Abstract
Sexual satisfaction is an important concept in relationships contributing to psychological general well-being. The present study examined dyadic associations between mental health variables, particularly depression, anxiety, and stress, and sexual satisfaction. Using data of 102 heterosexual married couples from Turkey (mean age = 30.06 years), we sought to investigate whether a person's depression, anxiety, and stress were associated with his or her own as well as the partner's sexual satisfaction. Actor-Partner Independence Model (APIM) analysis revealed that husbands' anxiety and stress were associated with their own sexual satisfaction and husbands' depression was associated with both their own and the wives' sexual satisfaction. Wives' depression and stress were associated with their own sexual satisfaction but not with the satisfaction of their husbands. Additionally, wives' anxiety was not neither associated with their own nor their husbands' sexual satisfaction.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Work and family life are the two basic components of the individuals' life and each one affects the other. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to investigate the relationship between occupational stress, mental health and marital satisfaction among Iranian nurses. METHODS A cross-sectional study was conducted on 200 randomly selected nurses. The 35 items hospital stress scale, Enrich Marital Satisfaction questionnaire and Scl-25 mental health questionnaire were used. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, independent sample t-test and analysis of variance and regression analysis were used. RESULTS Inverse correlations were observed between the scores of job stress and mental health (r = -0.468, p = 0.001) and marital satisfaction (r = -0.517, p = 0.001). More than 0.74% of variation in marital satisfaction is explained by the components of occupational stress. CONCLUSION The results revealed that occupational stress plays a decisive role in nurses' marital satisfaction and mental health. Due to the destructive effects of occupational stress on the people's mental health, interpersonal relationships and on their efficacy in their job, establishment of some counseling services for nurses to be used by them periodically or by need, can help them to manage their stress level and better management of their family life problems. Moreover, in-service courses or workshops on stress management may help nurses to possess appropriate knowledge and skills on stress management.

Abstract
Introduction: Coronavirus disease (COVID−19), announced as a pandemic by the World Health Organization, recently has dominated people’s lifestyle. The impact of COVID−19 seems to be relevant to the sexual health as well. Methods: This prospective study was conducted on two occasions involving 764 female patients between March and April 2020—before and during the time of social quarantine. The sexual function was assessed using the Polish version of the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI). Every patient filled out the survey concerning socio-demographic characteristics as well as the influence of SARS-CoV−2 pandemic on their lives. Results: The overall FSFI score before the pandemic was 30.1 ± 4.4 and changed to 25.8 ± 9.7 during it. Scores of every domain: desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction and pain decreased as well (p < 0.001). There was statistically significant association between the workplace and the change of FSFI scores before and during COVID−19 pandemic (p < 0.01). We noticed the biggest decrease in FSFI score in the group of women who did not work at all (5.2 ± 9.9). Religion had a statistically important impact on level of anxiety (p < 0.01). Conclusion: The main finding of our study was the influence of COVID−19 pandemic on the quality of sexual lifestyle and frequency of intercourse among Polish women.

