Abstract
Background Cervical cancer (CC) is the fourth leading cause of death among cancer cases and women intimate partner violence (IPV) survivors are more likely to experience CC-related mortality. This study aims to evaluate the factors influencing CC screening uptake among reproductive-aged women, especially among IPV survivors in the Philippines. Method We used the 2022 Philippines' National Demographic and Health Survey. The outcome variable was undergoing CC screening. The independent variables were different types of IPV, sociodemographic characteristics (age groups, place of residency, education level, wealth quintile, marital status, religion, employment), and other important variables (number of sexual partners, number of children, and access to health care). Descriptive statistics and multivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to examine influencing factors of CC screening. Method The results revealed that approximately 10% (n = 1,648) of the women who participated in the survey had screened for CC. The results showed that women who experienced at least one type of IPV (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] = 1.32, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.08-1.62), aged 45-49 years (aOR = 6.42, 95% CI = 2.60-15.54), higher education (aOR = 14.26, 95% CI = 3.28-61.99), wealthier (aOR = 3.46, 95% CI = 2.54-4.72), having current employment (aOR = 1.30, 95% CI = 1.08-1.57), and having more than five lifetime sexual partners (aOR = 3.16, 95% CI =1.00-9.97), were more likely to undergo CC screening than their counterparts. Conclusion Future CC screening initiatives should prioritize women with lower educational and socioeconomic backgrounds to effectively bridge the gaps in health disparities.

Abstract
This scoping review synthesizes literature to examine the extent of research focusing on knowledge, awareness, perceptions, attitudes, and risky behaviors related to sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in Southeast Asia (SEA). The PRISMA-Scoping approach was adopted targeting articles published from 2018 to 2022, sought from CINALH, PubMed, Web of Science and Scopus. A process of screening and elimination resulted in a total of 70 articles reviewed. Most of the studies were conducted in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with the majority focusing on HIV/AIDS. In general, studies examining knowledge, awareness, and risky behaviors related to STIs in SEA reported low levels across various cohorts. However, evidence suggests that these issues are more prominent among individuals with low levels of education or low socioeconomic status, those living in rural areas or those working in the sex/industrial sectors. Engaging in unsafe sex and having multiple partners are the key examples for risky sexual behavior, while fear of being rejected/discriminated/stigmatized and lacking STI awareness were identified as social risky behaviors in SEA. Overall, cultural, societal, economic and gender inequality (male dominance) greatly impact people's knowledge, awareness, perceptions, attitudes, and risky behaviors in SEA. Education is an important factor influencing healthy behavior; therefore, this scoping review calls for increased investment in educating vulnerable populations to prevent STIs, particularly in less-developed countries/regions of SEA.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Despite the introduction of cervical cancer screening and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines, the utilization pattern was not standardized. The aim of this study was to elicit the current prevention care in Asia-Oceania. METHODS An online questionnaire was circulated to different countries/cities in Asia-Oceania. The primary objective was to evaluate the coverage of HPV vaccination and cervical screening programs. The secondary objectives were to study the structures of these programs. Five case scenarios were set to understand how the respondents manage the abnormal screening results. RESULTS Fourteen respondents from 10 countries/cities had participated. Cervical cancer ranked the first in Myanmar and Nepal. About 10%-15% did not have national vaccination or screening program. The estimated coverage rate for vaccination and screening varied from less than 1% to 70%, which the coverage ran in parallel with the incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer. All regions approved HPV vaccines, although only four provided free or subsidized programs for nonavalent vaccine. Cervical cytology remained the most common screening tool, and 20%-30% relied heavily on visual inspection using acetic acid. The screening age groups varied in different regions. From the case scenarios, it was noted that some respondents tended to offer more frequent screening tests or colposcopy than recommended by international guidelines. CONCLUSION This study revealed discrepancy in the practice of cervical cancer prevention in Asia-Oceania especially access to HPV vaccines. There is an urgent need for a global collaboration to eliminate cervical cancer by public education, reforming services, and medical training.

