Iron, iron everywhere: synthesis and characterization of iron 5,10,15-triferrocenylcorrole complexes

A new series of iron triferrocenylcorroles with three different axial ligands, NO, Cl⁻and σ-Ph, is synthesized and characterized using¹H NMR, electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical techniques in nonaqueous media.

The ability of vortexes to tune the chirality of graphene oxide in water sheds light on its complex supramolecular organization allowing for selective noncovalent deposition of a predetermined handedness on a solid surface.
