Application of the Bipolar Neutrosophic Hamacher Averaging Aggregation Operators to Group Decision Making: An Illustrative Example

Intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic multi-sets and numerical applications to classification

A single-valued neutrosophic multi-set is characterized by a sequence of truth membership degrees, a sequence of indeterminacy membership degrees and a sequence of falsity membership degrees. Nature of a single-valued neutrosophic multi-set allows us to consider multiple information in the truth, indeterminacy and falsity memberships which is pretty useful in multi-criteria group decision making. In this paper, we consider sequences of intuitionistic fuzzy values instead of numbers to define the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic multi-set. In this manner, such a set gives more powerful information. We also present some set theoretic operations and a partial order for intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic sets and provide some algebraic operations between intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic values. Then, we develop two types of weighted aggregation operators with the help of intuitionistic fuzzy t-norms and t-conorms. By considering some well-known additive generators of ordinary t-norms, we give the Algebraic weighted arithmetic and geometric aggregation operators and the Einstein weighted arithmetic and geometric aggregation operators that are the particular cases of the weighted aggregation operators defined via general t-norms and t-conorms. We also define a simplified neutrosophic valued similarity measure and we use a score function for simplified neutrosophic values to rank similarities of intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic multi-values. Finally, we give an algorithm to solve classification problems using intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic multi-values and proposed aggregation operators and we apply the theoretical part of the paper to a real classification problem.

Efficient network selection using multi fuzzy criteria for confidential data transmission in wireless body sensor networks

In the last decade, due to wireless technology’s enhancement, the people’s interest is highly increased in Wireless Body Sensor Networks (WBSNs). WBSNs consist of many tiny biosensor nodes that are continuously monitoring diverse physiological signals such as BP (systolic and diastolic), ECG, EMG, SpO2, and activity recognition and transmit these sensed patients’ sensitive information to the central node, which is straight communicate with the controller. To disseminate this sensitive patient information from the controller to remote Medical Server (MS) needs to be prolonged high-speed wireless technology, i.e., LTE, UMTS, WiMAX, WiFi, and satellite communication. It is a challenging task for the controller to choose the optimal network to disseminate various patient vital signs, i.e., emergency data, normal data, and delay-sensitive data. According to the nature of various biosensor nodes in WBSNs, monitor patient vital signs and provide complete intelligent treatment when any abnormality occurs in the human body, i.e., accurate insulin injection when patient sugar level increased. In this paper, first, we select the optimal network from accessible networks using four different fuzzy attribute-based decision-making techniques (Triangular Cubic Hesistent Fuzzy Weighted Averaging Operator, Neutrosophic Linguistic TOPSIS method, Trangualar Cubic Hesistent Fuzzy Hamacher Weighted Averaging Operator and Cubic Grey Relational Analysis) depending upon the quality of service requirement for various application of WBSNs to prolong the human life, enhanced the society’s medical treatment and indorse living qualities of people. Similarly, leakage and misuse of patient data can be a security threat to human life. Thus, confidential data transmission is of great importance. For this purpose, in our proposed scheme, we used HECC for secure key exchange and an AES algorithm to secure patient vital signs to protect patient information from illegal usage. Furthermore, MAC protocol is used for mutual authentication among sensor nodes and Base Stations (BS). Mathematical results show that our scheme is efficient for optimal network selection in such circumstances where conflict arises among diverse QoS requirements for different applications of WBSNs.

Similarity Measures of Quadripartitioned Single Valued Bipolar Neutrosophic Sets and Its Application in Multi-Criteria Decision Making Problems

In this paper, a definition of quadripartitioned single valued bipolar neutrosophic set (QSVBNS) is introduced as a generalization of both quadripartitioned single valued neutrosophic sets (QSVNS) and bipolar neutrosophic sets (BNS). There is an inherent symmetry in the definition of QSVBNS. Some operations on them are defined and a set theoretic study is accomplished. Various similarity measures and distance measures are defined on QSVBNS. An algorithm relating to multi-criteria decision making problem is presented based on quadripartitioned bipolar weighted similarity measure. Finally, an example is shown to verify the flexibility of the given method and the advantage of considering QSVBNS in place of fuzzy sets and bipolar fuzzy sets.

Neutrosophic Portfolios of Financial Assets. Minimizing the Risk of Neutrosophic Portfolios

This paper studies the problem of neutrosophic portfolios of financial assets as part of the modern portfolio theory. Neutrosophic portfolios comprise those categories of portfolios made up of financial assets for which the neutrosophic return, risk and covariance can be determined and which provide concomitant information regarding the probability of achieving the neutrosophic return, both at each financial asset and portfolio level and also information on the probability of manifestation of the neutrosophic risk. Neutrosophic portfolios are characterized by two fundamental performance indicators, namely: the neutrosophic portfolio return and the neutrosophic portfolio risk. Neutrosophic portfolio return is dependent on the weight of the financial assets in the total value of the portfolio but also on the specific neutrosophic return of each financial asset category that enters into the portfolio structure. The neutrosophic portfolio risk is dependent on the weight of the financial assets that enter the portfolio structure but also on the individual risk of each financial asset. Within this scientific paper was studied the minimum neutrosophic risk at the portfolio level, respectively, to establish what should be the weight that the financial assets must hold in the total value of the portfolio so that the risk is minimum. These financial assets weights, after calculations, were found to be dependent on the individual risk of each financial asset but also on the covariance between two financial assets that enter into the portfolio structure. The problem of the minimum risk that characterizes the neutrosophic portfolios is of interest for the financial market investors. Thus, the neutrosophic portfolios provide complete information about the probabilities of achieving the neutrosophic portfolio return but also of risk manifestation probability. In this context, the innovative character of the paper is determined by the use of the neutrosophic triangular fuzzy numbers and by the specific concepts of financial assets, in order to substantiating the decisions on the financial markets.
