Abstract
BACKGROUND Dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLS) has a worse prognosis and occurs most commonly in the retroperitoneal region and rarely in the intraperitoneal region. Histological diagnosis was revolutionized by the combined contributions of histo-immuno-chemistry and molecular biology. Aside from surgery, there is no consensus on the optimal treatment for this chemoresistant cancer. CASE SUMMARY A thirty-year-old black female presented with a large painful abdominal mass occupying nearly the entire abdomen and progressive weight loss was admitted for surgery. Abdominal computed tomography showed a large heterogeneous mass of the mesentery that was sized 18 cm × 16 cm in size and had heterogeneous contrast enhancement. During laparotomy, en bloc excision of the large and multilobulated gastrocolic ligament mass was performed. The initial postoperative histopathological diagnosis was undifferentiated sarcoma. Finally, the results of immunohistochemistry and molecular biology allowed us to confirm the diagnosis of DDLS. The tumour followed an aggressive evolution with diffuse metastasis, causing the death of the patient less than 5 mo after the operation. CONCLUSION Dedifferentiated liposarcomas are rare tumours that typically originate in the retroperitoneum but may arise in unexpected locations.

Abstract
To explore the clinicopathological features of a rare dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS) with meningothelial-like whorls, we retrospectively analyzed 46 reported cases and 1 case that we encountered. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) analysis of the MDM2 amplification status of our case was also performed. Our case involved a 73-year-old male patient who had a mass in the upper part of his left arm for 10 years and was treated by surgical ablation of the tumor because of the mass' recent rapid enlargement. Microscopically, the tumor tissues showed coexistence of well-differentiated and dedifferentiated components, the latter of which included meningothelial-like whorls and inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor-like structures. The dedifferentiated components diffusely expressed vimentin, MDM2, CDK4, p16, and smooth muscle actin. They were also focally positive for desmin but negative for S-100, CD117, CD34, ALK, EMA, SOX-10, p53, and β-catenin. FISH detection showed MDM2 amplification. In conclusion, subcutaneous DDLPS with meningothelial-like whorls and inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor-like features is rare. This case broadens the histopathological lineage of DDLPS, and confirms DDLPS with myogenic differentiation. The use of the combination of MDM2, CDK4, p16, and FISH to detect MDM2 amplification is a reliable basis for the diagnosis of DDLPS with meningothelial-like whorls.

Abstract
Soft tissue sarcomas represent an extremely rare cause of esophageal masses, and undifferentiated sarcomas are rarer. The proportion of dedifferentiated liposarcomas (DDL) is even lower. The case of a 58-year-old male who complained of dysphagia and was found to have an 18-centimeter long esophageal mass/polyp on esophagogastroduodenoscopy is presented. The lesion was resected endoscopically and a diagnosis of DDL was confirmed by fluorescence in situ hybridization. Due to its rarity, the treatment experience with esophageal DDLs is limited. However, based on our experience, endoscopic resection of the lesion can be considered as the treatment of choice when feasible. We performed a review of the literature to identify and analyze similar reported cases.

Abstract
Esophagealliposarcoma represent a rare cause of esophagealtumor. We present a case of liposarcomain the low oesophagus treated by surgical resection. There is no conventional treatment of this pathology. The curative treatment requires surgical resection orendoscopic approach for selected tumor.
Introduction Esophageal liposarcoma represent a rare cause of esophageal tumor. According to the literature, since the first case reported in 1983, only 42 cases of esophageal liposarcoma were reported. Presentation of case We present a case of liposarcoma in the lower oesophagus treated by surgical resection. Discussion Liposarcoma in the oesophagus gastrointestinal tract is an uncommon. An analysis of the literature reports 42 cases.In many cases the diagnosis was established in postoperative period.Surgery is the standard treatment including polypectomy, total or subtotal oesophagectomy. Conclusion There is no conventional treatment of this pathology. The curative treatment requires surgical resection or endoscopic approach for selected tumor.
