QUALIFLEX method for evaluating human factors in construction project management with Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic information

An integrated group decision-making method under q-rung orthopair fuzzy 2-tuple linguistic context with partial weight information

Considering the advantages of q-rung orthopair fuzzy 2-tuple linguistic set (q-RFLS), which includes both linguistic and numeric data to describe evaluations, this article aims to design a new decision-making methodology by integrating Vlsekriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) and qualitative flexible (QUALIFLEX) methods based on the revised aggregation operators to solve multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM). To accomplish this, we first revise the extant operational laws of q-RFLSs to make up for their shortcomings. Based on novel operational laws, we develop q-rung orthopair fuzzy 2-tuple linguistic (q-RFL) weighted averaging and geometric operators and provide the corresponding results. Next, we develop a maximization deviation model to determine the criterion weights in the decision-making procedure, which accounts for partial weight unknown information. Then, the VIKOR and QUALIFLEX methodologies are combined, which can assess the concordance index of each ranking combination using group utility and individual maximum regret value of alternative and acquire the ranking result based on each permutation's general concordance index values. Consequently, a case study is conducted to select the best bike-sharing recycling supplier utilizing the suggested VIKOR-QUALIFLEX MCGDM method, demonstrating the method's applicability and availability. Finally, through sensitivity and comparative analysis, the validity and superiority of the proposed method are demonstrated.

Decision analysis with IDOCRIW-QUALIFLEX approach in the 2TLq-ROF environment: An application of accident prediction models in Pakistan

In Pakistan, the assessment of road safety measures within road safety management systems is commonly seen as the most deficient part. Accident prediction models are essential for road authorities, road designers, and road safety specialists. These models facilitate the examination of safety concerns, the identification of safety improvements, and the projection of the potential impact of these modifications in terms of collision reduction. In the context described above, the goal of this paper is to utilize the 2-tuple linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy set (2TLq-ROFS), a new and useful decision tool with a strong ability to address uncertain or imprecise information in practical decision-making processes. In addition, for dealing with the multi-attribute group decision-making problems in road safety management, this paper proposes a new 2TLq-ROF integrated determination of objective criteria weights (IDOCRIW)-the qualitative flexible multiple criteria (QUALIFLEX) decision analysis method with a weighted power average (WPA) operator based on the 2TLq-ROF numbers. The IDOCRIW method is used to calculate the weight of attributes and the QUALIFLEX method is used to rank the options. To show the viability and superiority of the proposed approach, we also perform a case study on the evaluation of accident prediction models in road safety management. Finally, the results of the experiments and comparisons with existing methods are used to explain the benefits and superiority of the suggested approach. The findings of this study show that the proposed approach is more practical and compatible with other existing approaches.

Research on reliability index and failure probability of inherent defect insurance from the insurance perspective

With the continuous improvement of people 's living standards, people have put forward higher requirements for the safety and comfort of housing. Therefore, Inherent Defect Insurance, a financial method to guarantee the quality of construction projects, has also emerged. At present, China 's Inherent Defect Insurance has been gradually promoted, but its claim mechanism has not been analyzed and studied. From the perspective of construction engineering, this paper first makes a bibliometric analysis of the influencing factors of insurance claims that may be caused by construction engineering quality through VOSViewers, and the evaluation index system of inherent defects is constructed. Then, according to the influencing factors, the PSO-LSSVR model is adopted to fit the performance function of the inherent defects. Finally, based on the reliability design principle of engineering structure, the reliability index and failure probability of Inherent Defect Insurance are derived from the performance function of inherent defects. This paper also analyzes its application in insurance practice and determines the relationship between the number of insurance underwriting policies and the initial reserve of insurance at a certain risk level. This paper studies the probability of Inherent Defect Insurance by constructing the reliability model of inherent defect risks in construction quality, and analyzes the anti-risk ability of insurance companies from the perspective of claim, which provides scientific analysis methods and theoretical basis for the scientific decision-making of insurance companies.

