Abstract
Social media have become fundamental platforms for learning about health, including reproductive health knowledge. However, little is known about what specific user activity is conducive to learning about reproductive health and by what means. Drawing upon the cognitive mediation model, this study examines how different social media activities function in terms of elaboration and knowledge gain. Our hypothesized model was largely supported by a nationwide online survey with 1,000 Chinese women residing in both rural and urban areas. The results revealed the crucial role of information elaboration in bridging different social media activities with both subjective and factual reproductive health knowledge. Interestingly, public reposting of reproductive health information was found to be positively related to subjective knowledge but negatively related to factual knowledge, suggesting the emergence of an illusion of knowing among our participants. Multigroup SEM analyses revealed that the positive roles of scanning and private sharing in encouraging elaboration were more pronounced among users with lower levels of need for cognition. The findings are expected to contribute to a more nuanced understanding of health learning based on users' social media activities and intrinsic motivations for learning.

Abstract
Importance Less than 5% of patients with cancer enroll in a clinical trial, partly due to financial and logistic burdens, especially among underserved populations. The COVID-19 pandemic marked a substantial shift in the adoption of decentralized trial operations by pharmaceutical companies. Objective To assess the current global state of adoption of decentralized trial technologies, understand factors that may be driving or preventing adoption, and highlight aspirations and direction for industry to enable more patient-centric trials. Design, Setting, and Participants The Bloomberg New Economy International Cancer Coalition, composed of patient advocacy, industry, government regulator, and academic medical center representatives, developed a survey directed to global biopharmaceutical companies of the coalition from October 1 through December 31, 2022, with a focus on registrational clinical trials. The data for this survey study were analyzed between January 1 and 31, 2023. Exposure Adoption of decentralized clinical trial technologies. Main Outcomes and Measures The survey measured (1) outcomes of different remote monitoring and data collection technologies on patient centricity, (2) adoption of these technologies in oncology and all therapeutic areas, and (3) barriers and facilitators to adoption using descriptive statistics. Results All 8 invited coalition companies completed the survey, representing 33% of the oncology market by revenues in 2021. Across nearly all technologies, adoption in oncology trials lags that of all trials. In the current state, electronic diaries and electronic clinical outcome assessments are the most used technology, with a mean (SD) of 56% (19%) and 51% (29%) adoption for all trials and oncology trials, respectively, whereas visits within local physician networks is the least adopted at a mean (SD) of 12% (18%) and 7% (9%), respectively. Looking forward, the difference between the current and aspired adoption rate in 5 years for oncology is large, with respondents expecting a 40% or greater absolute adoption increase in 8 of the 11 technologies surveyed. Furthermore, digitally enabled recruitment, local imaging capabilities, and local physician networks were identified as technologies that could be most effective for improving patient centricity in the long term. Conclusions and Relevance These findings may help to galvanize momentum toward greater adoption of enabling technologies to support a new paradigm of trials that are more accessible, less burdensome, and more inclusive.

Abstract
Research has demonstrated links between patient-centered communication (PCC) and patients' health outcomes. However, little is known about the underlying processes that may mediate the relationship. This study is one of the first to examine the influence of PCC on older adults' health outcomes, as well as the mediation role of health competence, from a longitudinal perspective. With a general basis of Street et al.'s pathway model, we proposed and tested mediation pathways linking patient-centered communication to the older population's general and mental health, mediated by health competence. Data from 2011, 2017 and 2020 iterations of the Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS) were used for this study. This study focused on older adults aged 60 and above. Results indicated that after controlling participants' age, gender, education, income and race, PCC is related to the older people's health outcomes either directly or indirectly, irrespective of time series. Specifically, health competence was found to significantly mediate the associations between PCC and the older adults' general health or mental health over the three iterations. Noteworthily, findings from this study also revealed that different dimensions of PCC might exert different influences on older patients' health competence and health outcomes.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Sexual and reproductive health (SRH) misperceptions constitute a critical precursor to undesired health outcomes for women. Drawing on the model of stigma management communication and exposure effects, we aimed to investigate the underlying processes of SRH misperceptions. METHODS A nationwide survey was conducted via quota sampling with Chinese women (N = 1000). Structural equation modeling with maximum likelihood estimation and 5000 bootstrapping resamples were used to test the hypotheses. RESULTS Stigma perceptions positively predicted information avoidance (β = 0.207, p < 0.001), which, in turn, was positively associated with misperceptions (β = 0.195, p < 0.001). Misinformation exposure significantly predicted misperceptions (β = 0.607, p < 0.001), and this relationship was mediated by information avoidance (β = 0.020, 95% CI [0.007, 0.040]). Moreover, information overload strengthened the relationship between misinformation exposure and information avoidance (β = 0.153, p < 0.001) as well as the relationship between misinformation exposure and misperceptions (β = 0.077, p = 0.006). CONCLUSION Stigma and misinformation exposure play prominent roles in the formation of SRH misperceptions. Information overload facilitates the misinformation-misperception transformation. PRACTICE IMPLICATIONS To counteract SRH misperceptions, health education should alleviate SRH stigma perceptions and strategically design messages to avoid information avoidance and overload.