Abstract
BACKGROUND There is no standard and comprehensive questionnaire for reproductive health assessment among women shift workers. This study aimed at the development and psychometric evaluation of the Women Shift Workers' Reproductive Health Questionnaire. METHODS This sequential exploratory mixed-method study was conducted in a qualitative (item generation) and a quantitative (psychometric evaluation) phase. In the qualitative phase, the primary item pool of the questionnaire was generated based on the findings of the qualitative content analysis of 21 interviews held with 21 women shift workers as well as the findings of a literature review. In the quantitative phase, the face, content, construct, convergent, and discriminant validity and the reliability of the questionnaire were assessed. For construct validity assessment through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, 620 women shift workers were conveniently selected to fill out the questionnaire. Reliability assessment was done through assessing internal consistency, stability, and composite reliability. RESULTS The primary item pool contained 88 items. During face and content validity, item number was reduced to 55. Construct validity assessment through factor analysis revealed that 56.50% of the total variance was explained by five factors with 34 items. The factors were named motherhood, general health, sexual relationships, menstruation, and delivery. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the fit of the five-factor model. The Cronbach's alpha and the composite reliability value of the questionnaire were more than 0.7. CONCLUSION The Women Shift Workers' Reproductive Health Questionnaire is a valid and reliable instrument and can be used for reproductive health assessment among women shift workers.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Poor sleep quality consequences among shift working nurses are well recognized. AIM To investigate the impact of sleep improvement on sexual quality of life. METHODS The study was a parallel randomized controlled trial, conducted among 120 female nurses in 2 educational hospitals in the Northeast of Iran, Shahroud. Using random blocks of four, 120 eligible participants were randomly assigned to study groups. Data collecting tools included a demographic data questionnaire, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index to assess sleep quality, and the survey of sexual quality of life-female and Sexual Self-Efficacy Questionnaire to evaluate level of sexual quality of life and sexual self-efficacy, respectively. The intervention consisted of 3 weekly sleep intervention sessions that lasted from 90 to 120 minutes. OUTCOMES The study's primary and secondary outcomes were sleep quality, and the level of sexual self-efficacy and sexual quality of life, respectively. RESULTS By 3-month follow-up, the loss to follow-up rate was 5.9%. The mean sleep quality score was 7.61 ± 2.26 in the recruited participants. Following the intervention, the sleep quality score showed statistically significant differences compared to the control group [mean difference (CI 99.98%), -1.89 (-2.40, -1.38)]. Participants in the intervention group showed modest increases in both measures; sexual self-efficacy [mean difference (CI 99.98%), 8.82 (6.83, 10.81)] and sexual quality of life [mean difference (CI 99.98%), 19.64 (18.08, 21.20)]. CLINICAL IMPLICATIONS These findings suggest that sleep improvement could promote the sexual quality of life among shift working nurses. STRENGTHS & LIMITATIONS Strengths of this study include the use of a validated outcome measure. Focusing the study on female nurses and the small size of the study population are the limitations. CONCLUSION Improved sleep showed an impact on sexual quality of life among rotating female shift workers. Khastar H, Mirrezaie SM, Chashmi NA, et al. Abstract
PURPOSE This study aimed to use a web-based survey to investigate the correlation between job satisfaction and marital quality and to identify the association of demographics with job satisfaction and marital quality. METHODS Married nurses (N = 2,296) completed the questionnaires. Correlations and linear regression analyses were carried out. RESULTS Both marital quality and job satisfaction were relatively low. Additionally, marital quality was positively correlated with job satisfaction. Age, marital status (in years) and average daily hours spent with spouse had positive impact on job satisfaction. Multiple linear regression analyses showed that age, monthly income, average daily hours spent with spouse and marital quality were positively associated with job satisfaction. CONCLUSION Because of the shifts nurses working, there is little time for nurses to spend with their spouses and family. It is recommended that hospital leaders could provide more flexibility with nurses' shift choices so nurses can arrange their work-life balance better. Other considerations like reducing workload and reducing working hours should be promoted as options. Nurse managers could offer counseling services including strategies to cope with the balance between work and life. This effort could improve job satisfaction and reduce the rate of turnover of nurses.

