3D virtual visual plane design method based on ordered point sequence under the influence of COVID-19

The transmission routes of novel coronavirus pneumonia include direct transmission, aerosol transmission and contact transmission. Therefore, the novel coronavirus pneumonia has been spread very quickly. This has a certain impact on the development of graphic design. Graphic design plays an important role in product design. However, the traditional aided design method is too complex, and it is difficult for designers to design works that meet their own needs. In the design of 3D virtual vision graphics, the distance calculation of time series is not accurate. This kind of error will bring some errors to the design of complex curved surface products. In order to measure the similarity of time series effectively, the calculation principle of Euclidean distance and dynamic bending distance is analyzed. Combined with the advantages of these two methods, a new distance calculation method based on morphological fitting is proposed. In this paper, through the research of ordered point sequence, the 3D virtual design method is used to improve the design effect, which has reference value for the design of works that meet the requirements of designers during the popularity of COVID-19.

Liminal Light and Primate Evolution

The adaptive origins of primates and anthropoid primates are topics of enduring interest to biological anthropologists. A convention in these discussions is to treat the light environment as binary—night is dark, day is light—and to impute corresponding selective pressure on the visual systems and behaviors of primates. In consequence, debate has tended to focus on whether a given trait can be interpreted as evidence of nocturnal or diurnal behavior in the primate fossil record. Such classification elides the variability in light, or the ways that primates internalize light in their environments. Here, we explore the liminality of light by focusing on what it is, its many sources, and its flux under natural conditions. We conclude by focusing on the intensity and spectral properties of twilight, and we review the mounting evidence of its importance as a cue that determines the onset or offset of primate activities as well as the entrainment of circadian rhythms.

Vision under mesopic and scotopic illumination

Evidence has accumulated that rod activation under mesopic and scotopic light levels alters visual perception and performance. Here we review the most recent developments in the measurement of rod and cone contributions to mesopic color perception and temporal processing, with a focus on data measured using a four-primary photostimulator method that independently controls rod and cone excitations. We discuss the findings in the context of rod inputs to the three primary retinogeniculate pathways to understand rod contributions to mesopic vision. Additionally, we present evidence that hue perception is possible under scotopic, pure rod-mediated conditions that involves cortical mechanisms.

Visual performance in night-time driving conditions

This paper introduces an experimental multitechnique method which was developed to establish a basis for a task performance-based mesopic photometry. This approach considers night-time driving by dividing visual performance into three visual tasks, of which achromatic threshold and reaction time are presented. The performance of both visual tasks decreased with decreasing luminance level from 1 to 0.01 cd m(-2), showing the strong effect of light level on visual performance in driving. The behaviour of the achromatic contrast threshold and reaction time for low-contrast targets was similar in terms of spectral effects, the strongest effects occurring at the lower mesopic levels. Both measures showed the Purkinje shift with decreasing luminance levels. The experimental data were used to calculate mesopic performance measures with the new mesopic model. The results imply that compared with V(lambda), spectral sensitivity in night-time driving can be better described with a mesopic model based on visual performance measures.