Abstract
In the current media environment, some individuals have shifted from actively monitoring news toward passively waiting for the media to alert them about news to a certain extent, forming a "news-finds-me" (NFM) perception. Drawing on a cross-sectional survey (N = 906) of adults from the United States, this study investigates the relationship between the NFM perception and COVID-19 misperceptions. Findings demonstrated a positive association between NFM perception and misperceptions. Moreover, information avoidance mediated the relationship between NFM and misperception. Finally, need for cognition (NFC) was a significant moderator, such that among those with greater NFC, the indirect effect of NFM perception on misperceptions became weaker. Findings of this study can contribute to the literature of NFM perception in health contexts and provide useful guidelines for combating misinformation and misperceptions in the algorithm-generated information environment.

Abstract
Cholesterol is an important part of the human diet. The relationship and molecular mechanisms between intracellular cholesterol and male infertility are unclear. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) in male infertility. Both wild-type (WT) and LDLR heterozygous deletion (LDLR+/-) male Golden Syrian hamsters were fed either a high-fat diet (HFD) or a normal diet (ND). Plasma biochemistry, serum hormone, testicular histopathology, mRNA and protein expression of AMPK/Sirt1/PGC-1α in both testicular tissue and isolated Leydig cells (LCs) were measured. Compared with the ND animals, the WT HFD hamsters developed dyslipidemia at three weeks with lipid droplets deposited in LCs, testosterone decreased at four weeks (0.440 ± 0.264 ng/ml vs. 2.367 ± 1.236 ng/ml), the number of the Sertoli cells decreased (21.578 ± 2.934/one tubule vs. 25.733 ± 3.424/one tubule), the seminiferous epithelium became thinner (0.0813 ± 0.01729 mm vs. 0.0944 ± 0.0138 mm), testicular atrophy and AMPK/Sirt1/PGC-1α pathway downregulated at five weeks. All these changes persisted until the end of the study. LDLR+/- alleviated all of the above changes by downregulating the cellular influx of cholesterol induced by HFD except for higher hyperlipidemia. In summary, excessive intracellular cholesterol inactivates AMPK/Sirt1/PGC-1α pathway firstly in LCs and then in both Sertoli and spermatids. Cholesterol toxicity was LDLR dependent.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the lifespan of erythrocytes in megaloblastic anemia (MA) patients. Methods: A prospective cohort study analysis. Clinical data from 42 MA patients who were newly diagnosed at the Department of Hematology, Lanzhou University Second Hospital from January 2021 to August 2021 were analyzed, as were control data from 24 healthy volunteers acquired during the same period. The carbon monoxide breath test was used to measure erythrocyte lifespan, and correlations between erythrocyte lifespan and laboratory test indexes before and after treatment were calculated. Statistical analysis included the t-test and Pearson correlation. Results: The mean erythrocyte lifespan in the 42 newly diagnosed MA patients was (49.05±41.60) d, which was significantly shorter than that in the healthy control group [(104.13±42.62) d; t=5.13,P=0.001]. In a vitamin B12-deficient subset of MA patients the mean erythrocyte lifespan was (30.09±15.14) d, and in a folic acid-deficient subgroup it was (72.00±51.44) d, and the difference between these two MA subsets was significant (t=3.73, P=0.001). The mean erythrocyte lifespan after MA treatment was (101.28±33.02) d, which differed significantly from that before MA treatment (t=4.72, P=0.001). In MA patients erythrocyte lifespan was positively correlated with hemoglobin concentration (r=0.373), and negatively correlated with total bilirubin level (r=-0.425), indirect bilirubin level (r=-0.431), and lactate dehydrogenase level (r=-0.504) (all P<0.05). Conclusions: Erythrocyte lifespan was shortened in MA patients, and there was a significant difference between a vitamin B12-deficient group and a folic acid-deficient group. After treatment the erythrocyte lifespan can return to normal. Erythrocyte lifespan is expected to become an informative index for the diagnosis and treatment of MA.

