Abstract
BACKGROUND Exercise interventions for mild cognitive impairment (MCI) have been extensively studied. However, there is no bibliometric study on exercise interventions for MCI. This study aimed to identify the collaborative networks, research hotspots, evolution trends, and future directions. METHODS Relevant documents were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database. VOSviewer was used to analyze the co-authorship of the author, countries and institutions, and the keywords co-occurrence. CiteSpace was used to detect burst keywords' research trends. RESULTS A total of 569 articles were included and showed an overall increasing trend in annual publications. The most influential subject categories, authors, journals, country, and institutions were "geriatrics gerontology," "Doi, Takehiko and Shimada, Hiroyuki," "Journal of Alzheimer's Disease," USA, and "Veterans Health Administration," respectively. The research hotspots are "effectiveness," "neural mechanism" and "correlation" of exercise interventions, and the emerging trend is "intervention quality." CONCLUSION This area is in a rapid development phase, whereby research hotpots are focused and the research trend is clear. The highly productive authors and institutions have made outstanding contributions and the subject categories present an interdisciplinary trend. However, there is weak cooperation between countries and institutions, and a substantial research gap exists between developed and developing countries. Future research may highlight the intervention quality, emphasizing the combination with virtual reality technology.

Abstract
Because of population ageing, there will be a vast increase in the prevalence of cognitive decline and dementia. Physical activity and sedentary behaviour have been identified as modifiable lifestyle behaviours associated with these cognitive conditions. Therefore, the aim of this bibliometric analysis is to reveal the knowledge structure of the field of physical activity, sedentary behaviour, and cognitive function among older adults from 2004 to 2024, and to predict emerging research trends. A total of 1290 publications were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. CiteSpace and VOSviewer were applied to conduct performance analysis, science mapping, and enrichment. T. Liu-Ambrose was the most prolific author (39 publications), and the University of British Columbia was the most prolific institution (48 publications). The USA, China, and Canada were the three most productive countries with 392, 174, and 136 publications respectively. Two research trends revealed the knowledge structure of this field, including the shift from evaluating the effectiveness of interventions on cognitive function to evaluating the effectiveness of interventions on other health-related outcomes, as well as an expansion of research on the role of physical activity and sedentary behaviour in the context of healthy ageing. Sleep, sedentary behaviour, and virtual reality may be emerging research trends and may predict directions for future research. Collectively, this bibliometric analysis provides a one-step overview of the knowledge structure in this field for researchers and other stakeholders, as well as a reference for future research.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The lack of specific symptoms of gastric cancer (GC) causes great challenges in its early diagnosis. Thus it is essential to identify the risk factors for early diagnosis and treatment of GC and to improve the survival rates. AIM To assist physicians in identifying changes in the output of publications and research hotspots related to risk factors for GC, constructing a list of key risk factors, and providing a reference for early identification of patients at high risk for GC. METHODS Research articles on risk factors for GC were searched in the Web of Science core collection, and relevant information was extracted after screening. The literature was analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2019, CiteSpace V, and VOSviewer 1.6.18. RESULTS A total of 2514 papers from 72 countries and 2507 research institutions were retrieved. China (n = 1061), National Cancer Center (n = 138), and Shoichiro Tsugane (n = 36) were the most productive country, institution, or author, respectively. The research hotspots in the study of risk factors for GC are summarized in four areas, namely: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection, single nucleotide polymorphism, bio-diagnostic markers, and GC risk prediction models. CONCLUSION In this study, we found that H. pylori infection is the most significant risk factor for GC; single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) is the most dominant genetic factor for GC; bio-diagnostic markers are the most promising diagnostic modality for GC. GC risk prediction models are the latest current research hotspot. We conclude that the most important risk factors for the development of GC are H. pylori infection, SNP, smoking, diet, and alcohol.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Gastroparesis has a substantial impact on the quality of life but has limited treatment options, which makes it a public health concern. No bibliometric studies on gastroparesis have been published thus far. Thus, this article aims to summarize and analyze research hotspots to provide a reference for clinical researchers. MATERIALS AND METHODS Gastroparesis-related research articles were searched in the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC), and relevant information was extracted after screening. A total of 1033 documents were analyzed with the bibliometric method using Microsoft Excel, Citespace, and VOSviewer. RESULTS Overall, our search retrieved 1033 papers contributed by 966 research institutions from 53 countries. Since 1980, publications in this field have increased rapidly. United States (n = 645) and Temple University (n = 122) were the most productive country and institution, respectively. Parkman, with 96 publications, was the most prominent author. CONCLUSIONS Research hotspots in gastroparesis can be summarized into four domains: innovation in diagnostic modalities, change of oral therapeutic agents, choice of surgical interventions, and pathological mechanisms. Future research on gastroparesis should focus on the quality of life of patients, diagnostic techniques, pyloromyotomy, and transpyloric stent placement.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Alzheimer disease (AD) is a major disease that affects the elderly worldwide. