Additionally, it explores the role of technology and digital media in facilitating awareness and empathy among young people. Key findings suggest that incorporating aging-related content into educational curricula, promoting volunteerism, and implementing supportive policies can significantly enhance the younger generation's readiness to support an aging society. The manuscript concludes with recommendations for future research and practical steps for educators, policymakers, and community leaders to foster a more inclusive and age-friendly environment. By preparing the younger generation today, we can build a more cohesive and supportive society for tomorrow.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In Indonesia, the adoption of telepharmacy was propelled by the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting the need for a user-friendly application to support both the general population and pharmacists in accessing healthcare services. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate usability and user feedback of a pioneering telepharmacy application known as Tanya Obat (translating to "Ask about Medications") in Indonesia, from the perspectives of the general population and pharmacists. METHODS A mixed-methods sequential study was conducted with the early-stage Tanya Obat application in Bandung City. Participants, including the general population and pharmacists, were instructed to use the application for a week. Questionnaires for the general population and pharmacists were distributed from March to May and February to June 2023, respectively. The System Usability Scale questionnaire was adopted to describe usability of the developed application. Further exploration of the quantitative results required collecting open-ended feedback to assess the impressions of the participants, difficulties encountered, and desired features for enhanced user-friendliness. The collected statements were summarized and clustered using thematic analysis. Subsequently, the association between the characteristics of participants and perceived usability was determined with the Chi-square test. RESULT A total of 176 participants, comprising 100 individuals from the general population and 76 pharmacists, engaged in this study. In terms of usability, the questionnaire showed that Tanya Obat application was on the borderline of acceptability, with mean scores of 63.4 and 64.1 from the general population and pharmacists, respectively. Additionally, open-ended feedback targeted at achieving a more compelling user experience was categorized into two themes, including concerns regarding the functionality of certain features and recommendations for improved visual aesthetics and bug fixes. No significant associations were observed between the characteristics of participants and perceived usability (p-value > 0.05). CONCLUSION The results showed that the perceived usability of Tanya Obat developed for telepharmacy was below average. Therefore, feature optimizations should be performed to facilitate usability of this application in Indonesia.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Smartphone-based digital technology is increasingly being recognized as a cost-effective, scalable, and noninvasive method of collecting longitudinal cognitive and behavioral data. Accordingly, a state-of-the-art 3-year longitudinal project focused on collecting multimodal digital data for early detection of cognitive impairment was developed. METHODS AND RESULTS A smartphone application collected 2 modalities of cognitive data, digital voice and screen-based behaviors, from the FHS (Framingham Heart Study) multigenerational Generation 2 (Gen 2) and Generation 3 (Gen 3) cohorts. To understand the feasibility of conducting a smartphone-based study, participants completed a series of questions about their smartphone and app use, as well as sensory and environmental factors that they encountered while completing the tasks on the app. Baseline data collected to date were from 537 participants (mean age=66.6 years, SD=7.0; 58.47% female). Across the younger participants from the Gen 3 cohort (n=455; mean age=60.8 years, SD=8.2; 59.12% female) and older participants from the Gen 2 cohort (n=82; mean age=74.2 years, SD=5.8; 54.88% female), an average of 76% participants agreed or strongly agreed that they felt confident about using the app, 77% on average agreed or strongly agreed that they were able to use the app on their own, and 81% on average rated the app as easy to use. CONCLUSIONS Based on participant ratings, the study findings are promising. At baseline, the majority of participants are able to complete the app-related tasks, follow the instructions, and encounter minimal barriers to completing the tasks independently. These data provide evidence that designing and collecting smartphone application data in an unsupervised, remote, and naturalistic setting in a large, community-based population is feasible.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Gradually, society has shifted more services online, with COVID-19 highlighting digital inequalities in access to services such as healthcare. Older adults can experience such digital inequalities, yet this group is also more likely to need medical appointments, compared to younger people. With the growing digitalisation of healthcare, it is increasingly important to understand how older people can best use communicative e-health services to interact with healthcare services. This is especially if older adults are to access, and actively interact with health professionals/clinicians due to their general health decline. This review aims to synthesise older adults' experiences and perceptions of communicative e-health services and, in turn, identify barriers and facilitators to using communicative e-health services. METHODS A meta-ethnography was conducted to qualitatively synthesise literature on older adults' experiences of using communicative e-health services. A systematic search, with terms relating to 'older adults', 'e-health', 'technology', and 'communication', was conducted on six international databases between January 2014 and May 2022. The search yielded a total of 10 empirical studies for synthesis. RESULTS The synthesis resulted in 10 themes that may impact older adults' perceptions and/or experiences of using communicative e-health services. These were: 1) health barriers, 2) support networks, 3) application interface/design, 4) digital literacy, 5) lack of awareness, 6) online security, 7) access to digital devices and the internet, 8) relationship with healthcare provider(s), 9) in-person preference and 10) convenience. These themes interlink with each other. CONCLUSION The findings suggest older adults' experiences and perceptions of communicative e-health services are generally negative, with many reporting various barriers to engaging with online services. However, many of these negative experiences are related to limited support networks and low digital literacy, along with complicated application interfaces. This supports previous literature identifying barriers and facilitators in which older adults experience general technology adoption and suggests a greater emphasis is needed on providing support networks to increase the adoption and usage of communicative e-health services.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Telehealth services are time- and cost-saving solutions for disease management for older adults. Minority older individuals with multiple risk factors have an increasing demand for telehealth services. There are insufficient data on patient safety in telehealth services. This study aimed to enhance the quality of telehealth services by reducing errors and creating a safe user environment for low-income older adults. Failure mode and effects analysis tool (FMEA) was adopted to manage potential risks for sustainable digital transformation. METHOD An eight-member multidisciplinary team conducted telehealth FMEA to determine risk priority numbers (RPNs). The process included identifying the potential cause and effect failure mode of each step; measuring severity, probability, and detectability scores for RPNs; and generating strategies to decrease potential failures. RESULTS This study identified 24 risk factors and 34 causes in four major phases with a mean RPN of 90.7: preparation to measure biosignals, measurement of biosignals following instructions from a personal device, confirmation of measurement results, and intervention based on disease or condition type. Risk prioritization revealed four high failure modes and a total RPN of 362.7. Based on fundamental causes, risks were categorized as oblivescence, economic issues, and technology literacy. CONCLUSIONS To correct these failure modes, stabilization of the platform, adding to the providers' manpower, and support for government policies are recommended. FMEA identifies and evaluates the potential risks of telehealth services. The selected priorities reduce the clinical risks of low-income elders who use telehealth services by weighting clinical actions.
