Abstract
The Perceptions of Dating Infidelity Scale (PDIS) assesses how people perceive infidelity through specific behaviors. Originally developed by Wilson et al. (2011), it contains 12 items distributed into three factors: (1) ambiguous, (2) deceptive, and (3) explicit behaviors. In the present research, translation, cross-cultural adaptation, and validation of the PDIS in Brazilian Portuguese were performed. First, qualitative analyses took place: translation, translation synthesis, content validation, pre-test, and reverse translation. Then, quantitative analyses were conducted: psychometric parameter tests with confirmatory factor analysis and reliability. A total of 252 participants were recruited, 160 of whom were female (63.5%). The results indicated consistent PDIS adequacy (conceptual and idiomatic equivalences); satisfactory content validity coefficients regarding language clarity, practical pertinence, and theoretical relevance; and an almost perfect level of consensus regarding the theoretical dimension. The application of the pre-test was proven to be a good parameter for estimating the comprehension of the instrument in the culture for which it was intended. Confirmatory factor analysis showed good indices of adjustment quality of the tested trifactorial model (three factors being identified with ambiguous, deceptive, and explicit behaviors). Therefore, the structure indicated in the original version was corroborated and the instrument's reliability confirmed. The Brazilian Portuguese PDIS is a useful tool for evaluating infidelity perceptions in the Brazilian culture.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE to validate the content and appearance of the educational booklet "You can control your child's asthma - let's learn together?" with parents and caregivers of children with asthma. METHODS this is a methodological study, carried out with 34 mothers and caregivers of children, from two to 10 years old, diagnosed with asthma. The educational booklet validation was performed using Content Validity Index (CVI) and assessment of comprehension, attractiveness, self-efficacy, persuasion, and cultural acceptance domains. RESULTS the booklet was considered clear (99.8%) and relevant (100%), with a global CVI of 0.99. Domain assessment proved to be an easy-to-understand tool, culturally appropriate, attractive, with persuasive power and promoting self-efficacy. CONCLUSION the booklet is valid and adequate for promoting the self-efficacy of parents and caregivers in childhood asthma control and management, potentially scalable to other realities of outpatient care.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to validate the content and appearance of an educational game for children aged 7 to 10 years, focusing mainly on cardiovascular health promotion. METHOD The study used methodological research, with a quantitative approach. The validation process included the participation of 17 specialists in children and/or cardiovascular health. A concordance index of at least 0.80 was considered for content validation and 0.75 for the appearance of the proposed educational material. RESULTS The proposal of the educational game was considered valid, through some suggestions, in view of the purpose of sensitizing children in relation to the promotion of cardiovascular health while still in childhood. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS As a relevant factor in the use of games as strategies to improve health education, we emphasize that the participant is the active agent and the protagonist of the health-disease process.

Abstract

Abstract
Responsiveness is a quality indicator presented by the World Health Organization in the field of health evaluation. Therefore, the objective of this study was to develop an instrument to evaluate the clients' opinions regarding the responsiveness of the nursing service of a public university hospital. The research was developed in the following stages: developing the instrument based on a literature review, apparent validation, applicability test and pilot test. The instrument allows the identification of the clients' expectations and perceptions, subdivided into aspects related to the Structure Process and Outcomes, measured using a 7-point Likert scale. Based on the results of the pilot test it was possible to establish a numerical indication of the Relative Satisfaction Rate and its interval. The study promoted the development of an acceptability percentage scale for the interval, which indicates the extent to which the nursing service meets the clients' expectations.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop reliable assessment instruments to measure hemodialysis vascular access. The design of healthcare indicators involved an indepth-analysis of vascular access practices in hemodialysis and their underlying theoretical rationale, and was grounded on Donabedian's framework. Four indicators were selected: performance of temporary double-lumen catheter, maintenance of temporary double-lumen catheter, monitoring of arteriovenous fistula and complications of arteriovenous fistulas. The first three are process-oriented while the last one relate to outcomes. Data was collected in October and November 2008 using a tree-part questionnaire, thus divided: assessment of the indicators' operations manual, assessment of health attributes of the indicators and assessment of each of the components. The validation of the indicators was carried out by a panel of nine internationally renowned experts in nephrology. All indicators were validated by the panel, with at least a 75% favorable consensus. It is believed that the use of this instrument contributes for evaluation and improvement of quality in hemodialysis services.
