Selectfluor-Mediated Benzo[d][1,2,3]Triazole Functionalisation of 4,4-Difluoro-4-Bora-3a,4a-Diaza-s-Indacene

Synthesis of 1,2,3-triazole-substituted 6,7-dihydroindolizin-8(5H)-one derivatives mediated by Selectfluor

The 1,2,3-triazole and 1 H-1,2,3-benzotriazole-substituted 6,7-dihydroindolizin-8(5 H)-one derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of ( E)-7-(arylmethylidene)-6,7-dihydroindolizin-8(5 H)-ones with 1,2,3-triazole and 1 H-1,2,3-benzotriazole in the presence of Selectfluor in moderate yield. The structures of all the products were characterized thoroughly by nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared, and high-resolution mass spectrometry together with X-ray crystallographic analysis.

An efficient 3-acylquinoline synthesis from acetophenones and anthranilviaC(sp3)–H bond activation mediated by Selectfluor

An efficient method for the synthesis of 3-functionalized quinolines from commercially available acetophenones and anthranil has been described. Selectfluor propels the C(sp³)–H bond activation of the acetophenones and aza-Michael addition of anthranil resulting in annulated 3-acylquinolines in moderate to high yields. DMSO acts not only as a solvent but also as a one carbon donor in the reaction.

An efficient method for the synthesis of 3-functionalized quinolines from acetophenones and anthranil mediated by Selectfluor was achieved.