Abstract
This study attempts to design effective messages to promote condom negotiation self-efficacy and safer sex intent among young women in China. An online experiment with 2 (descriptive norm: present versus absent) × 2 (traditional sexual value: high versus low) between-subjects factorial design was conducted on a purposive sample of 241 female Chinese college students. The results demonstrated that culturally tailored messages incorporating descriptive norms information on the popularity of condom negotiation can increase participants' self-efficacy (F(1,237) = 9.01, partial η2 = 0.04, P = 0.003) but not safer sex intent (F(1,237) = 2.80, partial η2 = 0.01, P = 0.096). Participants with a lower level of traditional sexual values had similar levels of condom negotiation self-efficacy as those with a higher level of values: F(1,237) = 2.85, partial η2 = 0.01, P = 0.09. There were no significant interaction effects of traditional sexual value and descriptive norm on condom negotiation self-efficacy and safer sex intent. The findings contribute to the cultural sensitivity perspective in health education in an Eastern context and have implications for public health practitioners and policymakers.

Abstract
Background Factor (F)XI contributes to thrombosis development while it plays a limited role in normal hemostasis. FXI targeting has the potential for preventing and treating thrombosis with little bleeding risk. Objectives The aim of this study was to develop novel antibody therapeutics against FXI for the treatment of thrombosis-related diseases. Methods Mouse hybridoma technology was applied to screen for anti-FXI antibodies. Surface plasma resonance, enzyme inhibition, activated partial thromboplastin time, and prothrombin time assays were conducted to characterize the binding affinity and activity of antibodies. A cynomolgus monkey arterial venous shunt model was applied to validate the antithrombotic activities. Results A humanized antibody, BJTJ-1837, reported here bound to the protease domain of FXI and activated FXI with high affinity. BJTJ-1837 fully inhibited the activation of FXI by activated FXII and thrombin. BJTJ-1837 also demonstrated strong anticoagulant activity in human and cynomolgus monkey plasma as measured by activated partial thromboplastin time. Moreover, BJTJ-1837 showed favorable antithrombotic activity with a dose-dependent protection in an arterial venous shunt thrombosis model in cynomolgus monkeys without the bleeding adverse effect. Furthermore, BJTJ-1837 displayed favorable pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties and good developability. Conclusion As a potential antithrombotic therapeutic agent with a safe profile, BJTJ-1837 is a very promising FXI activation-blocking antibody candidate.

Abstract
A normal phosphorylation state is essential for the function of proteins. Biased regulation frequently results in morbidity, especially for the hyperphosphorylation of oncoproteins. The hyperphosphorylation of ASK1 at Thr838 leads to a persistently high activity state, which accelerates the course of gastric cancer. Under normal conditions, PP5 specifically dephosphorylates p-ASK1T838 in cells, thereby weakening ASK1 to a low-basal activity state. However, in tumor types, PP5 shows low activity with a self-inhibition mechanism, making p-ASK1T838 remain at a high level. Thus, we aim to design phosphatase recruitment chimeras (PHORCs) through a proximity-mediated effect for specifically accelerating the dephosphorylation of p-ASK1T838. Herein, we describe DDO3711 as the first PP5-recruiting PHORC, which is formed by connecting a small molecular ASK1 inhibitor to a PP5 activator through a chemical linker, to effectively decrease the level of p-ASK1T838 in vitro and in vivo. DDO3711 shows preferable antiproliferative activity (IC50 = 0.5 μM) against MKN45 cells through a direct binding and proximity-mediated mechanism, while the ASK1 inhibitor and the PP5 activator, used alone or in combination, exhibit no effect on MKN45 cells. Using DDO3711, PHORCs are identified as effective tools to accelerate the dephosphorylation of POIs and provide important evidence to achieve precise phosphorylation regulation, which will promote confidence in the further regulation of abnormally phosphorylated oncoproteins.

