Abstract
Statement of the Problem Successful endodontic treatment depends on three-dimensional (3D) root canal filling to prevent the leakage of residual bacteria. Different obturation techniques with different sealers should be compared by employing advanced assessment tools. Purpose This study compared the obturation quality of warm vertical compaction (WVC) and two different single-cone (SC) techniques using micro-computed tomography (micro-CT). Materials and Method Thirty-three extracted maxillary molars with mesial root canal curvature of 20‒40º were prepared in vitro with One-Curve files and randomly assigned to three groups (n=11) for root canal obturation with WVC, SC technique with AH Plus sealer (SC-AH), or SC technique with SureSeal bioceramic (BC) sealer (SC-Su). The root canals underwent micro-CT examinations before and after obturation to determine the volume percentages (VPs) of voids and gaps at different distances from the apex (coronal, middle, and apical thirds). Data were analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests. Results The highest VP of voids and gaps was recorded in the SC-Su group, with no significant difference from other groups (p> 0.05). There were significant differences in VP of gaps at different distances from the apex (p<0.05). The VPs of gaps in the apical third of all the samples were significantly higher than in the coronal and middle thirds. However, the difference in VP of voids was not significant at different distances from the apex (p>0.05). Conclusion None of the tested techniques could provide a void-free and gap-free filling. The apical third of the canals showed the highest VP of gaps in all obturation techniques.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Gutta-percha combined with an endodontic sealer remains the most widely used obturation technique. Bioceramic sealers (BS) were developed for root canal obturation in combination with gutta-percha cones using the cold single-cone technique. Few studies have assessed the effect of thermal treatment on the performance of BS. The present study evaluated the effect of heat on BS adhesion to root dentine in the apical third of the root canal of extracted human lower premolars. MATERIALS AND METHODS Three BS combined with a hydraulic condensation technique, a warm vertical compaction technique, and a carrier-based technique were evaluated. Sixty three lower premolars were prepared following the same surgical protocol to standardize root canal shape at the level of the apex, randomly assigned to one of nine groups, and obturated accordingly. One millimeter-thick sections were subjected to a push-out test using a universal testing machine and classified according to mode of failure. Two-way ANOVA was applied using SPSS software (IBM Corp). RESULTS No significant differences in maximum load or failure mode were observed among BS, techniques, or when considering the interaction between sealers and techniques. CONCLUSIONS The heat generated by the obturation techniques used here did not affect BS adhesion to the dentinal wall.

Abstract
A void-free obturation during root canal treatment on primary teeth is currently very difficult to attain. In this study, the pulpectomy filling abilities of Bio-C Pulpecto (Angelus, Basil, Londrina, Paraná, Brazil) and of zinc oxide eugenol, or "ZOE" (DenPro, Prevest, New York, NY, USA), were compared using several in vitro techniques. Therefore, 30 primary anterior teeth were used in the present in vitro study. Analysis of variance (ANOVA), including a multiple comparison procedure (Holm-Sidak method, Dunn's Method, or Tukey test), was used. On micro-CT, Bio-C Pulpecto exhibited higher void percentages than did ZOE (10.3 ± 3.8%, and 3.5 ± 1.3%), respectively (p < 0.05). With digital microscopy, higher total void percentages were found in the BC (13.2 ± 26.7%) group compared to the ZOE (2.7 ± 2.8%) group (p < 0.05). With the CLSM, mean tubular penetration depths were higher for Bio-C Pulpecto than for ZOE in all canal thirds (p < 0.05). SEM images demonstrated no tags into dentinal tubules in either group throughout the three thirds. Moreover, higher statistically significant flowability was found for Bio-C (2.657 ± 0.06 mm) compared to ZOE (1.8 ± 0.13 mm) (p < 0.05). The findings of this study indicate that neither ZOE nor Bio-C Pulpecto appears to meet the criteria for an ideal root canal filling paste for primary teeth. This study laid the groundwork for future research by determining how micro-CT, digital microscopy, SEM, and CLSM contribute to our understanding of the filling process of primary teeth. More thorough research on the mechanism of root canal obturation on primary teeth is required to achieve a long-term successful root canal therapy in young children.

Abstract
The effectiveness of root canal therapy is dependent on the quality of obturation. The objective of the current study was to evaluate the obturation quality in pediatric patients of age 6-9 years reporting for pulpectomy treatment. Among the comprehensive data of patients attending Saveetha Dental College, a retrospective analysis of all the patients referred for pulpectomy was extracted. SPSS software version 19 was used to analyze the data gathered. Data were statistically evaluated using the Chi-square test. RESULTS: In the present study carried out, it was observed that the most frequent quality of obturation was normal (12.36%) and it is higher in the 7-year-old age category. The second frequent quality of obturation was voids (6.55%) and its higher in the 9-year-old age category. The results obtained were positively significant (P < 0.05). The most frequent quality of obturation was normal and it is higher in the 7 years category. The second frequent quality of obturation was voids with higher level in the 9 years category.
