Abstract
Skin metastasis from ovarian cancer is rare, and its prognosis is poor. Effective therapeutic strategies are currently lacking, but the combination of various treatment methods shrink the tumor and relieve symptoms. The present study reports a rare case of advanced ovarian cancer with skin metastases and intestinal wall thickening, along with a BRCA1 DNA repair associated (BRCA1) mutation. After standard first-line treatment and non-standard second-line treatment, the patient developed skin metastases. The patient's skin itching, pain and lesions were completely relieved after administering bevacizumab in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin. After 4 months, skin metastases recurred along with anal distension during maintenance treatment with oral poly(ADP ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors. The patient was treated again with bevacizumab combined with docetaxel, and the anal distension was significantly relieved. Angiogenesis therapy combined with chemotherapy is effective, but that the disease-free survival time is short, and PARP inhibitor maintenance effect is limited even in cases with a BRCA1 gene mutation.

Abstract
Introduction Skin metastases arise in 10% of cancer patients, but standardized dermoscopy diagnostic criteria for skin metastases remain poor. This study's objective was to analyze the dermoscopy features of skin metastases from advanced systemic and cutaneous cancers. Methods A retrospective study on 715 dermoscopy images of skin metastases from 33 patients with various primary cancers (breast, ovary, melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancer, and chronic leukemia) attending two academic centers between 2013 and 2023 was performed. Four independent observers blindly analyzed patterns, colors, vessels, and elementary lesions for each metastasis (30 parameters in total). Results The structureless white pattern was the most prominent indicator of cutaneous metastasis (81.26%, p < 0.001). Regardless of the primary tumor, colors pink, red, white, and tan were identified. Elementary lesions were infrequent, except for melanoma metastases that displayed dots (13.23%) and globules (11.11%). Breast cancer metastases presented: blue (41.48%) and red (34.32%) colors, irregular vessels (13.58%), and a blue-naevus pattern (22.22%). Melanoma metastases displayed: a blue-naevus pattern (61.38%), a blue color (85.71%), and a structureless-blue combination pattern (79.37%). Non-melanoma skin cancer metastases were characterized by vascular (42.11%) and angioma-like (31.58%) patterns, pink (57.89%) and red (57.89%) colors, irregular (57.89%), thin hairpin (47.37%), comma (47, 37%), and thick hairpin (26, 32%) vessels and a red, white and irregular vessels combination pattern (52, 63%). A pink structureless combination pattern was frequent (61.05%) in chronic leukemia metastases. Ovarian cancer metastases displayed a white and tan structureless combination pattern (100%) and frequently had dotted vessels (42.85%). Conclusion Papules and nodules with a white structureless pattern suggest skin metastases, regardless of the primary tumor. A blue structureless lesion is indicative of melanoma metastasis and a vascular pattern with irregular vessels indicates a non-melanoma skin cancer metastasis. Dermoscopy stands as a reliable non-invasive diagnostic method for suspected cutaneous metastases in patients with a known cancer history.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women, the highest mortality being found in low- and middle-income countries. Abdominal parietal metastases in cervical cancer are a very rare entity, with an incidence of 0.1-1.3%, and represent an unfavorable prognostic factor with the survival rate falling to 17%. Here, we present a review of cases of abdominal parietal metastasis in recent decades, including a new case of a 4.5 cm abdominal parietal metastasis at the site of the scar of the former drain tube 28 months after diagnosis of stage IIB cervical cancer (adenosquamous carcinoma), treated by external radiotherapy with concurrent chemotherapy and intracavitary brachytherapy and subsequent surgery (type B radical hysterectomy). The tumor was resected within oncological limits with the histopathological result of adenosquamous carcinoma. The case study highlights the importance of early detection and appropriate treatment of metastases in patients with cervical cancer. The discussion explores the potential pathways for parietal metastasis and the impact of incomplete surgical procedures on the development of metastases. The conclusion emphasizes the poor prognosis associated with this type of metastasis in cervical cancer patients and the potential benefits of surgical resection associated with systemic therapy in improving survival rates.