[Comparison of pathogenicity and gene expression profiles between adult Schistosoma japonicum isolated from hilly and marshland and lake regions of Anhui Province]. Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare the differences in pathogenicity and gene expression profiles between adult Schistosoma japonicum isolated from hilly and marshland and lake regions of Anhui Province, so as to provide the scientific evidence for formulating the precise schistosomiasis control strategy in different endemic foci. METHODS C57BL/6 mice were infected with cercariae of S. japonicum isolates from Shitai County (hilly regions) and Susong County (marshland and lake regions) of Anhui Province in 2021, and all mice were sacrificed 44 days post-infection and dissected. The worm burdens, number of S. japonicum eggs deposited in the liver, and the area of egg granulomas in the liver were measured to compare the difference in the pathogenicity between the two isolates. In addition, female and male adult S. japonicum worms were collected and subjected to transcriptome sequencing, and the gene expression profiles were compared between Shitai and Susong isolates of S. japonicum. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were subjected to Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analyses. RESULTS The total worm burdens [(14.50 ± 3.96) worms/mouse vs. (16.10 ± 3.78) worms/mouse; t = 0.877, P = 0.392], number of female and male paired worms [(4.50 ± 0.67) worms/mouse vs. (5.10 ± 1.45) worms/mouse; t = 1.129, P = 0.280], number of unpaired male worms [(5.50 ± 4.01) worms/mouse vs. (5.60 ± 1.69) worms/mouse; t = 0.069, P = 0.946], number of eggs deposited in per gram liver [(12 116.70 ± 6 508.83) eggs vs. (16 696.70 ± 4 571.56) eggs; t = 1.821, P = 0.085], and area of a single egg granuloma in the liver [(74 359.40 ± 11 766.34) µm2 vs. (74 836.90 ± 13 086.12) µm2; t = 0.081, P = 0.936] were comparable between Shitai and Susong isolates of S. japonicum. Transcriptome sequencing identified 584 DEGs between adult female worms and 1 598 DEGs between adult male worms of Shitai and Susong isolates of S. japonicum. GO enrichment analysis showed that the DEGs between female adults were predominantly enriched in biological processes of stimulus response, cytotoxicity, multiple cell biological processes, metabolic processes, cellular processes and signaling pathways, cellular components of cell, organelles and cell membranes and molecular functions of binding and catalytic ability, and KEGG enrichment analysis showed that these DEGs were significantly enriched in pathways of vascular endothelial growth factor signaling, glutathione metabolism, arginine and proline metabolism. In addition, the DEGs between male adults were predominantly enriched in biological processes of signaling transduction, multiple cell biological processes, regulation of biological processes, metabolic processes, development processes and stimulus responses, cellular components of extracellular matrix and cell junction and molecular functions of binding and catalytic ability, and these DEGs were significantly enriched in pathways of Wnt signaling, Ras signaling, natural killer cells-mediated cytotoxicity, extracellular matrix-receptor interactions and arginine biosynthesis. CONCLUSIONS There is no significant difference in the pathogenicity between S. japonicum isolates from hilly and marshland and lake regions of Anhui Province; however, the gene expression profiles vary significantly between S. japonicum isolates.

Abstract
Shiguzhai Hui Ju Jian Bian Dan Fang, was the only medical book for prescription and formula collected and compiled by Wu Mianxue in the period of the Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1573-1620). It had seven volumes in total with six of them popular at that time. The volumes contained 1,460 folk formula and clinical prescriptions which were divided into 111 categories based on their corresponding symptoms of diseases. The set was issued in the beginning of the 17th century, with only three subsets of the volumes left in China today. The three remained versions were the subset of volumes 4-5 left in the Ming Dynasty in the Medical College of Tianjin, the subset of volumes 1-2 and 6-7, with preface, left in the seventeenth of the Shun Zhi Period in the Qing Dynasty (1660) in the Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine and the subset of volumes 4 and 6-7 from time unknown. Additionally, three unabridged versions were found in the Cabinet Library of the National Archives of Japan. They were the Ming version with preface of the seventeenth of the Shun Zhi Period in the Qing Dynasty and a hand-copied version left in the Edo period. It was found that the preface in the seventeenth of the Shun Zhi Period in the Qing Dynasty in both of these versions in China as well as the version in Japan, were counterfeit. The main texts in these versions were edited according to the Ming version. The hand-copied version in Japan was transcribed by Kasahara Eisan and edited by Tanba Motoken according to the Ming version in the late Edo Period.

