Abstract
OBJECTIVE Various psychosocial interventions have been developed to reduce distress and improve quality of life (QoL) in patients with advanced cancer, many of which are traditional cognitive-behavioral interventions (CBIs) or mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs). The aims of this meta-analysis were to determine and compare the overall effects of traditional CBIs and MBIs on distress and QoL in this population and to explore potential moderators of intervention efficacy. METHODS A systematic search was conducted in CINAHL, Embase, PsycINFO, PubMed, and Web of Science. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing CBIs or MBIs to controls on distress and QoL outcomes were eligible for inclusion. Random effects meta-analyses using standardized baseline to post-intervention mean differences were calculated using Hedges's g. Meta-regressions were used to compare intervention effects and examine potential moderators. RESULTS Across 37 RCTs (21 CBIs, 14 MBIs, 2 combination therapies), there was a small decrease in distress (Hedges's g = 0.21) and a minimal improvement in QoL (Hedges's g = 0.15). Traditional CBIs and MBIs did not differ in effect sizes. Heterogeneity was significant across distress effect sizes but not across QoL effects. Interventions delivered to individuals (vs. dyads/group) had larger effects on QoL. No moderators of intervention effects on distress were found. CONCLUSIONS Findings suggest traditional CBIs and MBIs produce small reductions in distress compared to controls in patients with advanced cancer, although effects on QoL appear minimal. Given limitations in the number of studies and their quality, rigorous trials are needed to directly compare the impact of traditional CBIs and MBIs in this population.

Abstract
The latest global cancer burden data released by the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization in 2020 shows that there were 19.29 million new cancer cases worldwide, with 4.57 million in China, ranking first. The number of cancer survivors is increasing, with a 5-year survival rate exceeding 85%, but there are emotional disorders. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can improve negative emotions and has significant effects on patients. However, there is a limited number of physicians and high costs, so internet interventions have become a solution. The feasibility of web-based interventions for breast cancer patients has been proven. Research on internet-delivered CBT is also increasing. The purpose of this study was to review the concept of web-based CBT and its application status in cancer survivors, in order to provide relevant intervention for scholars and provide reference and supplement for patients to provide psychological therapy.

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) on anxiety and depression in cancer survivors. The PubMed, Embase, PsycINFO, and Cochrane Library databases were searched. Randomized controlled trials that evaluated the effects of CBT in cancer survivors were included. The standardized mean difference (SMD) was used as an effect size indicator. Fifteen studies were included. For the depression score, the pooled results of the random effects model were as follows: pre-treatment versus post-treatment, SMD (95% confidence interval [CI]) = 0.88 (0.46, 1.29), P < 0.001; pre-treatment versus 3-month follow-up, 0.83 (0.09, 1.76), P = 0.08; pre-treatment versus 6-month follow-up, 0.92 (0.27, 1.58), P = 0.006; and pre-treatment versus 12-month follow-up, 0.21 (- 0.28, 0.70), P = 0.40. For the anxiety score, the pooled results of the random effects model were as follows: pre-treatment versus post-treatment, 0.97 (0.58, 1.36), P < 0.001; pre-treatment versus 3-month follow-up, 1.45 (- 0.82, 3.72), P = 0.21; and pre-treatment versus 6-month follow-up, 1.00 (0.17, 1.83), P = 0.02). The pooled result of the fixed effects model for the comparison between pre-treatment and the 12-month follow-up was 0.10 (- 0.16, 0.35; P = 0.45). The subgroup analysis revealed that the geographical location, treatment time and treatment form were not sources of significant heterogeneity. CBT significantly improved the depression and anxiety scores of the cancer survivors; such improvement was maintained until the 6-month follow-up. These findings support recommendations for the use of CBT in survivors of cancer.

