Abstract
Primary lymphoma of the uterine cervix (LUCX) is extremely rare, and its diagnosis is challenging. However, its clinicopathological features have not been well characterized. Thirteen primary LUCX patients were retrospectively studied, and 54 patients from the literature were reviewed. Primary LUCX was identified in 0.22% (13/6000) of patients with uterine cervical malignancies in our institution. The patients' median age was 51 years (range: 22-85 years). All patients had a bulk of neoplasms in the uterine cervix. The median tumour diameter was 6 cm (range: 1.5-10 cm). Approximately 78.0% (39/50) of the patients initially presented with irregular vaginal bleeding or discharge. Moreover, 86.7% (39/45) had Ann Arbor stage I or II. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified, was the most common type, accounting for 85.0% (57/67) of primary LUCX cases. Follicular lymphoma (7.5%, 5/67), extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (4.5%, 3/67), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), blastoid variant (1.5%, 1/67), and peripheral T-cell lymphoma (1.5%, 1/67) were occasionally observed. Three patients (7.1%, 3/42) with DLBCL, NOS died from the disease during the follow-up period. Their 5-year overall survival (OS) rate was 93.5%. The patient with MCL, blastoid variant in our present cohort died of the disease 33 months after diagnosis. Primary LUCX is an extremely rare condition. The clinical symptoms are non-specific. DLBCL, NOS is the most common histologic type, showing a favourable outcome with accurate diagnosis and timely and optimal treatment.

The adjunctive value of diffusion weighted imaging in diagnosis and follow up of uterovaginal diffuse B-cell lymphoma: A case report and literature review. Curr Med Imaging 2021; 17:1159-1166. Abstract
BACKGROUND Lymphoma of the female gynecologic tract is extremely rare. Typically, lymphoma is managed non surgically unlike other non-lymphomatous malignant tumors raising the importance to differentiate between both entities. CASE REPORT We describe the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features of a case of uterovaginal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in a 50-year-old postmenopausal woman emphasizing Diffusion-Weighted Imaging (DWI) as a diagnostic and follow up tool. We reviewed the literature regarding the diagnostic methods for female genital lymphoma. Forty-five cases including our patient were reviewed with age range from 22 to 85 years. Vaginal bleeding was the most common presentation. The diagnosis was established by Papanicolaou smear, cervical biopsy (25/45), endometrial biopsy (6/45), vaginal biopsy (2/45), pelvic mass biopsy (2/45), iliac LN biopsy (1/45) and surgical diagnosis (8/45). Diffuse large B-cell lymphomas (DLBCL) constitute the vast majority of the cases (82%). The uterine cervix was involved at diagnosis in the majority of these cases (68%) while uterine body (42%) and vagina (28%) were less involved. Pelvic lymphadenopathy was found in 15 cases while extra genital lymphomatous infiltration in 13 cases. Sonographic findings were nonspecific while CT provided excellent data about extra-genital involvement. Thirteen cases underwent pelvic MRI that displayed superior detection of disease extension and parametric involvement. Diffusion restriction was reported only in one case without quantitative analysis of ADC map. CONCLUSION MRI shows unique features that help to differentiate uterovaginal lymphoma from the much more common carcinomas and discriminate post-operative changes from tumor recurrence. It exhibits a marked restricted diffusion pattern with lower ADC values than carcinomas and post-operative changes.

Abstract
Primary lymphoma of the uterine cervix is a very infrequent disease, usually affecting perimenopausal women. Symptoms are very similar to other gynecological malignancies, but treatment and prognosis completely differ, as most of these patients have a better survival. This condition has to be suspected in women with recent normal Pap smear test, rapidly growing tumor and initially non-contributory biopsies. We report a case of primary diffuse large-B-cell lymphoma of the uterine cervix mimicking a locally advanced cervical cancer with right ureter hydronephrosis at diagnosis. She was medically managed with a combination of rituximab and chemotherapy with cyclophosphamide, hydroxydaunorubicin, oncovin, and prednisone, associated to methotrexate for central nervous system prophylaxis. We will discuss about the role of combined treatments with surgery and radiotherapy, and the fertility sparing management in young women.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Primary lymphomas involving the female genital tract are rare, and those arising from cervix are extremely uncommon. They are often misdiagnosed because of their rarity. METHODS AND CASES The treatment and clinical outcomes of the four cases treated at our institution were compared with the previously published studies. Written informed consent was taken. We highlight four cases of primary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of cervix treated at our institution with immunochemotherapy and radiotherapy. The mean age was 50 years (range, 39-62 years). Three patients had stage I disease while one had stage II disease. All the patients were in complete remission following treatment with immunochemotherapy and radiation therapy. The average disease free survival was 20 months (range, 8-43 months). None of the patients had any local or systemic relapse. CONCLUSION These cases highlight the physicians to be aware of this entity as their management, natural history and prognosis is completely different from squamous carcinomas of the cervix. Surgery should not be attempted in these patients. Immunochemotherapy and radiotherapy results in favorable clinical outcomes.