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the relationship between AD and sleep disorders, identify journal publications and collaborators, and analyze keywords and research trends using a bibliometric method. METHODS Data retrieval is based on the Web of Science Core Collection database. CiteSpace V.6.1.R6 was used to analyze bibliometric analysis, calculate centrality, and draw co-occurrence maps of countries/regions, institutions, authors, published journals, cited literature, keyword co-occurrence maps, cluster maps, time graphs, and emergent maps from January 1986 to April 2023. RESULTS There were 4677 publications relevant to AD and sleep disorders. From 1986 to 2023, the number of publications per year showed an increasing trend. The United States not only has the largest output of publications, the first in the centrality ranking, but also owns the 3 highest frequencies of publication institutions. The journal NEUROLOGY has the highest citation frequency, reaching 2671, with a median centrality value of 0.64. A comprehensive analysis of centrality showed that AD, circadian rhythm, dementia, Parkinson disease, sleep, and older adults are both high-frequency words and high centrality words, becoming core keywords in this field. CONCLUSIONS This was the first study to provide an overview, about the current main status of development, hot spots of the study, and the future trends in sleep disorders and AD, which provides a comprehensive review of the trends and gaps in field of sleep and AD, and thus lays the groundwork for future research.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Alzheimer's disease (AD) often presents with sleep disorders, which are also an important risk factor for AD, affecting cognitive function to a certain extent. This study aimed to reveal the current global status, present hotspots, and discuss emerging trends of sleep and AD using a bibliometric approach. METHODS Research and review articles related to sleep and AD from 2003 to 2022 were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection. VOSviewer 1.6.18.0, Scimago Graphica, and CiteSpace 6.2.R2 were used to map the productive and highly cited countries, institutions, journals, authors, references, and keywords in the field. RESULTS Overall, 4,008 publications were included in this bibliometric analysis. The number of publications and citations showed an increasing trend over the past two decades. The USA and China had the largest and second largest, respectively, number of publications and citations and cooperated with other countries more closely. Ancoli-Israel Sonia published the most papers, and Holtzman David M was co-cited most frequently. The most productive journal was Journal of Alzheimer's Disease, and Neurology was the most frequently cited journal. The risk factors, β-amyloid (Aβ), tau, neuroinflammation, astrocytes, glymphatic system, orexin, functional connectivity, and management have been the main research directions of researchers over the past few years and may be the future trend of valuable research. CONCLUSION We identified hotspots and emerging trends including risk factors, Aβ, tau, neuroinflammation, the glymphatic system, orexin, and management, which may help identify new therapeutic targets and improve clinical efficacy of sleep and AD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a common cause of dementia and frailty. Therefore, it is important to develop biomarkers that can diagnose these changes to improve the likelihood of monitoring and treating potential causes. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the relationship between biomarkers and AD, identify journal publications and collaborators, and analyze keywords and research trends using a bibliometric method. METHODS We systematically searched for papers published in the Web of Science Core Collection database on biomarkers and AD. The search strategy was as follows: (TS) = (Alzheimer's OR Alzheimer's OR Alzheimer OR "Alzheimer's disease" OR "Alzheimer disease") AND TS = (biomarker OR biomarkers). Only articles and reviews were included as document types, with English as the primary language. The CiteSpace software was used to analyze the retrieved data on countries/regions, institutions, authors, published journals, and keywords. Simultaneously, the co-occurrence of the keywords was constructed. RESULTS There were 2625 articles on biomarkers and AD research published by 51 institutions located in 41 countries in 75 journals; the number of articles has shown an increasing trend over the past 20 years. Keywords analysis showed that Alzheimer's disease, cerebrospinal fluid, mild cognitive impairment, amyloid beta, and tau were also highly influential. CONCLUSION This was the first study to provide an overview of the current status of development, hot spots of study, and future trends in biomarkers for AD. These findings will provide useful information for researchers to explore trends and gaps in the field of biomarkers and AD.

Abstract
Background Although knowledge on metastatic breast cancer in bones (MBCB) has increased rapidly over the past 22 years, a comprehensive and objective bibliometric analysis is still lacking. Materials and methods We used R, VOSviewer, and Citespace software to conduct a bibliometric analysis of 5,497 papers on MBCB from the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) using author, institution, country/region, citation, and keyword indicators. Results A general strong sense of scholarly collaboration was noted in the MBCB field at the author, research institution, and country/region levels. We discovered some outstanding authors and highly productive institutions, but with less collaboration with other academic groups. Unbalanced and uncoordinated developments were observed among countries/regions in the field of MBCB research. We also found that by using various indicators and applying different analysis methods to them, we were able to broadly identify primary clinical practices, relevant clinical experiments, and directions for bioinformatics regarding MBCB, changes over the past 22 years, and current challenges in the field. The development of knowledge on MBCB is progressing greatly; however, MBCB is still incurable. Conclusion This study is the first to use bibliometrics to provide an overall analysis of the scientific output of MBCB studies. Palliative therapies for MBCB are mostly in a mature state. However, research on the molecular mechanisms and immune response to tumors related to the development of treatments to cure MBCB remains relatively immature. Therefore, further research should be undertaken in this area.
