Abstract
Local supersymmetry (SUSY) provides an attractive framework for the incorporation of gravity and unification of gauge interactions within Grand Unified Theories (GUTs). Its breakdown can lead to a variety of models with softly broken SUSY at low energies. In this review article, we focus on the SUSY extension of the Standard Model (SM) with an extra U ( 1 ) N gauge symmetry originating from a string-inspired E 6 GUTs. Only in this U ( 1 ) extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) can the right-handed neutrinos be superheavy, providing a mechanism for the baryon asymmetry generation. The particle content of this exceptional supersymmetric standard model (E 6 SSM) includes three 27 representations of the E 6 group, to ensure anomaly cancellation. In addition it also contains a pair of S U ( 2 ) W doublets as required for the unification of gauge couplings. Thus, E 6 SSM involves exotic matter beyond the MSSM. We consider symmetries that permit suppressing flavor changing processes and rapid proton decay, as well as gauge coupling unification, the gauge symmetry breaking and the spectrum of Higgs bosons in this model. The possible Large Hadron Collider (LHC) signatures caused by the presence of exotic states are also discussed.

Abstract
We consider the production of a pseudo-scalar particle A at the LHC, and present accurate theoretical predictions for its inclusive cross section in gluon fusion. The prediction is based on combining fixed-order perturbation theory and all-order threshold resummation. At fixed order we include the exact next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) plus an approximate next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N[Formula: see text]LO[Formula: see text]) which is based on the recent computation at this order for the scalar case. We then add threshold resummation at next-to-next-to-next-to leading logarithmic accuracy (N[Formula: see text]LL[Formula: see text]). Various forms of threshold resummation are considered, differing by the treatment of subleading terms, allowing a robust estimate of the theoretical uncertainties due to missing higher orders. With particular attention to pseudo-scalar masses of 200 and 750 GeV, we also observe that perturbative convergence is much improved when resummation is included. Additionally, results obtained with threshold resummation in direct QCD are compared with analogous results as computed in soft-collinear effective theory, which turn out to be in good agreement. We provide precise predictions for pseudo-scalar inclusive cross section at 13 TeV LHC for a wide range of masses. The results are available through updated versions of the public codes ggHiggs and TROLL.

Abstract
Higgs boson mass sum rules of supersymmetric models offer attractive targets for precision tests at future muon colliders. These sum rules involve the gauge boson masses as well as the masses of the Higgs boson states which can be precisely measured in the s-channel production process at a muon collider. These measurements can sensitively probe radiative corrections to the Higgs boson masses as well as test for CP violation and nonminimality of the Higgs sector.
