Abstract
Psoriasis is a sustainable skin disease characterized by inflammation resulting from the interaction between immune cells and keratinocytes. Significant advancements have been achieved in studying the molecular process behind noncoding and coding genes, leading to valuable insights for clinical therapy. Nevertheless, our comprehension of this intricate ailment remains ambiguous. Natural products such as curcumin, vitamin D, omega-3, vitamin E, psoralen, gallic acid (GA), and resveratrol offer a promising alternative or adjunct therapy for psoriasis by modulating multiple pathways and exhibiting fewer side effects compared to conventional treatments. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short RNAs that are involved in regulating gene expression after transcription, namely by suppressing gene activity. Recent research on miRNAs has uncovered their significant significance in the development of psoriasis. In this review, we examined the latest developments in the investigation of miRNAs in psoriasis. Previous studies have revealed that imbalanced miRNAs in psoriasis have a significant impact on the processes of keratinocyte differentiation, proliferation, and the progression of inflammation. Furthermore, miRNAs exert an impact on the activity of immune cells involved in psoriasis, such as Langerhans cells, dendritic cells, and CD4+ T cells. Furthermore, we explore potential miRNA-focused treatment options for psoriasis, including the localized administration of external miRNA mimics, and miRNA inhibitors. The effectiveness of natural products and miRNAs in treating psoriasis, as well as the signaling pathways that may be involved, are summarized in this article.

Abstract
Psoriasis is an immune-mediated genetic disease, characterized by its manifestation on the skin, the joints, or both. In this paper, our primary aim is to increase awareness about the intricate nature of this multifaceted condition, highlight the potential of therapeutic approaches, and examine the factors affecting the future course of psoriasis. This paper introduces a mathematical model for psoriasis, formulated by fractional order differential equations (FODE) with Caputo sense. The model also includes the drug effect of immune-boosting drugs on psoriasis. It has been shown that the solution of the proposed system exists and is unique, and its positivity and boundedness have been proven. Additionally, the local stability and global stability of the co-existing equilibrium point have been investigated. Numerical solutions have been conducted using the Adams Bashforth PECE method to analyze the influence of fractional order derivatives (FODs) and distinct parameters on population dynamics. The graphics have been acquired using the L1 scheme, incorporating a memory trace (MT) mechanism capable of comprehensively capturing and amalgamating historical system dynamics to visualize the memory trace in detail. One of the results deduced from this paper is that the MT disappears when α equals 1. Upon decreasing the fractional order α from 1, the MT experiences a non-linear augmentation starting from zero. This observed MT emphasizes the distinction between derivatives of fractional and integer orders. Within the proposed model, our findings suggest that introducing the immune booster drug efficiently controls psoriasis. Furthermore, when appropriate clinical patient data are available, the proposed results can be used for a specific psoriasis patient. Our study suggests that treatment with the drug may be a new insight into psoriasis treatment and may be proposed as a treatment policy for future clinical trials.

Abstract
Western diet may trigger sleep disorders and vice versa, but their single and mutual effects on systemic inflammatory diseases (i.e., psoriasis) are far from being fully elucidated. At the same time, psoriatic patients display a great burden of sleep disorders and dysmetabolisms related to an unhealthy lifestyle (i.e., diet). These patients are also affected by a chronic disorder deeply modulated by environmental factors (i.e., sleep and diet) capable to influence drug-response and disease progression. Thus, we aimed to summarize the evidence in the literature that may highlight a potential link among psoriasis–diet–sleep in order to further promote a multidisciplinary approach to psoriatic patients in the scientific community.

Abstract
Experimental and clinical studies have confirmed safety and the medical benefits of probiotics as immunomodulatory medications. Recent advances have emphasized the critical effect of gastrointestinal bacteria in the pathology of inflammatory disorders, even, outside the gut. Probiotics have shown promising results for curing skin-influencing inflammatory disorders through modulating the immune response by manipulating the gut microbiome. Psoriasis is a complex inflammatory skin disease, which exhibits a microbiome distinct from the normal skin. In the present review, we considered the impact of gastrointestinal microbiota on the psoriasis pathogenesis, and through literature survey, attempted to explore probiotic species utilized for psoriasis treatment.