Abstract
Drawing upon uses and gratifications perspectives and socioemotional selectivity theory, this study examined the differences in the use of Facebook features among younger, middle-aged, and older adults. Furthermore, it explored the association between Facebook activities and users’ perceived enjoyment for different age groups. An online survey was conducted with 647 Facebook users in the United States. An exploratory factor analysis identified four types of Facebook activities: broadcasting, directed communication, content consumption, and information regulation. The results revealed that younger users’ broadcasting, content consumption, and information regulation activities substantially differed from those of older users. In addition, broadcasting and content consumption activities were more popular among younger users and more predictive of their enjoyment. Directed communication was more powerful in predicting middle-aged and older users’ enjoyment. However, younger and middle-aged users’ engagement with information regulation activities was negatively related to their enjoyment of Facebook. The study findings provide more nuanced knowledge regarding user experiences on social media platforms among specified age groups and practical insights into the improvement of social media by addressing their different needs.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the prevalence of Schistosoma japonicum infection in wild mice in Shitai County, Anhui Province, so as to provide insights into precise control of the source of S. japonicum infections. METHODS Wild mice were captured using the trapping method for three successive nights at snail-infested settings from Jitan Village of Jitan Township, and Shiquan Village and Xibai Village of Dingxiang Township, Shitai County, Anhui Province in June and October, 2018. All trapped wild mice were sacrificed and liver and mesenteric vein specimens were collected for detection of S. japonicum eggs using microscopy, while the fecal samples in mouse intestines were collected for identification of S. japonicum infections using Kato-Katz technique. In addition, the population density of trapped wild mice was estimated and the prevalence of S. japonicum infection was calculated in trapped wild mice. RESULTS A total of 376 wild mice were trapped from three villages in Shitai County. The population density of trapped wild mice was 9.1% (376/4 124), and the prevalence of S. japonicum infection was 24.2% (91/376) in trapped wild mice. The highest prevalence of S. japonicum infection was detected in Shiquan Village of Dingxiang Township (30.1%), and the lowest prevalence was seen in Xibai Village of Dingxiang Township; however, there was no significant difference in the prevalence of S. japonicum infection in trapped wild mice among three villages (χ2= 4.111, P > 0.05). In addition, there was no significant difference in the prevalence of S. japonicum infection in wild mice captured between on June (26.8%, 34/127) and October (22.9%, 57/249) (χ2 = 0.690, P = 0.406). The trapped wild mice included 6 species, including Rattus norvegicus, Niviventer niviventer, R. losea, Apodemus agrarius, Mus musculus and N. coning, and the two highest prevalence of S. japonicum infection was detected in R. losea (34.9%, 22/63) and R. norvegicus (31.2%, 44/141). CONCLUSIONS The prevalence of S. japonicum infections is high in wild mice in Shitai County, and there is a natural focus of schistosomiasis transmission in Shitai County.

Abstract
Human epididymis protein 4(HE4) is a secretory glycoprotein found in human distal epididymis epithelial cells. It is often used in the early diagnosis, efficacy evaluation and monitoring of ovarian cancer, and also has been considered as an effective serum marker for many other types of cancer. However, its function in the process of sperm maturation is not fully unknown. The maturation of sperm in epididymis is characterized by the acquisition of motility and fertilization. As a member of the whey acid protein (WAP) family, several studies proposed the importance of HE4 in the maturity of sperm in epididymis. This article reviews the effect of HE4 on spermatozoa maturation in epididymis, which provides basis for the evaluation of male reproductive ability, early detection, early diagnosis and pathogenesis of male infertility.

Abstract
Epitope mapping of the interactions between severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Abs is challenging because of complexity in protein three-dimensional structures. Protein structure fingerprint technology was applied for epitope mapping of 44 SARS-CoV-2 Abs with three-dimensional structure complexes. The results defined how the epitopes were distributed on SARS-CoV-2 and how the patterns of six CDRs from Abs participated in neutralization. Also, the residue-residue recognition revealed that certain residues had higher frequencies on the interfaces between SARS-CoV-2 and Abs, and the activity correlated with the physicochemical properties of the residues at the interface. Thus, epitope mapping provides significant lead information for development of epitope-based designs for Abs, vaccines, and diagnostic reagents. This is a bioinformatics project of structural data analysis; no animals or cells were used.