Extended QUALIFLEX method for electronic music acoustic quality evaluation based on the picture fuzzy multiple attribute group decision making

In the past, different useful extensions of fuzzy sets were established by the researchers to manage the vagueness and uncertainty in various practical problems. Usually, the real numbers are utilized to express the decision information, but it is noted that the description of attributes using picture fuzzy sets (PFSs) proves to be more appropriate. As a powerful decision tool, PFSs provides more decision information that requires the application of some specific situations more types of response of human ideas: yes, contain, no, reject. QUALIFLEX (qualitative flexible multiple criteria method), is one of the well-known outranking methods to solve the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems with crisp numbers. The QUALIFLEX method can perfectly address the complex MAGDM problems where a lot of attributes are utilized to assess a limited number of alternatives. The electronic music acoustic quality evaluation is a classical MAGDM. This paper proposes and utilizes the QUALIFLEX to develop the picture fuzzy QUALIFLEX(PF-QUALIFLEX) method for MAGDM. The current study is mainly devoted to explore and extend the measurement of alternatives and ranking according to the QUALIFLEX under the background of PFSs. Furthermore, an example to evaluate the electronic music acoustic quality is handled through the proposed method to substantiate the extended approach.

Application of evidence reasoning algorithm and QUALIFLEX with single-valued neutrosophic set for MCDM

Multi-criteria decision-making methods often include attributes with uncertain nature in practical applications, single-valued neutrosophic set is an important approach to solve above problem. QUALIFLEX method is a traditional decision method that makes decision by comparing different permutations of alternatives. In this paper, QUALIFLEX method is developed to solve the MCDM problem with the element of decision matrix is the single-valued neutrosophic number. Besides, since the defects of the original QUALIFLEX method about fusing information of different attributes, this paper uses Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence to integrate the information about weight and alternatives. Finally, by comparing the result with other MCDM methods, we find that the new method can not only obtain reasonable results, but also explain the decision results by probability theory. This paper not only develops the traditional MCDM method, but also a meaningful attempt to apply AI algorithm in MCDM method.

A new MAGDM method with 2-tuple linguistic bipolar fuzzy Heronian mean operators

In this article, we introduce the 2-tuple linguistic bipolar fuzzy set (2TLBFS), a new strategy for dealing with uncertainty that incorporates a 2-tuple linguistic term into bipolar fuzzy set. The 2TLBFS is a better way to deal with uncertain and imprecise information in the decision-making environment. We elaborate the operational rules, based on which, the 2-tuple linguistic bipolar fuzzy weighted averaging (2TLBFWA) operator and the 2-tuple linguistic bipolar fuzzy weighted geometric (2TLBFWG) operator are presented to fuse the 2TLBF numbers (2TLBFNs). The Heronian mean (HM) operator, which can reflect the internal correlation between attributes and their influence on decision results, is integrated into the 2TLBF environment to analyze the effect of the correlation between decision factors on decision results. Initially, the generalized 2-tuple linguistic bipolar fuzzy Heronian mean (G2TLBFHM) operator and generalized 2-tuple linguistic bipolar fuzzy weighted Heronian mean (G2TLBFWHM) operator are proposed and properties are explained. Further, 2-tuple linguistic bipolar fuzzy geometric Heronian mean (2TLBFGHM) operator and 2-tuple linguistic bipolar weighted geometric Heronian mean (2TLBFWGHM) operator are proposed along with some of their desirable properties. Then, an approach to multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) based on the proposed aggregation operators under the 2TLBF framework is developed. At last, a numerical illustration is provided for the selection of the best photovoltaic cell to demonstrate the use of the generated technique and exhibit its adequacy.

TOPSIS method for spherical fuzzy MAGDM based on cumulative prospect theory and combined weights and its application to residential location

Nowadays, how to choose a comfortable and relatively satisfactory residence is one of the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) issues which people are paying more and more attention. However, since the inaccuracy and fuzziness of the information are given by decision makers (DMs) in practical decision-making and psychological factors of DMs should be considered in the decision-making process, this paper presents TOPSIS approach based on cumulative prospect theory (CPT) to deal with the MAGDM issues under the spherical fuzzy environment. Furthermore, considering the objective relationship between the attributes, the combined weights are used to get attribute weights in spherical fuzzy sets (SFSs). Finally, an example of residential location is introduced to prove the validity of our proposed approach by comparing with spherical fuzzy TOPSIS(SF-TOPSIS) method and spherical fuzzy WASPAS (SF-WASPAS) method.

