Abstract
This article investigated the magnetic properties of a 2D nanolattice through computer modeling. A square antidote nanolattice in thin films was considered. For our computer simulation, we used the Heisenberg model. Ferromagnetic phase transition was studied for lattices with pores of various sizes. We determined the Curie temperature based on the finite-dimensional scaling theory. Using Wolf's algorithm, we simulated the behavior of the system. The dependence of the phase transition temperature on the density of spins was found to be power. Using Metropolis' algorithm, we calculated a hysteresis loop for an antidote lattice film. The hysteresis loop narrowed as the pore sizes increased. The dependence of coercive force on the size of the nanolattice obeyed the logarithmic law.

Enhancement of Exchange Bias and Perpendicular Magnetic Anisotropy in CoO/Co Multilayer Thin Films by Tuning the Alumina Template Nanohole Size. NANOMATERIALS 2022; 12:nano12152544. Abstract
The interest in magnetic nanostructures exhibiting perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and exchange bias (EB) effect has increased in recent years owing to their applications in a new generation of spintronic devices that combine several functionalities. We present a nanofabrication process used to induce a significant out-of-plane component of the magnetic easy axis and EB. In this study, 30 nm thick CoO/Co multilayers were deposited on nanostructured alumina templates with a broad range of pore diameters, 34 nm ≤ Dp ≤ 96 nm, maintaining the hexagonal lattice parameter at 107 nm. Increase of the exchange bias field (HEB) and the coercivity (HC) (12 times and 27 times, respectively) was observed in the nanostructured films compared to the non-patterned film. The marked dependence of HEB and HC with antidot hole diameters pinpoints an in-plane to out-of-plane changeover of the magnetic anisotropy at a nanohole diameter of ∼75 nm. Micromagnetic simulation shows the existence of antiferromagnetic layers that generate an exceptional magnetic configuration around the holes, named as antivortex-state. This configuration induces extra high-energy superdomain walls for edge-to-edge distance >27 nm and high-energy stripe magnetic domains below 27 nm, which could play an important role in the change of the magnetic easy axis towards the perpendicular direction.

Abstract
Development of perpendicular magnetic anisotropy thin films is a requisite for many applications. In this work, we have illustrated the enhancement of the PMA of Hard (Co)/Soft (Permalloy, Py) ferromagnetic bilayers by depositing them onto nanoporous anodic alumina membranes with different hole diameters varying in the range between 30 nm and 95 nm. A dramatic change in the hysteresis loops behaviour with hole size, D, and magnetic surface cover ratio parameters has been observed: (1) for samples with small antidot hole diameters, the in-plane (INP) hysteresis loops show single-step magnetic behaviour; (2) for D = 75 nm, the hysteresis loops of Co/Py and Py samples exhibit a multistep magnetic behaviour; (3) a decreasing coercivity in the INP hysteresis loops for antidot arrays samples with D> 75 nm has been detected as a consequence of the reduction of the INP magnetic anisotropy and the rising of the out-of-plane component. A crossover of the magnetic anisotropy from the INP to out-of-plane for bilayer antidot samples has been observed for Co/Py ferromagnetic bilayers, favoured by the interfacial exchange coupling between the two ferromagnetic materials. These findings can be of high interest for the development of novel magnetic sensors and for perpendicular-magnetic recording patterned media based on template-assisted deposition techniques.

Abstract
Magnetic films of magnetite (Fe3O4) with controlled defects, so-called antidot arrays, were synthesized by a new technique called AFIR. AFIR consists of the deposition of a thin film by atomic layer deposition, the generation of square and hexagonal arrays of holes using focused ion beam milling, and the subsequent thermal reduction of the antidot arrays. Magnetic characterizations were carried out by magneto-optic Kerr effect measurements, showing the enhancement of the coercivity for the antidot arrays. AFIR opens a new route to manufacture ordered antidot arrays of magnetic oxides with variable lattice parameters.

Abstract
Hysteresis properties and magnetization reversal in TbCo(30 nm) and FeNi(10 nm)/TbCo(30 nm) films with nanoscale antidot lattices are investigated to test the effect of nanoholes on the perpendicular anisotropy in the TbCo layer and the induced exchange bias in the FeNi layer. The antidots are introduced by depositing the films on top of hexagonally ordered porous anodic alumina substrates with pore diameter and interpore distance fixed to 75 nm and 105 nm, respectively. The analysis of combined vibrating sample magnetometry, Kerr microscopy and magnetic force microscopy imaging measurements has allowed us to link macroscopic and local magnetization reversal processes. For magnetically hard TbCo films, we demonstrate the tunability of magnetic anisotropy and coercive field (i.e., it increases from 0.2 T for the continuous film to 0.5 T for the antidot film). For the antidot FeNi/TbCo film, magnetization of FeNi is confirmed to be in plane. Although an exchange bias has been locally detected in the FeNi layer, the integrated hysteresis loop has increased coercivity and zero shift along the field axis due to the significantly decreased magnetic anisotropy of TbCo layer.

Abstract
We have studied the transition between two different magnetization reversal mechanisms for thin Co/Pd multilayers with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy, appearing in magnetic dot and antidot arrays, which were prepared by nanosphere lithography. Various ordered arrays of nanostuctures, both magnetic dots and antidots, were created by varying size and distance between the nanospheres employing RF-plasma etching. We have shown that the coercivity values reach a maximum for the array of antidots with a separation length close to the domain wall width. In this case, each area between three adjacent holes corresponds to a single domain configuration, which can be switched individually. On the contrary, small hole sizes and large volume of material between them results in domain wall propagation throughout the system accompanied by strong domain wall pinning at the holes. We have also shown the impact of edge effects on the magnetic anisotropy energy.