Abstract
The present case report investigated the clinical characteristics of primary hematological malignancy of the uterine cervixin five patients. Among the five patients, three patients were diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) and two patients with myeloid sarcoma (MS) of the uterine cervix. Biopsies of the uterine cervices demonstrated the involvement of lymphoid cells or myeloid blasts cells. Immunohistochemical staining demonstrated the expression of B-lymphoid and myeloid lineage markers. The associated lysozyme, myeloperoxidase and mast/stem cell growth factor receptor (CD117) markers were specific for the diagnosis of MS. The three patients with NHL survived, and one of the patients survived for 82 months with no evidence of disease; however, was eventually lost to follow-up. The two patients with MS succumbed to the cancer as a result of progressive disease and leukemia. Therefore, pathological examination may be important for the timely diagnosis and appropriate therapeutic regimen for primary hematological malignancy of the uterine cervix.

Abstract
Lymphoma of the uterine cervix is very rare. We report a case of diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) involving the uterine cervix treated at a newly commissioned semiurban cancer centre in north India in 2015. Data for this study was obtained from the hospital electronic medical records and the patient's case file. We also reviewed published case reports of uterine and cervical lymphoma involving forty-one patients. We treated a case of stage IV DLBCL cervix with six cycles of R-CHOP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone) and intrathecal methotrexate followed by consolidation with radiotherapy. The patient showed complete response to chemotherapy. We conclude that, in advanced stage lymphoma involving uterus and cervix, combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy is effective in short term.

Abstract
The role of gynecological examination in diagnosis genital cancer is important as in this case (a woman with stony cervix and frozen pelvis). When we have frozen pelvis and fix stony cervix, taking multiple deep biopsies in spite of previous negative pathologic reports, is necessary. Reviewing the slides by qualified pathologists can help us to achieve true diagnosis when we the physical exam does not match with histopatologic results. Lymphoma should be always in our mind to remind the pathologists.
Introduction Clinical symptoms of female genital tract lymphoma are often non-specific, and mimic other more common gynecological malignancies. Diagnosis can only be confirmed by histology. Case presentation We report the case of a 48-year-old multiparous woman who underwent subtotal hysterectomy because of enlarged myomatous uterus and persistent heavy vaginal bleeding. “2 months later”, postoperative pelvic and abdominal CT scan performed because of flank pain, revealed bilateral hydronephrosis. Pelvic and colposcopic exam and cervical biopsy under anesthesia showed benign histology, as reported by two pathologists. Referral to a third pathologist and immunohistochemical (IHC) exam revealed malignant lymphoproliferative disorder. Conclusion Despite multiple negative pathology reports of the cervical biopsies, bimanual pelvic exam with deep biopsies by a gynecologist, allowed accurate final diagnosis of this unusual case.

Abstract
Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the cervix is an extremely uncommon entity, with no standard established treatment protocol. A 43-year-old asymptomatic female with a history of dual hit blastic B-cell lymphoma/leukemia in complete remission presented with an incidental cervical mass, which was initially felt to represent a cervical fibroid on computed tomography (CT). It was further evaluated with ultrasound, biopsy, and positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT), which demonstrated a growing biopsy-proven lymphomatous mass and new humeral head lesion. The patient was started on chemotherapy to control the newly diagnosed humeral head lesion, which then regressed. She then underwent radiation to the cervix with significant improvement in the cervical lymphoma. A review of cross-sectional imaging findings of lymphoma of the cervix is provided, including how to differentiate it from other more common diseases of the cervix. Clinical awareness of rare cervical masses such as lymphoma is very important in order to achieve timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Abstract
Primary lymphoma of the uterine corpus and cervix is rare. We present a case of primary non-Hodgkin follicular lymphoma isolated to uterine corpus and parametria with focal spread to ovaries and fallopian tubes, incidentally found on the background of endometrial malignancy. A summary of the published cases focusing on the presentation and prognosis as well as a review of current management are discussed. The rising incidence of extra-nodal lymphoma and recent changes in classification and therapeutic approach, require clinical vigilance. In the absence of prospective studies assessing the value of the available therapeutic options, data from retrospective series and scattered case reports are presented in this review.