Rescuing emergency cases of COVID-19 patients: An intelligent real-time MSC transfusion framework based on multicriteria decision-making methods

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have shown promising ability to treat critical cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) by regenerating lung cells and reducing immune system overreaction. However, two main challenges need to be addressed first before MSCs can be efficiently transfused to the most critical cases of COVID-19. First is the selection of suitable MSC sources that can meet the standards of stem cell criteria. Second is differentiating COVID-19 patients into different emergency levels automatically and prioritising them in each emergency level. This study presents an efficient real-time MSC transfusion framework based on multicriteria decision-making(MCDM) methods. In the methodology, the testing phase represents the ability to adhere to plastic surfaces, the upregulation and downregulation of specific surface protein markers and finally the ability to differentiate into different kinds of cells. In the development phase, firstly, two scenarios of an augmented dataset based on the medical perspective are generated to produce 80 patients with different emergency levels. Secondly, an automated triage algorithm based on a formal medical guideline is proposed for real-time monitoring of COVID-19 patients with different emergency levels (i.e. mild, moderate, severe and critical) considering the improvement and deterioration procedures from one level to another. Thirdly, a unique decision matrix for each triage level (except mild) is constructed on the basis of the intersection between the evaluation criteria of each emergency level and list of COVID-19 patients. Thereafter, MCDM methods (i.e. analytic hierarchy process [AHP] and vlsekriterijumska optimizcija i kaompromisno resenje [VIKOR]) are integrated to assign subjective weights for the evaluation criteria within each triage level and then prioritise the COVID-19 patients on the basis of individual and group decision-making(GDM) contexts. Results show that: (1) in both scenarios, the proposed algorithm effectively classified the patients into four emergency levels, including mild, moderate, severe and critical, taking into consideration the improvement and deterioration cases. (2) On the basis of experts’ perspectives, clear differences in most individual prioritisations for patients with different emergency levels in both scenarios were found. (3) In both scenarios, COVID-19 patients were prioritised identically between the internal and external group VIKOR. During the evaluation, the statistical objective method indicated that the patient prioritisations underwent systematic ranking. Moreover, comparison analysis with previous work proved the efficiency of the proposed framework. Thus, the real-time MSC transfusion for COVID-19 patients can follow the order achieved in the group VIKOR results.

CPT-MABAC-Based multiple attribute group decision making method with probabilistic hesitant fuzzy information

Facing with a sea of fuzzy information, decision makers always feel it difficult to select the optimal alternatives. Probabilistic hesitant fuzzy sets (PHFs) utilize the possible numbers and the possible membership degrees to describe the behavior of the decision makers. though this environment has been introduced to solve problems using different methods, this circumstance can still be explored by using different method. This paper’ s aim is to develop the MABAC (Multi-Attributive Border Approximation area Comparison) decision-making method which based on cumulative prospect theory (CPT) in probabilistic hesitant fuzzy environment to handle multiple attributes group decision making (MAGDM) problems. Then the weighting vector of attributes can be calculated by the method of entropy. Then, in order to show the applicability of the proposed method, it is validated by a case study for buying a house. Finally, through comparing the outcome of comparative analysis, we conclude that this designed method is acceptable.

Taxonomy-based multiple attribute group decision making method with probabilistic uncertain linguistic information and its application in supplier selection

The optimal supplier selection in medical instrument industries could be considered a classical MAGDM issue. The probabilistic uncertain linguistic term sets (PULTSs) could depict uncertain information well and the Taxonomy method is appropriate to compare various alternatives according to their merits and utility degree from studied attributes. In such paper, we develop a Taxonomy method for probabilistic uncertain linguistic MAGDM (PUL-MAGDM) with the completely unknown attribute weights. Above all, the score function’s definition is utilized to derive the weights of attribute based upon the CRITIC method. In addition, the probabilistic uncertain linguistic development pattern (PULDP) is improved and the smallest development attribute value from the positive ideal solution under PULTSs is calculated to determine the optimal alternative. In the end, taking the supplier selection in medical instrument industries as an example, we demonstrate the usage of the developed algorithms. Based on this, the comparison of methods is conducted with existing methods, such as PUL-TOPSIS method, the PULWA operator, the PUL-EDAS method and the ULWA operator. The results verify that the decision-making framework is valid and effective for supplier selection. Thus, the advantage of this designed method is that it is simple to understand and easy to compute. The designed method can also contribute to the selection of suitable alternative successfully in other selection issues.

Grey relational analysis method based on cumulative prospect theory for intuitionistic fuzzy multi-attribute group decision making

The Multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem is an interesting everyday problem full of complexity and ambiguity. As an extended form of fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) can provide decision-makers (DMs) with a wider range of preferences for MAGDM. The grey relational analysis (GRA) is an effective method for dealing with MAGDM problems. However, in view of the incomplete and asymmetric information and the influence of DMs’ psychological factors on the decision result, we develop a new model that GRA method based on cumulative prospect theory (CPT) under the intuitionistic fuzzy environment. Moreover, the weight of attribute is calculated by entropy weight, so as to distinguish the importance level of attributes, which greatly improves the credibility of the selected scheme. simultaneously, the proposed method is used to the selection of optimal green suppliers for testifying the availability of this new model and the final comparison between this new method and the existing methods further verify the reliability. In addition, the proposed method provides some references for other selection problems.

