Abstract
BACKGROUND Low back pain is a prevalent issue worldwide, impacting all healthcare professionals, in particular nurses, and leading to disability. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to explore the predictive contribution of demographic factors, the presence of LBP, and knowledge about LBP in forecasting the level of disability among nurses in Oman. METHOD A cross-sectional study was conducted using a paper-based questionnaire comprising two valid tools: the Low Back Pain Knowledge Questionnaire and the Oswestry Low Back Disability Questionnaire. A total of 236 nurses working in two tertiary hospitals in Oman participated in the study. RESULT The findings indicate that 66.8% of nurses had low back pain. The low back pain knowledge score was 13.81(SD 4.42). The mean disability score was 9.13 (SD 8.56), indicating mild disability. There is a negative significant association between low back pain knowledge (r = -0.24, p < .004) and disability level. The low back pain presence was also significantly associated with disability level (t (233) = 4.606, p < .001). The results of the regression indicated the two predictors (i.e., knowledge level and low back pain) explained 13 % of the variation in nurses' disability level [F (3,230) = 11.447, p = .01]. CONCLUSION Low back pain is prevalent among nurses in Oman, and it is associated with disability. Preventive strategies need to be implemented.

Abstract
Introduction Low back pain (LBP) knowledge questionnaire (LKQ) was developed by a Brazilian research group in 2009. It has been cross-culturally adapted to many languages with good reliability and validity. This work aimed to translate and validate the LKQ into a simplified Chinese version and to evaluate the self-efficacy in LBP among Chinese participants from China and Hungary. Methods A total of 431 people participated in this research, which lasted from September 2021 to June 2022 and was conducted on the Credamo online platform. The simplified Chinese LKQ (sC-LKQ) was generated through translation and cross-cultural adaptation guidelines. The participants were selected to fill out demographic questions, the sC-LKQ, and the Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ). The reliability and validity of the data were evaluated using SPSS 28.0. Results The sC-LKQ showed good internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha was 0.79), and the intraclass correlation value was 0.85. There were five components in the questionnaire with good construct validity. The scores of RMDQ had negatively correlated with sC-LKQ. Conclusion In the Chinese population, the sC-LKQ demonstrated excellent psychometric qualities and could be used to evaluate self-efficacy in clinical practice and research.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to translate and validate of the Chinese version of the Occupational Low Back Pain Prevention Behaviors Questionnaire among clinical nurses. Methods A total of 1,186 clinical nurses were recruited from three provinces in northeast China. The reliability of the translated questionnaire was measured by internal consistency, split-half reliability, and test-retest reliability. The validity of the translated questionnaire was evaluated by content validity index, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Results The Cronbach's α value of the questionnaire was 0.891, and the coefficient values for the six domains ranged between 0.804 and 0.917. The split-half reliability and test-retest reliability were 0.663 and 0.734, respectively. Furthermore, the content validity index of the questionnaire was 0.938. The 6-factor structure, supported by the eigenvalues, total variance explained, and scree plot accounted for 63.038% of the total variance. In the confirmatory factor analysis, as the results of model fitting, χ2/df = 3.753, RMSEA = 0.048, GFI = 0.929, AGFI = 0.913, TLI = 0.934, IFI = 0.943, CFI = 0.943, PGFI = 0.759, PNFI = 0.807. Conclusion The Chinese version of the Occupational Low Back Pain Prevention Behaviors Questionnaire had suitable reliability and validity among clinical nurses. Under the high prevalence of occupational low back pain, the questionnaire can provide a reference for developing educational intervention plans among clinical nurses.

Abstract
Low back pain (LBP) is a prevalent musculoskeletal disease that affects a large percentage of the working population, including teachers. The World Health Organization has identified the school as an effective environment for improving child health. For this reason, the figure of the teacher is a fundamental piece in the process of knowledge acquisition about postural education and prevention of LBP among schoolchildren. The present study aims to determine the knowledge of postural education and back pain prevention among primary school teachers. This cross-sectional study evaluated 85 primary school teachers from Majorca (Spain), of whom 17.6% were physical education teachers and 82.4% were classroom teachers. The study was based on two different structured and self-administered questionnaires to investigate into specific knowledge about LBP: Low Back Pain Knowledge Questionnaire (LKQ) and COSACUES-AEF Questionnaire. The results demonstrated a lifetime prevalence of LBP of 96.5% with significant differences determined by sex. The knowledge of participants about LBP was 17.3 in LKQ (range scale 0-24) and 4.3 in COSACUES (range scale 1-10). In conclusion, the teachers knowledge is insufficient to carry out an efficient and useful health promotion program among schoolchildren to prevent LBP.

Abstract
Background Chronic non-specific low back pain syndrome (cnsLBP) is a severe health problem in developed countries, which has an important effect on patients’ quality of life and is highly determined by socio-demographic factors and low back pain specific knowledge. We examined patients’ health-related quality of life according to the results of the Short Form Health Survey (SF-36), low back pain knowledge (LBPKQ) and the social determinants of the participants. Methods We carried out our research in the first half of 2015 in Southern Transdanubia, Hungary. The examination included 1155 respondents living with chronic non-specific low back pain. The confidence interval of 95% was used, and the level of. significance was p < 0.05 using SPSS 22.0 software. Results The SF-36 questionnaire is suitable for the examination of patients’ health-related quality of life (Cronbach’s Alpha> 0.76), as the LBPKQ’s Cronbach’s Alpha was 0.726 also, which showed good validity. Longer-term disease meant a lower health-related quality of life (p < 0.05). A greater decrease of function (Roland Morris scores (RM)) accounts for a lower HRQoL and higher knowledge level. We found significant differences in LBPKQ scores according to sociodemographic parameters. The general health status was positively correlated with LBPKQ (p = 0.024) adjusted for demographic and pain and functional status. Conclusion The negative effect of the symptoms on patients’ quality of life is proved, which is determined by different socio-demographic parameters furthermore by knowledge. Above all could be useful information for professionals to adopt the right interventions.

Abstract
Background: Low Back Pain Knowledge Questionnaire (LBP_KQ) was originally developed and validated for English speakers but not yet available for Arabic speakers.Purpose: To translate, cross-culturally adapt, and test the psychometric properties of the Arabic version of the LBP_KQ.Methods: Translation and cross-cultural adaptation were performed according to recommended guidelines. Construct validity was assessed through principal component analysis, and contrasted groups including physical therapists, nurses, and patients with low back pain. Concurrent validity was assessed by the correlation of LBP_KQ with the fear avoidance-belief questionnaire and depression, anxiety, and stress scale. Reliability was assessed using internal consistency (Cronbach's α) and test-retest reliability using intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland-Altman analyses. Sensitivity to change was measured by comparing an educational intervention group (IG) and a control group (CG).Results: The questionnaire has four components. Physical therapists had significantly (p < .001) higher LBP_KQ scores than nurses and patients indicating good construct validity. There was a significant correlation between LBP_KQ and fear avoidance-belief questionnaire total score (r = 0.200, p = .04), depression score (r = -0.219, p = .024), anxiety score (r = -0.251, p < .01), stress score (r = -0.199, p < .041). Cronbach's α was 0.662, and ICC (2,1) was 0.760 which reflects good reliability. There was a significant difference in LBP_KQ scores between IG and CG (p < .001) indicating sensitivity to change.Conclusion: The Arabic version of LBP_KQ is valid, reliable, and sensitive to change.
