Abstract
The initiating properties of urea-formaldehyde oligomers with peroxide groups have been studied. For comparison, the initiating activity has been examined for the polymerization of styrene by the peroxide oligomer based on the epoxy oligomer Epidian-5 and tert-butyl hydroperoxide. The cross-linking properties of the urea-formaldehyde oligomers with peroxide groups have been investigated using unsaturated oligoesters as a model. The chemistry of the formation of the substances with a cross-linked structure has been studied using IR spectroscopy.

Abstract
Polymers with terminal epoxy, phosphate, fluoroalkyl groups were obtained by radical polymerization in the presence of chain transfer agents derived from isopropylbenzene. The structure of polymers was confirmed by NMR spectra and functional analysis. Polymers with functional fragment were used for synthesis of polymer-inorganic particles and copolymers with poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) fragment.

Abstract
The possibility of synthesis in the presence of tert-butyl peroxymethanol (TBPM) or tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) of urea-formaldehyde oligomers with peroxide groups (UFOP) has been considered. Zinc oxide was used as the reaction catalyst. The effect of the initial components ratio, the reaction temperature and the process time on the characteristics and yield of the obtained oligomers was studied. Methods for obtaining UFOP using a mixture of TBPM and TBHP as a component are proposed. The structure of the synthesized UFOP was confirmed by IR- and NMR-spectroscopic studies.

Abstract
New epoxide-containing peroxides have been synthesized via the interaction between epichlorohydrin and ditertiary -hydroxyalkyl peroxides. The effect of reaction conditions on both the yield and composition of the reaction products has been established. Through the reactions of either the synthesized epoxide-containing peroxides with 1,2;3,4-di-O-isopropylidene--D-galactopyranose or 6-O-glycidyl-1,2;3,4-di-O-isopropylidene--D-galactopyranose with the -hydroxyalkyl peroxides, new peroxide derivatives with ditertiary and primary-tertiary peroxide groups have been synthesized successfully. The decomposition of the developed substances has been studied by complex thermal analysis and the kinetic parameters of the thermolysis have been determined.

Abstract
A monocarboxylic derivative of Epidian-6 with free epoxy and carboxylic end groups (MCDER) has been synthesized using Epidian-6 epoxy resin and sebacic acid. The structure of MCDER was confirmed by a spectral analysis. The thermal stability of MCDER has been established and the formation of cross-linked films based on epoxy-oligomeric mixtures consisting of Epidian-5, TGM-3 oligoesteracrylate, and polyethylene polyamine has been studied in its presence. By means of IR spectroscopy, the chemistry of the mixtures formation has been established. Physico-mechanical characteristics and morphology of the epoxy-oligomeric mixture based samples which were filled with CaCO3 have been determined.

Abstract
Methods of oligomers (polymers) with hydroxy end-groups obtaining are examined. The synthesis of hydroxy-containing oligomers based on epoxy resins is of special attention. The molecules of mentioned oligomers apart from free primary and secondary hydroxy groups contain epoxy, peroxy, carboxy or acrylic groups.

Abstract
The composition of products synthesized on the basis of ED-24 epoxy resin has been studied using reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography followed by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (RP-HPLC/ESI-MS). The synthesized products contain free hydroxy groups and such groups, as epoxy, peroxy, carboxy or acrylate.
