Abstract
For the first time, biocompatible and biodegradable Ta-metal organic framework (MOF)/polyether block amide (PEBA) fibrous polymeric nanostructures were synthesized by ultrasonic and electrospinning routes in this study. The XRD peaks of products were wider, which is due to the significant effect of the ultrasonic and electrospinning methods on the final product. The adsorption/desorption behavior of the nanostructures is similar to that of the third type of isotherm series, which showed mesoporous behavior for the products. The sample has uniform morphology without any evidence of agglomeration. Since the adsorption and trapping of gaseous pollutants are very important, the application of the final Ta-MOF/PEBA fibrous polymeric nanostructures was investigated for CH4 adsorption. In order to achieve the optimal conditions of experiments and also systematic studies of the parameters, fractional factorial design was used. The results showed that by selecting temperature 40°C, time duration 35 min, and pressure 3 bar, the CH4 gas adsorption rate was near 4 mmol/g. Ultrasonic and electrospinning routes as well as immobilization of Ta-MOF in the PEBA fibrous network affect the performance of the final products for CH4 gas adsorption.

The Nuclear Magnetic Flowmeter for Monitoring the Consumption and Composition of Oil and Its Complex Mixtures in Real-Time. ENERGIES 2022. Abstract
The necessity of increasing the efficiency of primary oil purification in a drilling station or an offshore platform has been substantiated. We consider the problems that arise during the primary processing of oil mixtures. Important conditions for increasing the efficiency of primary purification (separation) of oil mixtures include measuring the consumption and determining the content of various impurities (water, undissolved particles) and air in them, with an error of no more than 2%. We analyzed the possibilities of using various designs of flowmeters to measure the consumption of the oil mixture coming from a well. It is also necessary to use other measuring instruments to control the state of this mixture, which creates additional problems (searching for an appropriate locations to place them, providing the required operating conditions). Various designs of nuclear magnetic flowmeters–relaxometers were considered, making it possible to measure the consumption of a liquid medium and its times of longitudinal T1 and transverse T2 relaxation with one device. The measured values of T1 and T2 determine the state of the medium. The design of the industrial nuclear magnetic flowmeter–relaxometer M-Phase 5000, which is used to control the flow and quality of oil and oil products, was considered in more detail. Problems were identified that did not allow using this design of a nuclear magnetic flowmeter–relaxometer in a drilling rig or offshore platform. A new design of a nuclear magnetic flowmeter–relaxometer was developed, implementing the methods for measuring q, T1, and T2. These methods and various technical solutions make it possible to use this device at a drilling station or offshore platform. The measurement errors of the consumption q, T1, and T2 were determined. The results of various media studies are presented and compared with q, T1, and T2 measurements on other devices and measured volume (to confirm the adequacy of q measurements). The application scopes of the developed nuclear magnetic flowmeter–relaxometer were determined, in addition to the systems of primary oil processing.

Abstract
Herb medicines are popular for safe application due to being a source of natural herbs. However, how to deliver them in an efficacious and convenient manner poses a big challenge to researchers. In this study, a new concept is demonstrated that the electrospun polymer-based hybrid films can be a platform for promoting the delivery of a mixture of active herb extract, i.e., Lianhua Qingwen Keli (LQK), also a commercial traditional Chinese patent medicine. The LQK can be co-dissolved with the filament-forming polymeric polyvinylpyrrolidone K60 and a sweeter sucralose to prepare an electrospinnable solution. A handheld electrospinning apparatus was explored to transfer the solution into solid nanofibers, i.e., the LQK-loaded medicated films. These films were demonstrated to be composed of linear nanofibers. A puncher was utilized to transfer the mat into circular membrane a diameter of 15 mm. Two self-created methods were developed for disclosing the dissolution performances of the electrospun mats. Both the water droplet experiments and the wet paper (mimic tongue) experiments verified that the hybrid films can rapidly disintegrate when they encounter water and release the loaded LQK in an immediate manner. Based on the reasonable selections of polymeric excipients, the present protocols pave a way for delivering many types of active herb extracts in an effective and convenient manner.

Abstract
Nanomaterials for air filtration have been studied by researchers for decades. Owing to the advantages of high porosity, small pore size, and good connectivity, nanofiber membranes prepared by electrospinning technology have been considered as an outstanding air-filter candidate. To satisfy the requirements of material functionalization, electrospinning can provide a simple and efficient one-step process to fabricate the complex structures of functional nanofibers such as core-sheath structures, Janus structures, and other multilayered structures. Additionally, as a nanoparticle carrier, electrospun nanofibers can easily achieve antibacterial properties, flame-retardant properties, and the adsorption properties of volatile gases, etc. These simple and effective approaches have benefited from the significate development of electrospun nanofibers for air-filtration applications. In this review, the research progress on electrospun nanofibers as air filters in recent years is summarized. The fabrication methods, filtration performances, advantages, and disadvantages of single-polymer nanofibers, multipolymer composite nanofibers, and nanoparticle-doped hybrid nanofibers are investigated. Finally, the basic principles of air filtration are concluded upon and prospects for the application of complex-structured nanofibers in the field of air filtration are proposed.

Abstract
Monolayer 2H-MoS2 has been widely noticed as a typical transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC) for surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). However, monolayer MoS2 is limited to a narrow range of applications due to poor detection sensitivity caused by the combination of a lower density of states (DOS) near the Fermi energy level as well as a rich fluorescence background. Here, surfaced S and Mo atomic defects are fabricated on a monolayer MoS2 with a perfect lattice. Defects exhibit metallic properties. The presence of defects enhances the interaction between MoS2 and the detection molecule, and it increases the probability of photoinduced charge transfer (PICT), resulting in a significant improvement of Raman enhancement. Defect-containing monolayer MoS2 enables the fluorescence signal of many dyes to be effectively burst, making the SERS spectrum clearer and making the limits of detection (LODs) below 10−8 M. In conclusion, metallic defect-containing monolayer MoS2 becomes a promising and versatile substrate capable of detecting a wide range of dye molecules due to its abundant DOS and effective PICT resonance. In addition, the synergistic effect of surface defects and of the MoS2 main body presents a new perspective for plasma-free SERS based on the chemical mechanism (CM), which provides promising theoretical support for other TMDC studies.