Abstract
The adult intestine hosts a huge number of diverse bacterial species, collectively referred to as the microbiome, that reside mainly in the lower gut, where they maintain a symbiotic relationship with their host. Recent research points to a central role of the microbiome in many biological processes. These microbial communities are influenced by multiple environmental and dietary factors and can modulate immune responses. In addition to local effects on the gastrointestinal tract, the microbiota is associated with effects on other organs and tissues, such as the skin. Indeed, an altered microbiome has been associated with skin disorders in several instances. Thus, in this review, we describe the recent advances regarding the interplay between gut microbiota and the skin. We explore how this potential link affects skin homeostasis and its influence on modulating the cutaneous immune response, focusing on psoriasis disorder. Finally, we discuss how to take advantage of this interplay to manage this disorder, particularly through probiotics administration. In the gastrointestinal tract, the microbiome has been proven to be important in the maintenance of the balance between effector T cells and regulatory T cells, and the induction of immunoglobulin A. Moreover, gut bacterial dysbiosis is associated with chronic inflammatory disorders of the skin, such as psoriasis. Thus, the microbiome can be considered an effective therapeutical target for treating this disorder. Despite some limitations, interventions with probiotics seem promising for the development of a preventive therapy by restoring altered microbiome functionality or as an adjuvant in specific immunotherapy.

Abstract
ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE Vernonia anthelmintica has been utilized conventionally as an ingredient in Ayurveda and traditional Uighur medicine for management of various skin ailments, and scientific data's have substantiated its use in treating vitiligo, dermatosis and leucoderma. The present investigation was focused to evaluate the antipsoriatic activity of V. anthelmintica fruit extracts and fractions. MATERIALS AND METHODS Ointment containing dichloromethane (DCM) and methanol (MeOH) extracts at topical dose of 2.5% and 5% (w/w) was evaluated using mouse tail model of psoriasis. Bioactivity-guided fractionation (F1-F7) of most active extract was carried out and fractions were again subjected to mouse tail model. Further the activity of bioactive fraction was confirmed in HaCaT (human keratinocyte) cell line using MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)- 2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay and its chemical characterization was done via gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS). RESULTS The dichloromethane extract (5%, w/w) showed statistically significant (* p < 0.05) antipsoriatic activity (66.97 ± 2.68%) with respect to control (25.45 ± 1.80%) and equivalent to that of the standard drug, retino-A 0.05%, (72.47 ± 2.14%) in terms of degree of orthokeratosis, whereas methanol extract (5%, w/w) showed significant (* p < 0.05) differentiation (45.86 ± 2.02%) in comparison to the control group. Out of all fractions, F6 showed statistically significant (* p < 0.05) antipsoriatic activity (69.27 ± 2.76%) with respect to control and equivalent to that of the standard. F6 (15.6-1000 µg/ml) showed dose-dependent inhibition of HaCaT cell lines proliferation which suggests keratinocyte modulating activity of V. anthelmintica. Chemical characterization of F6 revealed that essential fatty acids (i.e., linoleic acid, palmitic acid, oleic acid and stearic acid) formed the bulk of bioactive fraction. CONCLUSION Ameliorative effect of V. anthelmintica in psoriasis might be attributed to the presence of essential fatty acids and thus corroborates its traditional use in the treatment of skin ailments.

Abstract
The adult intestine hosts a myriad of diverse bacterial species that reside mostly in the lower gut maintaining a symbiosis with the human habitat. In the current review, we describe the neoteric advancement in our comprehension of how the gut microbiota communicates with the skin as one of the main regulators in the gut-skin axis. We attempted to explore how this potential link affects skin differentiation and keratinization, its influence on modulating the cutaneous immune response in various diseases, and finally how to take advantage of this communication in the control of different skin conditions.