Research on teaching quality evaluation of college english based on the CODAS method under interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information

With the rapid development of China’s economic globalization in the new era, the demand for English majors is obviously on the rise, which puts forward new and higher requirements for application-oriented undergraduate colleges to train compound English majors. However, from the perspective of teaching quality evaluation of English majors in application-oriented undergraduate colleges, the results are not optimistic. Therefore, it is an important task for higher education research in China to explore the problems existing in the process of teaching quality evaluation for English majors in application-oriented undergraduate colleges and how to better train qualified and versatile talents for English majors to adapt to the economic and social development in the new era. The teaching quality evaluation of college English is frequently viewed as a multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM). Thus, a novel MAGDM method is used to tackle it. Depending on the conventional CODAS method and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs), this paper designs a novel distance based IVIF-CODAS method to assess the teaching quality evaluation of college English. First of all, a related literature review is conducted. What’s more, some necessary theories related to IVIFSs are briefly reviewed. In addition, since subjective randomness frequently exists in determining criteria weights, the weights of criteria is decided objectively by utilizing CRITIC method. Afterwards, relying on novel distance measures between IVIFSs, the conventional CODAS method is extended to the IVIFSs to calculate assessment score of every alternative. Therefore, all alternatives can be ranked and the one with the best teaching quality. Eventually, an application about teaching quality evaluation of college English and some comparative methods have been employed to show the superiority of the developed method. The results illustrate that the defined framework is very useful for assessing the teaching quality of college English.

Some self-evaluation models of enterprise’s credit based on some probabilistic double hierarchy linguistic aggregation operators

Probabilistic double hierarchy linguistic term set (PDHLTS) can not only express the complex linguistic information that the probabilistic linguistic term set (PLTS) cannot express, but also reflect the frequency or importance of linguistic term set (LTS)that cannot be reflected by the double hierarchy linguistic term set (DHLTS). It is an effective tool to deal with multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems. Therefore, in this paper, we propose several aggregation operators which can aggregate PDHLTS information and apply them to MAGDM problems. Firstly, the basic notion of PDHLTS is reviewed, and the distance formula and algorithm of PDHLTS are defined; then, extant weighted averaging (WA) operator, weighted geometric(WG) operator and power weighted averaging (PWA) operator, power weighted geometric(PWG) operator to PDHLTS, and establish probability double hierarchy linguistic weighted averaging (PDHLWA) operator, probability double hierarchy linguistic weighted geometric (PDHLWG) operator, probability double hierarchy linguistic power weighted averaging (PDHLPWA) operator, probability double hierarchy linguistic power weighted geometric (PDHLPWG) operator; in addition, The idempotency, boundedness and monotonicity of these aggregation operators are studied; what’s more, those aggregation operators are proposed to establish the enterprise credit self-evaluation model; Finally, compared with the available probabilistic double hierarchy linguistic MAGDM methods, the defined model is proved to be scientific and effective.

CPT-TODIM method for picture fuzzy multiple attribute group decision making and its application to food enterprise quality credit evaluation

With the development of society, people’s living standard is constantly improving. Meanwhile, people need various food to satisfy their needs in daily life. Under this situation, more and more food enterprises are appearing in the market. However, some issues about food safety come out. Because of the huge number of food company, managers are difficult in achieving profitability. Therefore, some of the managers try to use some unhealthy materials to produce food in the society. So, it is important for people to distinguish healthy and unhealthy food enterprises in their daily life. In order to help government discern and control the quality of healthy food enterprises in the market, we need to propose an effective evaluation system in estimating food enterprises. In this paper, we introduce a method of evaluating the quality degree of food enterprises which can help us to distinguish enterprises effectively. As we all know, the method of TODIM is widely used in multiple attribute decision making (MADM). In this article, we describe the extended TODIM which based on the cumulative prospect theory (CPT) with picture fuzzy numbers (PF-CPT-TODIM) and use it to evaluate food companies. What’s more, we use entropy method to decide the weights of various attributes. Finally, we select optimal enterprise by using the PF-CPT-TODIM method. Furthermore, we use the comparison of the results of classical PF-TODIM method and PFWA operators to test the availability of PF-CPT-TODIM. It not only can enrich decision-making methods but also make up for the traditional PF-TODIM method in considering the psychological aspects of decision makers.