Abstract
While public health communication has been suggested to be a key for improving acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination, this study tested mediation pathways through which three types of vaccine information acquisition, i.e. seeking, scanning, and discussing, affect COVID-19 vaccination intention. The pathways comprise two mediators, i.e. anticipated regret due to inaction and collective responsibility. Results suggest that information seeking and discussing may have encouraged the intention to get vaccinated, but mainly indirectly through the two mediators. Information seeking and discussing may have elicited anticipated regret and collective responsibility, which in turn increased vaccination intention. The paths from information scanning were smaller in effect sizes and statistically unacknowledged. Implications and limitations are discussed.

Abstract
Drawn upon the cognitive mediation model, this study proposes an adapted model and examines the mechanisms by which Chinese women's risk perception of breast cancer becomes associated with their breast cancer examination intention. Our hypothesized model was largely supported by an online survey with a nationwide sample of 458 Chinese women. The results indicated that a person's perceived risk for breast cancer motivated information seeking and scanning using various mass media and online channels, which then positively predicted the person's quest for greater elaboration and more interpersonal discussion. In addition, elaboration was positively associated with breast cancer-related factual knowledge and subjective norms, whereas interpersonal discussion only exerted a positive relationship with subjective norms but not factual knowledge. As predicted, knowledge and subjective norms were positively associated with people's intentions to pursue breast cancer examination. Future research should consider both information seeking and scanning in the process of media learning and reflection. In addition to intrapersonal factors like knowledge, the interpersonal reasoning process that cultivates a favorable social influence is pivotal in promoting breast cancer examination in China.

Abstract
Introduction CD73 and adenosine support growth-promoting neovascularization, metastasis, and survival in cells, and promote anti-PD-1 mAb therapy-induced immune escape. Consequently, developing a CD73 inhibitor as monotherapy and a potential beneficial combination partner with immune-checkpoint inhibitors needs investigation. Methods CD73 inhibitors were evaluated in vitro with soluble and membrane-bound CD73 enzymes, as well as its PD biomarker responses in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) by flow cytometry and ELISA. The binding modes of the molecules were analyzed via molecular modeling. The anti-tumor activity and synergistic effect of SHR170008 in combination with anti-PD-1 mAb were evaluated in a syngeneic mouse breast cancer model. Results SHR170008 was discovered during the initial structural modifications on the link between the ribose and the α-phosphate of AMPCP, which significantly improved the stability of the compound confirmed by the metabolite identification study. Further modifications on the adenine base of AMPCP improved the potency due to forming stronger interactions with CD73 protein. It exhibited potent inhibitory activities on soluble and endogenous membrane-bound CD73 enzymes, and induced IFNγ production, reversed AMP-suppressed CD25+ and CD8+/CD25+ expression, and enhanced granzyme B production on CD8+ T cells in human PBMC. SHR170008 showed dose-dependent anti-tumor efficacy with suppression of adenosine in the tumors in EMT6 mouse breast tumor model. The increase of adenosine in tumor tissue by anti-PD-1 mAb alone was suppressed by SHR170008 in the combination groups. Simultaneous inhibition of CD73 and PD-1 neutralization synergistically enhanced antitumor immunity and biomarkers in response, and exposures of SHR170008 were correlated with the efficacy readouts. Conclusion Our findings suggest that CD73 may serve as an immune checkpoint by generating adenosine, which suppresses the antitumor activity of anti-PD-1 mAb, and inhibition of CD73 may be a potential beneficial combination partner with immune-checkpoint inhibitors to improve their therapeutic outcomes in general.

Abstract
Among numerous posttranslational regulation patterns, phosphorylation is reversibly controlled by the balance of kinases and phosphatases. The major form of cellular signaling involves the reversible phosphorylation of proteins on tyrosine, serine, or threonine residues. However, altered phosphorylation levels are found in diverse diseases, including cancer, making kinases and phosphatases ideal drug targets. In contrast to the success of prosperous kinase inhibitors, design of small molecules targeting phosphatase is struggling due to past bias and difficulty. This is especially true for serine/threonine phosphatases, one of the largest phosphatase families. From this perspective, we aim to provide insights into serine/threonine phosphatases and the small molecules targeting these proteins for drug development, especially in cancer. Through highlighting the modulation strategies, we aim to provide basic principles for the design of small molecules and future perspectives for the application of drugs targeting serine/threonine phosphatases.

