O teatro espontâneo do cotidiano como um instrumento terapêutico nas ressignificações de ser um portador de transtorno mental

O teatro espontâneo do cotidiano constitui-se em importante ferramenta na assistência à saúde mental. Este estudo objetivou compreender o significado de ser um portador de transtorno mental e oferecer um instrumento para ressignificações. Para isso, cinco usuários de um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial participaram de 12 encontros, utilizando-se a técnica do Teatro Espontâneo do Cotidiano, que foram filmados, e os usuários, submetidos a entrevistas, cujos conteúdos foram transcritos e analisados de forma qualitativa, na ótica do Interacionismo Simbólico. Identificaram-se sete categorias com temas relativos aos significados de ser um portador de transtorno mental, que revelaram percepções acerca de questões normativas e do sofrimento pelas perdas cotidianas. Foram indicados caminhos de possibilidades, renovação, superação e de expectativas, sendo o teatro espontâneo do cotidiano um facilitador da interação e expressão, propiciando uma construção criativa em busca de soluções para problemáticas da vida cotidiana, constituindo-se, assim, em uma ferramenta significativa na reabilitação psicossocial.

[The supply and use of psychotropic drugs in Psychosocial Care Centers in Southern Brazil]

The description of the supply and use of psychotropic drugs at the Centers for Psychosocial Care (CAPS) is relevant for the effectiveness of assistance from mental health services. The objective was to describe the use and supply of these drugs in CAPS types I and II, in Southern Brazil. This is a cross-sectional study, in which surveys were conducted, in May and June 2006, on the structural aspects of the referred service using charts of 1162 users, and self-applied questionnaires answered by 30 engineers working at CAPS where these users were being monitored. Users were identified as mostly female, adult, middle-aged, low economic status, mainly with a diagnosis of major depression and using antidepressants. It was also found that there might be a lack of distribution and supply of psychotropic drugs in the public health system (SUS) network, which affects the drug therapy of this specialized mental health service, given the socioeconomic conditions of the users.

Perfil dos usuários de serviços de Saúde Mental do município de Lorena - São Paulo

OBJETIVOS: Identificar o perfil dos usuários do Ambulatório de Saúde Mental e do Centro de Atenção Psicossocial de Lorena - São Paulo. MÉTODOS: Estudo exploratório descritivo com dados coletados em 5.830 prontuários dos usuários desses dois serviços de Saúde Mental. RESULTADOS:Foram analisados 5.490 prontuários no Ambulatório e 340 no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial. No Ambulatório 68% dos usuários eram mulheres e no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial, 61% eram homens. Os diagnósticos que prevaleceram no Ambulatório foram: transtornos neuróticos, relacionados ao estresse e os somatoformes, e no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial, foram os transtornos decorrentes do uso de substâncias psicoativas. O grupo de medicamentos mais prescritos no Ambulatório foi o de antidepressivos, e no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial, os antipsicóticos. CONCLUSÃO: Verificou-se que os serviços de Saúde Mental atuam de forma desarticulada com a Atenção Básica de Saúde e faz-se necessário implantar o apoio matricial nesse município.

Bipolar affective disorder: medication adherence and satisfaction with treatment and guidance by the health team in a mental health service

Bipolar Affective Disorder (BAD) is a chronic disease and requires medication treatment. This study verified the adherence of people with BAD to medication and compared, among adherent and non-adherent patients, satisfaction with the health team and treatment. Twenty-one patients with BAD receiving care in a mental health unit participated in the study. The Morisky-Green test and another instrument elaborated by the researchers were used for interviews. Data were analyzed with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Results showed that the majority of patients did not adhere to the medication treatment due to 'non-intentional behavior' (negligence or forgetfulness). The majority reports satisfaction with information received regarding the medication and its effectiveness, though there were reports of collateral effects, doubts and lack of motivation to keep up the treatment. This research shows the need for strategies directed at promoting adherence to medication therapy in patients with BAD.
