Abstract
The objective was to identify through integrative review the approach on maternity and motherhood in street situation. This is an integrative review performed in the databases PubMed, BIREME, Medline, and SciELO search portal, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The survey was conducted between October and December 2021, following the recommendations of the Prisma flowchart and support of the Mendeley software, submitted to content analysis by Minayo. Eighteen articles were selected. The reading allowed the identification of two thematic categories: "Maternity and mothering in the streets" and "Main challenges experienced in maternity and mothering in street situation". Address about motherhood and mothering as a field of knowledge production creates a tension of the social constructions that do not have effecting rights for lack of programs and forceful intersectoral policies. In addition to the stigmatization for use of psychoactive substances, as well as the patriarchal structure attributed to motherhood. The responsibility for care entails several issues that cross the motherhood and mothering in the streets, namely: concern with the health of children, the fear of losing custody of their loved ones.

Social representations of breastfeeding in health science students: A first step to strengthening their training. Nurse Educ Pract 2024; 78:103991. Abstract
AIM This study aims to describe the social representations of breastfeeding among Mexican health science students. BACKGROUND Breastfeeding is a complex phenomenon involving biological, affective and sociocultural aspects. Its definition includes diverse beliefs, attitudes, traditions and myths. Being aware of the connections between biological and sociocultural concepts in the social representations of breastfeeding in health science students may facilitate our comprehension of their attitudes/behaviors towards breastfeeding. DESIGN A qualitative study was carried out based on the structuralist approach of the social representations theory. METHODS Data were collected with free-listing questionnaires with breastfeeding as an inducer word among a random sample of nutrition, medical and nursing undergraduate students (n=124). The analyses used were similitude/meanings of words, prototypical and categorical analyses. RESULTS The findings suggest that the structure of the social representation is composed of breastfeeding essentials (baby, mother, & milk), affective (attachment, love & link), biological (nutrition, breasts, & health) and sociocultural elements (taboo, responsibility, & economic). Only instrumental elements are found in the nucleus, whereas biological, affective and sociocultural elements are observed in the peripheries. Moreover, emerging thematic categories such as the "affective bond" and "feeding" introduced additional dimensions, thereby emphasizing the complexity and richness of the social representation of breastfeeding in the context of health science students. CONCLUSIONS The structure of the social representation of breastfeeding among some Mexican undergraduate health science students focuses on the instrumental aspects, emphasizing essential elements. However, they downplay more scientifically oriented elements specific to their academic training. These findings, when extrapolated to different contexts, present an opportunity that could assist the development of tailored and culturally adapted educational strategies to strengthen breastfeeding training for health students. This approach can significantly contribute to enhancing breastfeeding promotion in society by addressing practical, scientific and language-inclusive aspects in the training of health professionals.

Abstract
Although evidence of the benefits of breastfeeding is widespread, there are several challenges to initiate and sustain it. Infant formula companies use marketing strategies that violate existing regulations, contributing to its early abandonment. We explore the digital marketing exposure of infant formulas in Argentina by analyzing people's interactions with brands and the traces of these interactions in conversations engaged in Facebook groups during 2022, from a qualitative approach based on digital ethnography. Results show that companies deploy regulatory avoidance tactics and seek contact with mothers. Users do not interact with the accounts but are exposed to their strategies given the correlation between product attributes present in advertising with their motivations and aspirations. The mediators between marketing and mothers are medical professionals, used as marketing resources. We conclude that authorities should promote new agreements on the practices of medical professionals and develop regulations taking into account digital environments.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To understand the experiences of mothers with early weaning. METHOD Qualitative research with a theoretical-methodological contribution from Grounded Theory (Straussian perspective), carried out in the context of primary health care in a medium-sized municipality in the northeast of Brazil. 19 collaborators participated by theoretical sampling. Data collection took place between April and September 2018, with in-depth interviews, and was analyzed in three stages: open and axial coding, and integration. RESULTS The central category "Women experiencing guilt and overload due to early weaning" was supported by three categories: a) conditions: "Showing the factors that limit breastfeeding"; b) actions/interactions: "Trying to balance motherhood and work during breastfeeding" and "Insufficient social support to keep exclusive breastfeeding"; and c) consequences: "Introducing formula and complementary foods before six months" and "Blaming oneself for the early weaning". FINAL CONSIDERATIONS The theoretical model can give support to managers and health professionals to advocate for longer maternity leaves and confront gender disparities and inequities, professional performance with conflicts of interest, and abusive marketing regarding the use of formula.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To describe and interpret a woman's perception of her body image during the breastfeeding process. METHOD Descriptive qualitative study conducted at a university hospital in the Southeast region, Brazil. Forty-three puerperal women who were breastfeeding were interviewed. The interviews were submitted to lexical analysis using the IRAMUTEQ software and interpreted based on the Interactive Theory of Breastfeeding. RESULTS Women report dissatisfaction with changes in body image during breastfeeding. But they also value and want to keep breastfeeding because of the benefits for the child. Finally, several women express the desire to perform plastic surgery in the future because of these body changes. CONCLUSION The woman's perception of her body image as satisfactory/unsatisfactory indicates that body changes cover the breastfeeding process with feelings of ambiguity.Body changes are perceived by women in a personal, subjective and complex way.

Abstract
Objective The World Health Organization has warned of the importance of looking at the pandemic from a gender perspective since biological, social, and cultural aspects can produce differences in the way women and men experience the ongoing pandemic situation. This study aimed to investigate Brazilian women’s perception of COVID-19 concerning the susceptibility to infection, the severity of COVID-19, and the collective behavior in response to pandemic risks. It also sought to examine the COVID-19 level of perceived fears by the level of fear across specific COVID-19 fears, such as the risk of infection and the threat posed to life. Methods The sample consisted of 5527 Brazilian women aged between 18 and 74 years (mean age = 41, SD = 13.5) recruited from an online cross-sectional survey conducted in Brazil. The analysis addressed questions about the chance of COVID-19 infection, the impact on daily activities in case of infection, the threat to life posed by COVID-19, and the collective behavior in the pandemic context. In addition, the fear of COVID-19 was assessed using the Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S). Results Women’s age and personal conditions, particularly those related to family and domestic life, showed association with the perceived susceptibility to infection and the severity of COVID-19. The higher the perceived susceptibility and severity, the greater the fear level. The fear level was also higher among women whose perception was that people were ignoring the pandemic risks. Conclusion This study provides insight into Brazilian women’s perception of COVID-19 and their fear level during the pandemic’s early stages. Our findings can increase the understanding of the adverse consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on women, assisting in the strategic planning of public policies.
