Abstract
Intracanal medications are used in endodontic treatment due to their antibacterial activity and ability to induce the periapical repair. Among the intracanal medications, the Calen (CAL; SS. White, Brazil) is a calcium hydroxide-based medication that provides an alkaline pH and releases calcium, exerting an antimicrobial activity. Bio-C Temp (BIO; Angelus, Brazil), a ready-to-use bioceramic intracanal medication, was designed to stimulate the mineralized tissues formation. Here, we investigated the bioactive potential of BIO in comparison to the CAL in the rat subcutaneous. Polyethylene tubes filled with medications, and empty tubes (control group, CG) were implanted in the subcutaneous tissue of rats. After 7, 15, 30 and 60 days, the blood was collected for calcium (Ca+2) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) measurement, and the capsules around the implants were processed for morphological analyses. The data were submitted to two-way ANOVA and Tukey test (p < 0.05). At 7, 15 and 30 days, the ALP level was grater in BIO and CAL than in CG (p < 0.0001). At 7 and 15 days, greater Ca+2 level was seen in the serum of CAL samples. From 7 to 60 days, an increase in the number of fibroblasts, osteocalcin- and osteopontin-immunolabelled cells was observed in BIO and CAL groups (p < 0.0001). In all periods, BIO and CAL specimens showed von Kossa-positive structures. Moreover, ultrastructural analysis revealed globules of mineralization in the capsules around the BIO and CAL specimens. Thus Bio-C Temp caused an increase in the ALP, osteocalcin and osteopontin, which may have allowed the formation of calcite, suggesting bioactive potential.

Abstract
THE AIM Jf the study was to assess the efficacy of mineral trioxide aggregate for treatment of children with complicated permanent teeth trauma. MATERIAL AND METHODS The study comprised 29 children aged 6-13 years (mean age 8.6±1.7 years) with 36 injured constant teeth, from which 30 had immature roots, 27 (75%) teeth had necrotic pulp at baseline examination, 12 (33.3%) teeth showed radiological signs of external imflammatory root resorbtion, 2 teeth were diagnosed with of the root fracture (5.6%). MTA was used for pulp regeneration procedure in 25 (69.5%) teeth, external closure of resorbtion site in 3 (8.3%) teeth, root canal filling in 4 (11.1%) teeth, apical plug creation in 4 teeth (11.1%). The patients were folowed up for 1 to 9 years. RESULTS From 36 teeth only one was extracted 9 years after regenerative endodontic procedure because of cervical root fracture. In 2 teeth with external imflammatory resorbtion progession of replacement resorption took place, in 1 tooth necrosis of regenerated pulp tissue occurred 2 years after the procedure because of restoration marginal seal failure. In 25 teeth favorable outcome was registered with stabilisation of external root resorbtion, continous root growth in 24 teeth and radioluscent lesions healing in 6 teeht showing them at baseline examination. Change of external imflammator root resorbtion to replacement resorption was detected in 1 teeth from 3 with external closure of resorbtion site. Root calan filling with MTA was performed in 3 avulsed teeth with replantation delayed for more than 1 day and in 1 tooth with root fracture. All teeth were clinically asymptomatic during more than 5 years follow-up. Favorable outcome was received in all cases of apicl plug formation. CONCLUSION MTA is highly effective for preservation of constant teeth in children with clinically complicated situations. In many cases with hopeless long-term prognosis for a teeth MTA allows stabilization of dental tissue level with the teeth being an object for guided tissue regeneration.

Abstract
Key Clinical Message Tooth reimplantation should be attempted in every possible case with thorough disinfection and impervious obturation. Integration of progressive innovations with recommended protocols can enhance complication free survival in intense situations. Abstract The present case describes the unique successful outcome of a tooth reimplanted after the delay of 30 hours. A 21-year old male patient presented with an avulsed #21 after a fall due to electric shock. It was reimplanted according IADT guidelines with the addition of specific irrigation sequence proposed for regenerative endodontic procedures during the endodontic treatment. The final obturation was accomplished by combination of Biodentine and BioRCS root-canal sealer. Subluxated #11 developed symptoms at 6 months and was further managed using recommended endodontic procedure. Both teeth had complication free survival during 5 year follow-up.

Abstract
Avulsion is a rare and serious traumatic dental injury that needs immediate and complex management. This case report highlights the successful management of an avulsed maxillary central incisor by replantation after a lapse of 120 minutes of being in an extra-oral environment and preserved in milk. A female patient aged 17 years presented with a traumatic dental injury sustained to the anterior maxillary region due to an accidental fall. Clinical examination revealed an avulsed tooth 21 that was replanted according to the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT) guidelines and stabilised in place with splinting. Conventional root canal therapy was initiated one week post-replantation. The root canal treatment was completed two weeks post-replantation followed by removal of the splint. Follow up done at regular intervals of one, three, six, and 12 months showed a lack of clinical signs and symptoms and no resorption on radiographic interpretation.

Abstract
Introduction. This study reports two rare cases of avulsion of permanent mandibular incisors with their sequelae after being reimplanted by two contrary methods. The relevant literature regarding the avulsion of permanent mandibular incisors is also being discussed. Case Presentation. In Case I, a 9-year-old girl reported an avulsion of the permanent mandibular left lateral incisor that was immediately reimplanted within 20 minutes after injury, whereas in Case II, all four permanent mandibular incisors were avulsed and reimplanted after a prolonged extraoral dry time of 36 hours in an 18-year-old female. Both cases missed their scheduled follow-up visits and were reported after 3.5 years and 7 months, respectively, with severe root and alveolar bone resorption that was confirmed by clinical examination and Intra oral periapical radiograph (IOPA) radiographs. Discussion. Avulsion of permanent mandibular incisors is rare. The similar unfavorable outcome of contrary cases at a variable duration of time after missed follow-up illustrates the role of the appropriate treatment protocol and regular follow-up visits for the long-term success of reimplanted teeth.

Abstract
Introduction: In many cases, the replanted teeth may undergo resorption or ankyloses. Recent studies show that autologous platelet concentrates (APCs) may improve the outcomes of tooth replantation. The aim of this systematic review was to summarize and critically appraise the currently available literature on the use of APCs before tooth replantation. Methodology: An electronic search was conducted on the following research databases: PubMed/MEDLINE, ISI Web of Science, EMBASE and Scopus. The following medical subject heading (MeSH) keywords used were: ((tooth replantation) OR (replanted tooth) OR (teeth replantation) OR (replanted teeth)) AND ((autologous platelet concentrate) OR (platelet-rich plasma) OR (platelet-rich fibrin) OR (autologous platelet)). The studies’ data was extracted, and the research’ quality was rated using the CARE and ARRIVE protocols. Results: Ten case reports and three animal studies, one cell study and one study, which included both animal and in vitro experiments, were included in this review. In majority of the studies, APCs improved the outcomes of tooth replantation. However, there were various sources of bias in the most of the research, which may have influenced the results. Conclusions: Although majority of the studies indicate that APCs may improve outcomes of tooth replantation, majority of the studies contained numerous sources of bias. Additionally, the sample size of the included subjects is inadequate to predict the clinical efficacy of APCs in management of replanted teeth. Large-scale, multi-center and long-term studies are required to ascertain the efficacy of APCs in improve the outcomes of tooth replantation.