Abstract
Cervical cancer is estimated to cause 341,831 deaths each year, with 9 of 10 deaths occurring in developing countries. Over the past decade, there has been a significant increase in cervical cancer incidence among women in the Philippines. Persistent infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) is the well-established necessary cause of cervical cancer. Based on limited studies conducted in the Philippines, the prevalence of infection with any HPV genotype was 93.8% for cervical squamous cell carcinoma and 90.9% for cervical adenocarcinomas. HPV types 16 and 18 were the most common HPV genotypes among Filipino patients with cervical cancer. On the other hand, the incidence of HPV infection among Filipino women with normal cervices was 9.2%. The World Health Organization has launched a global agenda of eliminating HPV infection by 2030. One of its key milestones is to vaccinate 90% of girls with the HPV vaccine by 15 years. However, the HPV vaccination rate among Filipino women remains to be unsatisfactory. HPV vaccination has only been included in the Philippine Department of Health's community-based National Immunization Program in 2015. Despite these efforts, the Philippines currently ranks last on HPV program coverage among low-middle income countries, with coverage of only 23% of the target female population for the first dose and 5% for the final dose. The principal reason for the non-acceptance of HPV vaccines was the perceived high cost of vaccination. The low utilization of available cervical cancer screening tests such as Pap smear and visual inspection with acetic acid hampered the Philippines' control and prevention of HPV infection and cervical cancer. Among those diagnosed with cervical cancer in the Philippines, only an estimated 50% to 60% receive some form of treatment. To this end, we summarize the burden of HPV infection and cervical cancer on Filipinos and the risk factors associated with the disease. We present the current screening, diagnostics, treatment, and prevention of HPV-related diseases in the Philippines. Lastly, we also propose solutions on how each building block in health systems can be improved to eliminate HPV infection and reduce the burden of cervical cancer in the Philippines.

Abstract
Multiple barriers impede the transformation of evidence-based research into implementation of cervical cancer screening in ASEAN countries. This review is the first of its kind to show the disease burden of cervical cancer, progress till date to implement screening and corresponding challenges, and propose tailored solutions to promote cervical cancer prevention in ASEAN. In 2020, approximately 69 000 cervical cancer cases and 38 000 deaths happened in ASEAN, and more than 44% and 63% increases on new cases and deaths are expected in 2040. Only four countries have initiated population-based cervical cancer screening programs, but the participation rate is less than 50% in some countries and even lower than 10% in Myanmar and Indonesia. Inequity and unavailability in service delivery, lack of knowledge and awareness, limited follow-up and treatment capacity, and funding sustainability affect successful scale-up of cervical cancer screening most in ASEAN. Implementing HPV detection-based primary screening, appropriate management of screen-positives, enhancing health education, integrating health services can accelerate reduction of cervical cancer burden in ASEAN. Achieving high screening coverage and high treatment compliance will help ASEAN countries remain aligned to cervical cancer elimination strategies.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Even though the government's priorities in preventing cervical cancer are implemented in urban areas, the screening rate remains unsatisfactory at 6%, compared to 70% recommended by the world health organization. The ongoing public health education has not resulted in sufficient screening rates. The study aims to assess peer-led navigation (PLNav) in promoting cervical cancer screening knowledge, intention, and practices among urban women in Tanzania. Since PLNav is the form of task shifting, it involves delegating cervical-cancer-related tasks from healthcare professionals to community health workers (CHWs). METHODS It is a community-based randomized controlled trial conducted in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania March-Sept 2020. The PLNav involved the CHWs delivering health education, counselling and navigation assistance to community women (COMW). The CHWs help women who have never undergone cervical cancer screening (CCS) and those who have undergone CCS but with a precancerous cervical lesion to overcome screening barriers. The data related to PLNav were analyzed by descriptive statistics, an independent-samples t-test, repeated measures ANOVA and linear regression. RESULTS The repeated measures ANOVA across time showed that PLNav intervention on mean knowledge score changes was statistically significant in the intervention group compared with the control group's usual care, [F (1, 43) = 56.9, P < .001]. At the six-month follow-up, 32 (72.7%) out of 44 participants from the intervention group had screened for cervical cancer, and only one participant (2.3%) from the control group screened. The PLNav intervention on CCS uptake changes was statistically significant in the intervention group compared with usual care in the control group [F (1, 43) = 100.4, P < .001]. The effect of time on CCS uptake in the intervention and control groups was statistically significant [F (1.64, 70.62) = 73.4, P < .001]. CONCLUSION Peer-led navigation (PLNav) was effective in promoting cervical cancer screening knowledge, intention, and uptake.