Abstract
ABSTRACT Ovarian cancer with cutaneous metastases is quite rare. We report the findings of cutaneous metastases from ovarian cancer on 68 Ga-FAPI PET/CT imaging. A 53-year-old woman with cutaneous metastases from ovarian cancer was enrolled in 68 Ga-FAPI PET/CT clinical trial. The images showed intense FAPI activity in the known cutaneous metastases.

Abstract
Purpose Umbilical metastasis, known as Sister Mary Joseph's nodule (SMJN), is a manifestation of advanced malignant disease. Patients with SMJN usually require supportive care or palliative systemic chemotherapy. However, with the increasing number of older and infirm patients, radiation therapy for SMJN is needed more frequently. Therefore, we conducted this review to provide insights into radiation treatment for this rare condition. Methods and Materials We searched PubMed on October 16, 2022, and obtained 275 articles that described SMJN or metastatic tumors within or near the umbilicus, as well as 255 case reports or case series (298 patients) and 20 reviews, original articles, or other study types, 1 of which also described a case. Results The prognosis of patients with SMJN is extremely poor. However, some patients can survive for more than 2 years. The primary organs of the umbilical metastasis are mainly in the gastrointestinal tract, including the stomach, colon, and pancreas. In addition to these organs, the ovaries, uterine corpus, and breasts are the major organs affected in women. Metastasis may be divided into 4 types according to the tumor location and mechanism of the extension: within the umbilicus, not within although existing near or adjacent to the umbilicus, in the umbilical or paraumbilical hernia sac, and iatrogenic disease. Only 7 reports described patients who received radiation therapy in detail. The patients were divided into 2 groups: a relatively long course and high total dose (approximately 45 Gy) group, and a short course and low total dose group. Conclusions Umbilical metastasis, known as SMJN, is a rare disease and is divided into 4 types based on the location of the disease and extent mechanism. Although the prognosis of the disease is poor, some patients survive for more than 2 years. Only 7 case reports precisely described radiation therapy. Half of the patients were treated with a short course, whereas the other half were treated with relatively high doses of up to 45 Gy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND A Sister Mary Joseph nodule (SMJN) is an uncommon cutaneous metastasis found in the umbilicus, indicating an advanced malignancy. SMJNs typically originate from intra-abdominal sources, rarely from breast cancer. Diagnosis suggests a poor prognosis with a median survival of approximately 8 mo after detection. Managing patients with SMJNs is challenging, as most receive limited palliative care only. The optimal strategy for long-term survival of these patients remains unclear. CASE SUMMARY A 58-year-old female, previously diagnosed with right breast cancer 17 years ago and underwent breast-conserving surgery, adjuvant radiotherapy, and endocrine therapy, presented with a 2-cm umbilical nodule. Thirteen years previously, metastases were detected in the right supraclavicular, infraclavicular, hilar, and mediastinal lymph nodes. An umbilical nodule emerged four years before the date of presentation, confirmed as a skin metastasis of primary breast cancer upon excisional biopsy. Despite initial removal, the nodule recurred and grew, leading to her referral to our hospital. The patient underwent extensive excision of the umbilical tumor and immediate abdominal wall reconstruction. Endocrine therapy was continued postoperatively. Five years later, no local recurrence was observed, and the patient continued to work full-time, achieving over 9 years of survival following SMJN diagnosis. CONCLUSION This case study aimed to identify the optimal strategy for achieving extended survival outcomes in patients with SMJN through comprehensive treatment. We presented a case of the longest survival in a patient after undergoing a multidisciplinary treatment regimen. Our findings underscore the significance of adopting a multimodal treatment approach comprising timely and wide excision along with adjunctive therapy. This approach can control the disease, prolong survival, and improve the quality of life in patients with SMJN.

Abstract
Cutaneous metastases of ovarian cancer are rare and often have poor prognosis. We report a case of a 62-year-old woman with recurrent low-grade serous ovarian cancer, who presented with lung, brain, and multiple skin (nasal and anterior chest wall) metastases approximately six months after the initial diagnosis. In this case, Nijmegen breakage syndrome carrier status caused by RAD50 heterozygous mutation and previous bevacizumab therapy could be the predisposing factor for cutaneous metastases. The patient was treated with local radiotherapy (nasal skin and brain, 30Gy/6f/1.2W) and three courses of chemotherapy with albumin-bound paclitaxel and carboplatin, resulting in drastic remission of the cutaneous metastases. Unfortunately, treatment interruption resulted in rapid tumor progression, followed by death. This case represents an interesting example of cutaneous metastasis of ovarian cancer with rare clinical manifestations, unique genetic mutations, and reasonable response to treatment. Chemoradiotherapy might be an appropriate option for cutaneous metastases of ovarian cancer. Nevertheless, we still hope to find out the best treatment strategy after collecting and reviewing more cases in the future.

