Influence of sustainable environmental exercises in the green restaurant industry

The restaurant business is gaining popularity for its capacity to alleviate numerous adverse environmental influences to achieve a competitive edge. Green restaurants can employ a distinctive brand strategy. Nevertheless, additional research is necessary to better understand customer behavior in this subject. This study explores the relationship between brand awareness and brand image, and brand performance from the consumer's perspective. However, it is unknown how this connection is affected by the attitude of green restaurant brands. This research aims to address the research gaps by determining the structure and function of brand attitudes. This study handles the quantitative data analysis to fit the study problem. The data was collected through a questionnaire form, and the questionnaire was collected from the customers from twelve restaurants in Karachi city of Pakistan by utilizing random sampling. In sum, 290 samples were obtained and interpreted with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) and PLS (Partial Least Squares) to come up with the results of the study. According to the findings, restaurant customers' observed brand awareness and brand image positively impact brand attitude. The results of the structural equation analysis revealed that brand awareness and brand image have a substantial impact on brand performance, whereas brand attitude has a profound effect on meditation. The adaptation of brand attitude to brand management has sparked a lot of interest in the incredibly competitive restaurant business. There is a good likelihood that green restaurants will ultimately find value in using the measuring tools and suggestions offered in this research to analyze and lead their marketing efforts. In practice, it is recommended that green restaurant management cultivate familiar brand awareness and preserve the brand image to create brand attitude and performance.

Green Restaurant Consumers’ Pride and Social Healthy Narcissism Influencing Self-Actualization and Self-Transcendence That Drive Customer Citizenship Behavior

This study explored green restaurant consumers’ self-actualization and self-transcendence motivations that drive customer citizenship behavior (CCB). A survey of green restaurant consumers was administered, and structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was performed. The findings indicate the presence of positive associations between pride and self-actualization, and healthy social narcissism and self-transcendence. This study also found a positive relationship between self-actualization and self-transcendence, and they are positively associated with CCB. Interestingly, the findings suggest that green restaurant consumers’ pride, self-actualization and CCB path is more dominant path vis-à-vis the path from healthy social narcissism mediated by self-transcendence to CCB.

Does the Effect of Customer Experience on Customer Satisfaction Create a Sustainable Competitive Advantage? A Comparative Study of Different Shopping Situations

With the rapid development of online shopping and traditional physical store shopping interweaving to form different shopping situations, customer experience has gradually become the main source of retailers’ sustainable competitive advantage through differentiation. Retailers need to continuously improve customer experience in different shopping situations to maintain long-term sustainable customer satisfaction and achieve sustainability. The study aims to examine what kind of shopping situations will influence customer experience and customer satisfaction. A total of 288 questionnaires were collected from two different shopping situations (146 questionnaires from physical stores were collected in five cities in China and 142 online questionnaires were collected from 21 provinces in China), and multiple regression analysis was adopted to test the hypotheses. As a result, we found that customer experience with staff service, shopping environment, and shopping procedure has a positive influence on customer satisfaction. Different shopping situations significantly moderate the relationships among customer experience with the shopping environment, product experience, and customer satisfaction but rarely influence customer experience with staff service and service procedures. Finally, gender significantly moderates the relationship between customer experience and customer satisfaction in different shopping situations. This study theoretically reveals the relationship between customer experience and satisfaction in different shopping situations and provides practical suggestions for retailers to form differentiated sustainable competitive advantage through customer experience management.

The Roles of The Physical Environment, Social Servicescape, Co-Created Value, and Customer Satisfaction in Determining Tourists’ Citizenship Behavior: Malaysian Cultural and Creative Industries

Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) research has been extended in the literature to the customer domain by examining the role of customer behavior in the service sectors. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the effect of the physical environment and social servicescape on the co-creation value, and the impact of the co-creation value on customer satisfaction, which, in turn, influences the customer’s citizenship behavior. A field study was conducted in Malaysian cultural and creative industries settings and a total of 254 participants were approached. Structural equation modeling (SEM) technique was used to test the hypothesized relationships among variables. The proposed research model was largely focused on the four perceived values (i.e., physical servicescape, social servicescape, co-creation value, and customer satisfaction) that significantly influence tourists’ citizenship behavior. This study sheds new light on the notable roles of physical servicescape, social servicescape, co-creation value, and customer satisfaction on enhancing tourists’ citizenship behavior. The theoretical implications and practical implications are discussed.
