Abstract
Lay Summary
Upadacitinib, a selective JAK-1 inhibitor, was used as rescue therapy for ulcerative colitis in the setting of pregnancy following use of mesalamine, vedolizumab, infliximab, and corticosteroids. This resulted in an uncomplicated live full birth without need for surgical intervention.

Lay Summary
This study evaluated pregnancy outcomes in patients with ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, or multiple sclerosis and in healthy volunteers treated with ozanimod. There was no increased incidence of fetal abnormalities or adverse pregnancy outcomes with ozanimod exposure during early pregnancy.
