Thyroid autoimmunity and reproduction: Bidirectional relationship that continues to intrigue

Today, infertility is not only a serious health but also a psycho-social problem, one that is on the rise in the world. Thyroid autoimmunity (TAI) is the most common disease of the thyroid gland in the reproductive period, which can affect spontaneous conception as well as conception through assisted reproduction technology (ART), but also the maintenance of healthy pregnancy.