Abstract
Nurses tend to experience a lot of stress and psychological pressure in their workplace. Secondary Traumatic Stress (STS) is a condition that can cause marital and psychological problems in married nurses. The present study was conducted to compare sexual satisfaction, marital intimacy, and depression in married nurses with and without severe symptoms of STS. The statistical population consisted of 303 married nurses selected through cluster sampling from three hospitals in Kermanshah, Iran, including Imam Reza (86 nurses), Imam Ali (110 nurses), and Taleghani (107 nurses) hospitals. Data were collected using the STS Scale, the Sexual Satisfaction Scale, the Marital Intimacy Questionnaire, and Beck's Depression Inventory (short-form) or BDI-13. The results obtained showed that 22.4% of all the nurses, 22.9% of the female nurses, and 21.8% of the male nurses had symptoms of STS and the mean score of the symptoms was higher in the female compared with the male nurses (P < .01). The results of the two-way multivariate analysis of covariance showed higher mean scores of sexual satisfaction and marital intimacy in the group without STS symptoms and a higher mean score of depression in the group with STS symptoms (P < .01). Psychologists and hospital authorities should pay more attention to the psychological problems faced by nurses, such as STS and its effects on sexual satisfaction, marital intimacy, and depression.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to develop a reliable and valid short version of the Udvalg for Kliniske Undersogelser (UKU) to efficiently evaluate the side effects of antipsychotics in patients with schizophrenia. This multi-site study included 10 hospitals, which included 331 inpatients and outpatients diagnosed with schizophrenia. UKU, Clinical Global Impression-Severity (CGI-S), Personal and Social Performance (PSP) and dosage of paliperidone were collected. The predictive validity of the UKU-short version, as well as that of the CGI-S, PSP and paliperidone dosages, was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM), latent growth models (LGM), and confirmatory factor analysis to test its content and construct validity. The UKU-short included nine-items of sedation, reduced sleep, rigidity, tremor, akathisia, headache, reduced salivation, constipation and orthostatic dizziness, and has good construct and content validity over time. Confirmatory factor analysis showed good construct validity, with the psychic, neurological and autonomic side effect dimensions having correlations between 0.60 and 0.71. The predictive validity of the short-version UKU for psychiatric symptoms (CGI-S), quality of life (PSP) and dosage showed that the effects of drug dosage were negligible, and only neurological side effects were associated with psychiatric symptoms and quality of life. The UKU-short showed good content, construct and predictive validity. It is a more time-efficient instrument than the original UKU. This study only included patients treated with paliperidone, larger scale studies is needed to validate the UKU-short in detection of side effects in routine clinical practice to prevent non-adherence in patients with schizophrenia.

Abstract
Adverse workplace factors such as job stress are reported to be associated with poor physical and mental health of nurses. However, associations between occupational factors and sexual life satisfaction (SLS) of nurses remain understudied. This study investigated SLS of Chinese female nurses of tertiary general hospitals and socio-demographic and occupational factors associated with reduced SLS of nurses. In this cross-sectional survey, 393 Chinese female nurses of four tertiary general hospitals completed a standardized socio-demographic and occupational characteristics questionnaire, Zung's Self-rating Scale for Depression, Job Content Questionnaire, and a self-report SLS question. Multiple ordinal logistic regression was used to identify factors related to reduced SLS. Fourteen point five percent female nurses were dissatisfied with their current sex lives. In multiple regression, related factors for decreased SLS included being unmarried (OR = 1.49), shift work (OR = 1.92), contract employment (OR = 1.63), high job demands (OR = 2.21), low job control (OR = 1.88), inadequate social support (OR = 2.32), and depression (OR = 3.14). Chinese female nurses of tertiary general hospitals have poor SLS. Reducing job stress and providing psycho-social support may help improve SLS of nurses.

Abstract
The balance between child-rearing and work may be one of the most challenging issues facing female clinical nurses, particularly those who work in three shifts. This study aimed to identify attitudes toward child-rearing in this particular cohort, female clinical nurses working three shifts. Q methodology, a research method concerned with individuals' subjective points of view, was used. Thirty-five selected Q statements from 51 participants were divided into a normal distribution using a nine-point bipolar scale, and the collected data were analyzed using the QUANL program. Three discrete factors emerged: Factor I: child-rearing is natural work (child-rearing and work are separate); Factor II: child-rearing is hard work (child-rearing and work are in conflict); and Factor III: child-rearing requires help from someone (child-rearing and work are balanced). The subjective viewpoints of the three identified factors can be applied to develop diverse strategies to support child-rearing in female clinical nurses.

This cross-sectional study was conducted on 228 reproductive-age women who were referred to the public Health Centers in Ahvaz, Iran. All eligible participants were asked to complete a demographic questionnaire, the Female Sexual Function Index, and the Perceived Stress Scale. The data were analyzed using independent t test, Pearson correlation, and logistic regression. The mean score of stress was 32.9 (SD = 4.7) in the normal sexual function group and 33.3 (SD = 5.5) in the unfavorable sexual function group. There was a significant correlation between stress and sexual function score, sexual desire, arousal, orgasm, lubrication, sexual pain, and satisfaction (p <.001). Spouses' education (OR = 0.15, CI [0.02, 0.97], p =.04) and frequency of sexual intercourse per week (OR = 1.8, CI [1.3, 2.5], p <.001) had a significant relation with stress. There is a significant relation between women's perceived stress and sexual function and satisfaction. Further analytical studies are needed to show the harmful effects of stress on women's sexual activity and satisfaction.
