Abstract
•AO dissections may rupture into the PA, and a linear dissection may be seen with TEE. •3D TEE is a useful supplement to 2D TEE and helps in making a comprehensive assessment. •3D TEE en face view helps in differentiating a linear dissection from a linear artifact.
