Abstract
The effect of vine leaves processing techniques on Azoxystrobin, Fenazaquin, and Indoxacarb residues was investigated. Residue extraction following field application of pesticides and leaf processing was carried out using the QuEChERS method, with analysis conducted by LC-MS/MS. In dry conservation, Azoxystrobin's half-life was estimated to exceed a year, Fenazaquin's was 18 days, and Indoxacarb's was 142 days. Azoxystrobin had a half-life of 261 days, Fenazaquin had a half-life of 9 days, and Indoxacarb's half-life exceeded a year in brine conservation. It is recommended to use dry conservation because it results in an average 60 % reduction in residue levels for the three pesticides. Boiling water significantly reduced pesticide residues (Azoxystrobin -40.3 %, Indoxacarb -22.4 %, and Fenazaquin -28.8 %). It is recommended to use boiling water for washing, as it shows an average removal rate of approximately 30 %. The health risk assessment indicated that consuming vine leaves posed no health risk for consumers, but overall exposure to residues must be considered.

Abstract
Understanding pesticide residue patterns in crops is important for ensuring human health. However, data on residue accumulation and distribution in cowpeas grown in the greenhouse and open field are lacking. Our results suggest that acetamiprid, chlorantraniliprole, cyromazine, and thiamethoxam residues in greenhouse cowpeas were 1.03-15.32 times higher than those in open field cowpeas. Moreover, repeated spraying contributed to the accumulation of pesticide residues in cowpeas. Clothianidin, a thiamethoxam metabolite, was detected at 1.04-86.00 μg/kg in cowpeas. Pesticide residues in old cowpeas were higher than those in tender cowpeas, and the lower half of the plants had higher pesticide residues than did the upper half. Moreover, pesticide residues differed between the upper and lower halves of the same cowpea pod. Chronic and acute dietary risk assessments indicated that the human health risk was within acceptable levels of cowpea consumption. Given their high residue levels and potential accumulation, pesticides in cowpeas should be continuously assessed.

Abstract
In addition to size, shape and morphology, enzyme-mimetic property could be efficiently regulated by controlling composition, forming complexes or hybrids, and surface modification. Herein, Pd nanoparticles with an average diameter of 2.52 nm were decorated on ultrathin 2D copper(ii)-porphyrin derived metal-organic framework (MOF) nanosheets by a simple reduction method for catalytic activity regulation. In comparison with other nanozymes, the as-synthesized Pd modified 2D MOF hybrid nanosheets (Pd@Cu-TCPP(Fe)) presented excellent peroxidase-mimic activity, exhibiting an even superior catalytic ability towards H2O2 with a Michaelis-Menten constant as low as 2.33 mM. Based on a cascade reaction between glucose oxidase and Pd@Cu-TCPP(Fe), a colorimetric method for the detection of glucose was established and validated with a wide linear range (0.2-8.0 mM), good recovery (89.5-94.2%) and nice reproducibility (3.65%). All these features guaranteed its excellent ability for glucose determination in human cerebrospinal fluids. This study could offer a valuable reference for constructing novel optical biosensors.

Development of Simultaneous Analytical Method for Imidazolinone Herbicides from Livestock Products by UHPLC-MSMS. Foods 2022; 11:foods11121781. Abstract
A simultaneous analytical method, which used LC/MSMS for imidazolinone herbicides from livestock products (egg, milk, beef, pork, and chicken) for monitoring, was developed with a QuEChERS preparation. A weighed sample (5 g) in a 50 mL conical tube was added to 0.1 M potassium phosphate dibasic solution (5 mL) and shaken for 10 min. After shaking, 0.5 mL of 6 N HCl and 5 mL of acetonitrile were added, and this solution was shaken for 10 min. Additionally, QuEChERS extraction salts (original method, 4 g MgSO4, 1 g NaCl) were added to the sample in a 50 mL conical tube. The mixture was strongly shaken for 1 min and centrifuged at 3000× g for 10 min. The acetonitrile layer was purified with dSPE (150 mg MgSO4, 25 mg C18) and was centrifuged at 13,000× g for 5 min. The supernatant was filtered with a membrane filter (pore size: 0.2 μm) before analysis. The ME (%, matrix effect) range for almost all analytes was −6.56 to 7.11%. MLOD (method limit of detection) and MLOQ (method limit of quantitative) values were calculated by the S/N ratio. MLOQs were 0.01 mg/kg. The linear correlation coefficients (R2) were >0.99 with the range of 0.5~25 μg/kg for all of the imidazolinone herbicides. The recoveries (of imidazolinone herbicides) were in the range of 76.1~110.6% (0.01 mg/kg level), 89.2~97.1% (0.1 mg/kg level), and 94.4~104.4% (0.5 mg/kg level). These are within the validation criteria (to recover 70−120% with RSD <20%). The method demonstrated the simple, rapid, high throughput screening and quantitative analysis of imidazolinone herbicide residues for monitoring in livestock products.