Abstract
Metastatic cutaneous ovarian carcinoma is a rare diagnosis with a poor prognosis. Cutaneous manifestations are variable in size and morphology. We report a woman presenting with cutaneous ovarian metastases mimicking reticulated dermatoses. Our patient presented with a four-month history of a mildly pruritic eruption in the setting of stage IV ovarian adenocarcinoma, for which she was undergoing carboplatin, doxorubicin, and bevacizumab chemotherapy. On exam, she had erythematous, indurated papules and plaques involving the right flank and breast, as well as a reticulated erythematous patch on the lower abdomen. Cutaneous ovarian metastases have varied presentations. Our case highlights an uncommon manifestation of ovarian metastases and reviews the prior literature.

Abstract
Ovarian cancer is one of the deadliest tumors among women. It mostly metastasizes to the liver, pleura, lungs, and bones. We present a sixty-six-year-old patient with skin lesions. The patient who underwent biopsy due to skin lesions was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) performed for metastasis search shows widespread skin involvement, especially in the lower abdomen and legs. Skin involvement it ovarian cancer can be rarely seen, and in this article we would like to share 18F-FDG PET/MRI of skin involvement in ovarian cancer.

Abstract
This case report, written with the assistance of ChatGPT, describes a rare manifestation of ovarian serous carcinoma that metastasized to the skin. A 30-year-old female with a history of stage IV low-grade serous ovarian carcinoma presented for evaluation of a painful nodule on her back. Physical examination demonstrated a round, firm, mobile subcutaneous nodule on the left upper back. An excisional biopsy was performed, and histopathologic examination was consistent with metastatic ovarian serous carcinoma. This case highlights the clinical presentation, histopathology, and treatment of cutaneous metastasis of serous ovarian carcinoma. Additionally, this case highlights the value and technique of using ChatGPT to assist in writing medical case reports including outlining, referencing, summarizing studies, and formatting citations.

Abstract
Skin metastasis of ovarian cancer is extremely rare. We report an unusual case of ovarian carcinosarcoma with cutaneous metastasis of carcinomatous component that displayed distinct clinical manifestation. A 48-year-old woman presented to the dermatologist complaining of a new onset of erythematous, plaque-like skin rash with multiple small nodules on the left inner thigh, the area measuring 8 × 5cm. While the patient had no history of dermatologic conditions, she underwent a total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, omentectomy, and lymph node dissection 16 months ago with a pathology confirmed stage IIIC ovarian carcinosarcoma. Of note, the carcinomatous component, mainly adenocarcinoma with hybrid features of seromucinous, endometrioid and minor high-grade serous carcinoma, involved bilateral fallopian tubes, omentum, and parametrium with extensive lymph node metastases. A skin biopsy specimen revealed an adenocarcinoma involving epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue with nodular contours, consistent with metastatic carcinomatous component of carcinosarcoma. Both carcinomatous component of primary ovarian carcinosarcoma and metastatic adenocarcinoma in the skin demonstrated Pax8, WT-1, and ER positivity and a mutation pattern of p53. The patient passed away 15 months after identification of skin metastasis. This case represents a unique example of cutaneous metastasis of ovarian carcinosarcoma with distinct clinical manifestation and detailed histopathological description. Alertness to the possibility of cutaneous metastasis, in combination with clinical history, morphological and immunohistochemical findings, is critical for a definitive classification.

Abstract
Peritoneal tumors are very uncommon and among them, primary peritoneal clear cell carcinoma is extremely rare and often misdiagnosed as others subtypes. There are only 13 cases of primary peritoneal clear cell carcinoma previously reported in the literature and there are no reports about cutaneous metastasis in this setting and only brain metastases were described to be associated with other primary peritoneal carcinoma subtypes. More information about this topic is needed and so we are presenting a new case of primary peritoneal clear cell carcinoma with cutaneous and cerebral metastases in a 34-year-old female.

