Abstract
Aims This study aimed to evaluate the impact of continuous nursing and telehealth education via WeChat in infants with congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV) undergoing Ponseti therapy on reducing complications, care burden, and improving the quality of life for parents. Methods This is a single-center retrospective study. From July 2021 to December 2022, 44 CTEV children who undergoing Ponseti treatment in our hospital who received continuous nursing and telehealth education via WeChat (experimental group). In addition, during January 2020 to June 2021, 44 children with CTEV treated with Ponseti in our hospital who received routine nursing and traditional health education were selected as the control group. The incidence of complications, parental care burden and parental quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the demographic characteristics of patients and parents between the two groups, and the groups were comparable (p > 0.05). The incidence of complications including plaster loosens, plaster falling off, pressure ulcer was significantly lower in the intervention group compared to the control group (p < 0.05). Parents in the intervention group experienced significantly lower care burdens compared to those in the control group (p < 0.05). The quality of life of parents in the intervention group was significantly higher than that for the control group (p < 0.05). There were significant differences in the incidence of complications, the care burden of parents and the quality of life of parents between the two groups. Conclusion This study found that continuous nursing and telehealth education via WeChat group during Ponsetis treatment of children with CTEV can effectively reduce complications, reduce the care burden of parents and improve the quality of life of parents. This method is simple and convenient, especially worthy of application and promotion in medically underdeveloped areas.

Abstract
Background Caring for a child with long-term functional limitations can have a negative impact on the physical and psychological well-being of the caregiver. Family-centered care (FCC) interventions have the potential to empower caregivers and contribute to their well-being. This systematic review aimed to synthesize existing evidence on the effectiveness of FCC interventions in improving the well-being of caregivers of children with cerebral palsy (CP), and identify the key components of such interventions that are most commonly practiced and deemed effective. Methods This review systematically searched seven databases for randomized controlled trials that evaluated the effectiveness of any FCC intervention on the well-being of caregivers of children with or at risk of CP. We used the Cochrane RoB 2.0 tool to assess risk of bias and Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) checklist for critical appraisal. Due to high heterogeneity of studies, narrative synthesis was used to summarize the data. Results The review consists of 11 studies which were categorized into five sections based on the components of FCC intervention provided in each individual study: 1. Information provision, and Enabling and partnership (n= 5); 2. Information provision, and Respectful and supportive care (n= 1); 3. Enabling and partnership (n= 2); 4. Enabling and partnership, and Respectful and supportive care (n= 2); 5. Information provision, Enabling and partnership and Respectful and supportive care (n= 1). Risk of bias was low in four studies, unclear in two studies, and high in five studies. Conclusion FCC interventions were found to be effective in improving caregivers' satisfaction with attainment of child and caregiver goals. Evidence from multiple studies does not strongly support the effectiveness of FCC interventions on caregiver's mental health, parenting and personal outcomes. Limited evidence precludes a conclusion on the effectiveness of the components of FCC on well-being of caregivers of children with CP.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to explore the effect of telehealth education on improving the parental care ability and postoperative nutritional status of infants after congenital heart disease surgery. Methods A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted at a provincial maternal and child hospital in southeastern China. A total of 84 infants were enrolled in the study, with 42 infants in the intervention group and 42 infants in the control group. Results Body weight, albumin, prealbumin, and hemoglobin of infants in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group one month after discharge (P<0.05). The STRONGkids score of infants in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of those in the control group one month after discharge (P<0.05). The Family Caregiver Task Inventory score of infants in the intervention group was significantly lower than that of those in the control group one month after discharge (P<0.05). Conclusion Performing telehealth education about home feeding and care guidance for parents of infants after congenital heart disease surgery can greatly improve parental care ability so that infants get better feeding and care, which can effectively improve the postoperative nutritional status of the infants.

Abstract
AIM This study aimed to explore the effect of performing remote health education via WeChat to improve the pre-operative nutritional status of non-restrictive ventricular septal defects (VSD). METHODS A prospective randomised controlled study was conducted in a provincial maternity and child hospital in China. Participants were randomised regarding education to the intervention group (WeChat) and the control group (leaflets). The nutritional status and complications of the patients were compared after intervening for 1 month. RESULTS Nutrient status comparison at 1 month after intervention showed that the body weight, head circumference, haemoglobin, albumin and pre-albumin of the WeChat group were significantly higher than those of the leaflet group (P < 0.05). The STRONGkids score of the WeChat group was significantly lower than that of the leaflet group (P < 0.05). The incidence of feeding intolerance and respiratory tract infection in the WeChat group was significantly lower than that found in the leaflet group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of liver insufficiency and jaundice between the two groups (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION Providing pre-operative feeding and care guidance for parents of infants with non-restrictive VSD, via remote health education through WeChat, can effectively improve nutritional status and reduce the risk of malnutrition and feeding complications.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to explore the effect of WeChat follow-up management on improving the parents’ mental status and the quality of life of premature newborns with patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) after discharge.
Methods Participants were randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group. WeChat was used in the intervention group for the postdischarge follow-up management, while the control group was managed traditionally. The psychological status and quality of life of the parents of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The SAS and SDS scores in the intervention group at three months after discharge were significantly better than those at discharge, but there was no significant change in the control group. During the three-month follow-up, the SAS and SDS scores in the intervention group were significantly better than those in the control group. The WHOQOL-BREF scale scores in the intervention group were significantly better than those in the control group in physiology, psychology, social relations, and the environment. The total quality of life score in the intervention group was also significantly better than that in the control group. All patients in the intervention group were followed up as appropriate, while five patients in the control group were lost to follow-up. The incidence of pneumonia and feeding intolerance in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Conclusion The application of WeChat in the follow-up management of premature infants with PDA could alleviate parents’ anxiety and depression in taking care of their children at home and can improve their quality of life.
