Abstract
Objective Lipid metabolism plays an important role in cancer. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between lipid metabolism and the development of cervical cancer, and to explore the prognostic significance of lipid metabolism-related genes in patients with cervical cancer. Methods Initially, we retrospectively collected data from 1589 cervical cancer patients treated at the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, with 1589 healthy individuals from the physical examination center serving as the control group. The correlation between their serum lipid levels and cervical cancer was analyzed. Subsequently, leveraging public databases, we conducted comprehensive studies on lipid metabolism-related genes. Additionally, we analyzed RNA expression profiling and clinical information sourced from TCGA and GTEx databases. Finally, we established a prognostic model integrating 9 genes associated with lipid metabolism and generated a nomogram model using R. GO and KEGG were performed to explore the functions and pathways of lipid metabolism-related genes. Results Our findings revealed that patients with cervical cancer exhibited dyslipidemia, characterized by elevated levels of TC, TG, and LDL-C, alongside reduced HDL-C levels compared to controls (P<0.05). Interestingly, compared with early-stage patients, advanced patients had lower HDL-C level and higher LDL-C level. Regression analysis further highlighted high TC, TG, and LDL-C as significant risk factors for cervical cancer. Then a total of 188 lipid metabolism-related genes were identified and a prognostic signature based on 9 genes was established and validated. The results of the GO and KEGG functional analysis indicated that the lipid metabolism-related genes are primarily concentrated on pathways associated with fatty acid metabolism. Conclusion Our study underscores the varying degrees of dyslipidemia observed in patients with cervical cancer, emphasizing the relevance of serum lipids in disease development. Our prognostic riskScore model predicted the overall survival time of patients based on 9 genes associated with lipid metabolism. These 9 genes may be tumor biomarkers and new targets for the treatment of cervical cancer.

Abstract
Menopause, through attributable estrogen level decline and the corresponding increase in circulating androgens, significantly elevates a woman's risk for cardiometabolic diseases, including metabolic syndrome (MetS), type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Metabolic syndrome itself is a cluster of interconnected risk factors, and among them, central obesity is a well-established factor for the development of endometrial cancer (EC), the most common gynecologic malignancy. This research investigates the impact of metabolic syndrome on survival rates among patients with endometrial cancer. The goal is to assess whether having metabolic syndrome or its individual components influences disease-free survival (DFS), overall survival (OS), cancer-specific survival, and recurrence rates. Understanding this link is crucial for determining risk levels and could help tailor treatment approaches for better long-term outcomes in endometrial cancer care.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) is one of the most common gynecological malignancies and its incidence and mortality continue apace. Lysosome-associated membrane protein 3 (LAMP3) is the third member of the LAMP family and its overexpression has been described to be involved in the progression of breast, ovarian and cervical cancers, but there has been an absence of research focusing on its role in UCEC. METHODS WGCNA, TIMER, LinkedOmics, GSEA, Cytoscape, Kaplan-Meier plotter, GDC, GeneMANIA, cBioPortal, PDB, RNAinter, miRNet were applied in this research. RESULTS Our study uncovers that LAMP3 possesses higher expression levels in UCEC compared to normal tissues, and this differential expression profile is tightly aligned with clinical and pathological features, and patients demonstrating high LAMP3 expression tend to have a shorter survival expectancy. The high expression of LAMP3 is modulated by the designated ceRNA network. LAMP3 is engaged in UCEC progression by functioning in a variety of biological roles of relevance to immunity. Furthermore, we predicted several prospering drugs based on drug sensitivity. Finally, we also constructed possible docking patterns of LAMP3 with ABCA3, RAB9A, and SGTB. CONCLUSIONS LAMP3 is a formidable biomarker for UCEC and could be a prospective candidate for the diagnosis, treatment and prognostic assessment of UCEC.

Abstract
Endometrial carcinoma (EC) has become one of the most common gynecological malignant neoplasms in developed countries worldwide. Studies have shown that this may be closely related to the abnormal metabolism of blood lipids, which was the most significant metabolic change in the human body in this cancer. In this review, we focus on the correlation between lipid metabolism and EC and discuss the evidence that abnormal lipid metabolism promotes an increase in EC growth and metabolism, as well as the regulatory mechanism and related signaling pathways involved in this relationship. In addition, we also discussed the research progress of targeted therapies and drug treatments for EC that act on lipid metabolism, and statins are expected to become adjuvant drugs for EC in the future. This review will provide a systematic view for a better understanding of the etiological relationship between lipid metabolism and EC and further open up new therapeutic possibilities and effective treatments for EC by targeting lipid metabolism.
