Abstract
Neuroscience research has provided evidence that semantic information is stored in a distributed brain network involved in sensorimotor and linguistic processing. More specifically, according to the embodied cognition accounts, the representation of concepts is deemed as grounded in our bodily states. For these reasons, normative measures of words should provide relevant information about the extent to which each word embeds perceptual and action properties. In the present study, we collected ratings for 959 Italian nouns and verbs from 398 volunteers, recruited via an online platform. The words were mostly taken from the Italian adaptation of the Affective Norms for English Words (ANEW). A pool of 145 verbs was added to the original set. All the words were rated on 11 sensorimotor dimensions: six perceptual modalities (vision, audition, taste, smell, touch, and interoception) and five effectors (hand-arm, foot-leg, torso, mouth, head). The new verbs were also rated on the ANEW dimensions. Results showed good reliability and consistency with previous studies. Relations between perceptual and motor dimensions are described and interpreted, along with relations between the sensorimotor and the affective dimensions. The currently developed dataset represents an important novelty, as it includes different word classes, i.e., both nouns and verbs, and integrates ratings of both sensorimotor and affective dimensions, along with other psycholinguistic parameters; all features only partially accomplished in previous studies.

Abstract
Cryogenic electron microscopy (cryoEM) has emerged as a revolutionary method for solving high-resolution structures and studying the dynamics of macromolecular complexes and viruses in near-native states. However, the availability of the equipment, and the time and cost needed for training, severely limit the opportunities for training. To solve these problems, a virtual reality-based training system, CryoVR, has been developed to prepare trainees before operating real-world cryoEM equipment. This paper describes the design and assessment of CryoVR (available at https://www.purdue.edu/cryoVR), which helps users learn cryoEM experimental procedures in a virtual environment, allowing immersive training with step-by-step tutorials with vivid visual, audio and text guidance. Implemented as a training step before a novice user interacts with the expensive real-world cryoEM equipment, CryoVR can help users to become familiar with hands-on operational procedures through multiple training modules and earning certificates after passing the built-in Exam mode. Qualitative evaluation and feedback of CryoVR from users with various levels of cryoEM experience indicate the substantial value of CryoVR as a tool for a comprehensive cryoEM procedural training.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyse the virtual reality applications in the subjects' neuro-psychomotor functions rehabilitation with motor and/or neuropsychiatric impairment. METHODS The search was carried out in nine databases (Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, PsycINFO, LILACS, and SciELO), from December 2017 to March 2019. An additional manual search was performed, taking into consideration references of the included papers, through the same eligibility criteria. The methodological quality of the included papers was evaluated using the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro). RESULTS One hundred and twenty-two papers were selected by the initial screening, but only 33 studies participated in the final inclusion in the study (11 clinical trials and 14 experimental studies). The data extracted were: the proposed objective, the sample population, the neurological condition treated, the VR modality used in the procedures and the study intervention period. CONCLUSIONS Virtual reality supports the rehabilitation process of neuro-psychomotor functions, allowing potential gains in the patients' recovery. Therefore, its development facilitates its availability and access in the future.Implications for rehabilitationIt has minimal adverse effects during the virtual therapies performance, such as the presence of vertigo related to cybersickness conditions, suggesting virtual reality as a safe rehabilitation tool, compared to other therapies.Virtual reality use is useful and effective in helping the rehabilitation process of motor, cognitive and psychosocial functions.It plays a role as an adjunctive and complementary therapy in the neuro-psychomotor rehabilitation process to obtain a clinically significant result.

Abstract
Embodied cognition studies have shown motor resonance during action language processing, indicating that linguistic representations are at least partially multimodal. However, constraints of this activation linked to linguistic and extra-linguistic context, function and timing have not yet been fully explored. Importantly, embodied cognition binds social and physical contexts to cognition, suggesting that more ecologically valid contexts will yield more valid measures of cognitive processing. Herein, we measured cortical motor activation during language processing in a fully immersive Cave automatic virtual environment (CAVE). EEG was recorded while participants engaged in a Go/No-Go task. They heard action verbs and, for Go trials, performed a corresponding action on a virtual object. ERSP (event-related spectral perturbation) was calculated during verb processing, corresponding to the pattern of power suppression (event-related desynchronization - ERD) and enhancement (event-related synchronization - ERS) relative to the reference interval. Significant ERD emerged during verb processing in both the µ (8-13 Hz) and beta band (20-30 Hz) for both Go and No-Go trials. µ ERD emerged in the 400-500 msec time window, associated with lexical-semantic processing. Greater µ ERD emerged for Go compared to No-Go trials. The present results provide compelling evidence in a naturalistic setting of how motor and linguistic processes interact.