Abstract
Cutaneous metastasis can rarely be the first manifestation of visceral malignancies and is commonly seen in advanced-stage malignancies. It is infrequently seen in patients with ovarian malignancies and may develop either late in the course of the disease or at the initial presentation. Such cases are often associated with poor prognosis, and a prompt, precise tissue diagnosis is essential for appropriate patient management and better clinical outcome. Herein, we present a case of cutaneous metastasis in a young woman with an undiagnosed abdominopelvic mass that was diagnosed as metastatic high-grade serous carcinoma (HGSC) on fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) supplemented by immunocytochemistry (ICC) on the cell block. The index case documents a unique and rare metastatic presentation of ovarian HGSC, as non-Sister Mary Joseph anterior abdominal wall nodule, at the initial presentation. Additionally, it highlights the utility of minimally-invasive FNA combined with ICC in prompt and accurate preoperative diagnosis of an underlying ovarian malignancy.

Abstract
Introduction: Cutaneous metastasis is an uncommon manifestation that mostly occurs in patients with previous gastrointestinal or gynecological malignancies. Local recurrence usually can be seen in surgical incisions. Dysgerminomas are rare ovarian tumors that usually have local invasions, but metastases are infrequent. Here, we described a case of dysgerminoma and cutaneous metastasis in the surgical incision. Case Presentation: The patient was a 39-year-old woman previously known as ovarian dysgerminoma, who had undergone surgery one year ago. Ultrasound examination a year after surgery showed a 35 × 33 millimeters hypoechoic solid tumor in the left ovary and another 3 masses with similar echo pattern and vascularity were found in the surgical incision. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings were compatible with cutaneous metastasis of pervious dysgerminoma. Pathologic evaluation and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) confirmed dysgerminoma's skin metastasis. She received chemotherapy due to the recurrence of malignancy. Conclusions: Local recurrence and metastases (even in the skin) should be kept in mind and the clinician must examine the surgical site skin in patients with a history of malignancy.

Abstract
Background: Cutaneous metastasis (CM) is a rare manifestation of cancer. The estimated rate of CM in ovarian cancers is about 3.5%, with a median survival of about four months after the occurrence of CM. Case report: We report the case of a 65-year-old woman with stage IA G3 adenocarcinoma clear cells (WT1+,estr-) of the ovary presenting with umbilical CM after laparoscopic incisional hernia repair. Conclusion: A primary tumour spread to the skin typically occurs late in the course of the disease. The overall incidence of CM from visceral neoplasia is 5.3% and 3%-4% from ovarian cancer.

Abstract
Bromodomain PHD finger transcription factor (BPTF) is a core subunit of the nucleosome-remodeling factor (NURF) complex, which plays an important role in the development of several cancers. However, it is unknown whether BPTF regulates the progression of ovarian cancer (OC). To investigate this, we measured the relative expression levels of BPTF in OC cell lines and tissues using Western blot and immunohistochemistry, respectively, and the results were analyzed using the χ2 test. We also examined the effects from BPTF knockdown on the proliferation, migration, invasiveness, and apoptosis of OC cell lines. Mechanistic studies revealed that these effects were achieved through simultaneous modulation of multiple signaling pathways. We found that BPTF was highly expressed in OC cell lines and tissues compared with a normal human ovarian epithelial cell line and non-cancerous tissues (P < 0.05). These results are also supported by the public RNA-seq data. BPTF overexpression was correlated with a poor prognosis for OC patient survival (P < 0.05). In vitro experiments revealed that the downregulation of BPTF inhibited OC cell proliferation, colony formation, migration, and invasiveness, and induced apoptosis. BPTF knockdown also affected the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) signaling pathways and induced the cleavage of apoptosis-related proteins. Consequently, BPTF plays a critical role in OC cell survival, and functions as a potential therapeutic target for OC.

Abstract
Ovarian cancer (OC) metastasizes cutaneous in up to 6% of cases. Cutaneous metastasis to the vulva is rare; with only one prior report in the literature. Resection of cutaneous metastasis offers symptom relief as well as a potential survival benefit. Molecular tumor profiling should be employed to expand therapy options.