Effects of Perinatal Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on Delivery Mode, Fetal Outcome, and Postpartum Depression and Anxiety in Women. Abstract
Objective. To explore the effects of perinatal cognitive-behavioral therapy on delivery mode, fetal outcome, and postpartum depression and anxiety in women. Methods. The clinical data of 88 perinatal pregnant women who came to our hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were retrospectively analyzed and grouped into the routine group and the cognitive behavioral intervention group according to different perinatal nursing methods, with 44 cases in the cognitive behavioral intervention group received by cognitive behavioral therapy, and 44 cases in the routine group obtained by routine obstetric care during the perinatal period. The anxiety of pregnant women was evaluated by the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA). The positive cooperation and negative response of the perinatal pregnant women in two groups were recorded. The trial delivery rate, mode of delivery, amount of intrapartum bleeding, neonatal Apgar score, and visual pain simulation score (VAS) within 48 hours after delivery of the pregnant women in the two groups were also recorded and compared. The incidence of depression of pregnant and lying-in women in the two groups was recorded on the 5th and 42nd day after delivery. Results. After the intervention, the anxiety score of pregnant women in the cognitive behavioral intervention group was significantly lower than that in the routine group (
). Following the intervention, the positive cooperation score of pregnant women in the cognitive behavioral intervention group was prominently higher than that in the routine group, and the negative cooperation score was observably lower than that in the routine group (
). The rate of spontaneous delivery in the cognitive behavioral intervention group was significantly higher than that in the conventional group (
), while the VAS score and blood loss in the cognitive behavioral intervention group were notably lower than those in the routine group (
). The proportion of women with EPDS score <9 points, i.e., no postpartum depression both on the 5th and 42nd day after delivery, were significantly higher than those in the routine group (
), whereas the proportion of patients with postpartum depression symptoms scored 9–13 points were markedly lower than those of the routine group (
). Conclusion. The cognitive behavioral therapy can improve the adverse physiological and psychological reactions of pregnant women with perinatal anxiety disorder, enhance the natural delivery rate and postoperative recovery, reduce the risk of neonatal asphyxia, and ensure the safety of mothers and infants in the perinatal period. Compared with routine nursing, this intervention method is more targeted and scientific, and is worthy of clinical promotion.

Abstract
Simple Summary Many individuals with cancer suffer from persistent exhaustion due to cancer therapy, known as cancer-related fatigue (CRF). Yoga, psychosocial, and mindfulness-based interventions are recommended to reduce CRF. However, it is not clear yet how interventions need to be designed to maximize their efficacy. This meta-analysis aimed to identify intervention characteristics associated with greater reductions in CRF. A total of 70 interventions with 6387 participants were included in the analysis. Our results found a positive effect of yoga, psychosocial, and mindfulness-based interventions, while all invention types revealed large differences in intervention effects. In psychosocial interventions, using a group setting and working on cognition was related to higher efficacy. Regarding yoga and mindfulness-based interventions, no specific intervention characteristics emerged as more favorable than others. Overall, this meta-analysis suggests opportunities to optimize psychosocial interventions for CRF, whereas the design of yoga and mindfulness-based interventions seems to allow for variation. Abstract Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is a burdensome sequela of cancer treatments. Besides exercise, recommended therapies for CRF include yoga, psychosocial, and mindfulness-based interventions. However, interventions conducted vary widely, and not all show a significant effect. This meta-analysis aimed to explore intervention characteristics related to greater reductions in CRF. We included randomized controlled trials published before October 2021. Standardized mean differences were used to assess intervention efficacy for CRF and multimodel inference to explore intervention characteristics associated with higher efficacy. For the meta-analysis, we included 70 interventions (24 yoga interventions, 31 psychosocial interventions, and 15 mindfulness-based interventions) with 6387 participants. The results showed a significant effect of yoga, psychosocial, and mindfulness-based interventions on CRF but with high heterogeneity between studies. For yoga and mindfulness-based interventions, no particular intervention characteristic was identified to be advantageous for reducing CRF. Regarding psychosocial interventions, a group setting and work on cognition were related to higher intervention effects on CRF. The results of this meta-analysis suggest options to maximize the intervention effects of psychosocial interventions for CRF. The effects of yoga and mindfulness-based interventions for CRF appear to be independent of their design, although the limited number of studies points to the need for further research.