Abstract
This study aims to understand how the valence of self-disclosure (operationalized as the dominantly positive vs. balanced vs. dominantly negative social media posts of a future collaborator) influences first impression formation on social media. We also focus on trustworthiness as a mediator and perceived homophily as a moderator to specify the underlying mechanisms through which self-disclosure valence affects first impression formation. The results from an online experiment (N = 204) suggest that self-disclosure valence has a significant effect on perceived trustworthiness and likability when individuals evaluate an unknown future collaborator using the social media profile. Trustworthiness mediates the effect of self-disclosure valence on likability when the individuals feel that they are dissimilar or even slightly similar to strangers. At that time, individuals tend to seek cues from both self-disclosure valence and perceived homophily to form the trustworthiness perception, and the influence of self-disclosure depends on the level of perceived homophily.

Abstract
The existing research routinely measures the influence of health information-seeking behavior (HISB) as a whole, which does not capture the complexity and diversity of media channel usage in HISB. The influence of HISB on patient's lifestyle behaviors and the mediation process through patient-centered communication (PCC) in medical encounters has been understudied in previous literature. Drawing from Street's three-stage model, this study conducted a secondary analysis of the Health Information National Trends Survey in China to investigate the influences of HISB across five different media outlets (e.g. information-oriented media, entertainment-oriented media, search engines, social media and mobile health applications) on two types of healthy lifestyles (e.g. physical activity, fruit and vegetable consumption), by the mediation of PCC. PROCESS path-analysis with bootstrapping estimation was used to test the hypothesized relationships. The results revealed that HISB is positively related to PCC, and PCC positively predicts frequent engagement in healthy lifestyles. Moreover, PCC partially mediates the effect of information-oriented media HISB on healthy lifestyles and fully mediates the effect of HISB through the other four media sources. This study highlights the essential stage of PCC transferring HISB to engagement in healthy lifestyles and draws attention to the varying influences of media channels carrying different characteristics.

Abstract
This study aims to examine how the users' engagement with health information benefits their well-being and to demonstrate the underlying mechanism of the relationships through bonding and bridging social capital. An online survey was conducted with 522 WeChat users in China. Structural equation modeling using the maximum likelihood of estimation was employed to test the study's hypothesized model. Bootstrapping methods were used to examine mediation effects. The results revealed that users' liking, sharing, and commenting behaviors were positively related to the bonding and bridging capital accumulated on WeChat. These two forms of social capital were also positively associated with users' psychological well-being, though bridging capital exerted more power in our research model. Moreover, both bonding and bridging capital mediated the relationship between WeChat affordances and psychological well-being. The findings shed new light on directions for leveraging mobile social media as an alternative means to bring about improvements in well-being in mobile-phone-saturated China. This is likely to be the first study that examines the mediating roles of bonding and bridging social capital on the relationship between users' health information engagement and users' psychological well-being. By providing robust findings by adopting the variable-centered approach in a health context, the findings of this study are promising for the extension and theoretical development of mobile social media research in the context of health information engagement.

Abstract
In this study, a series of novel hydroxyamidine derivatives were identified as potent and selective IDO1 inhibitors by structure-based drug design. Among them, compounds 13-15 and 18 exhibited favorable enzymatic and cellular activities. Compound 18 showed improved bioavailability in mouse, rat, and dog (F% = 44%, 58.8%, 102.1%, respectively). With reasonable in vivo pharmacokinetic properties, compound 18 was further evaluated in a transgenic MC38 xenograft mouse model. The combination of compound 18 with PD-1 monoclonal antibody showed a synergistic antitumor effect. These data indicated that compound 18 as a potential cancer immunotherapy agent should warrant further investigation.

Abstract
A sensitivity- and resolution-improving method for a low-frequency micro-vibration accelerometer is presented in this paper. A sensitivity model of the measurement system is derived and established. The key parameters that limit the sensitivity and the resolution of the accelerometer were identified through the sensitivity coefficient analysis method. The structural parameters and the signal process method were then optimized. Experimental results show that the sensitivity of the accelerometer has improved from 1.10 V/(m/s2) to 19.21 V/(m/s2), and the resolution has improved from 1.47 mm/s2 to 0.21 mm/s2. The lowest working frequency range has expanded from 1 Hz to 0.7 Hz. The presented method is effective and cheap and can be applied to other sensors.

Abstract
Analgesics with no abuse liability are highly demanded in the market. KOR agonists have been proved to be strong analgesics without MOR agonist-related side effects, such as respiratory depression, tolerance, and dependence liability; however, activation of KOR in the central nervous system (CNS) may cause sedation and anxiety. It has been reported that peripheral KOR activation produces comparable bioactivity without CNS-related side effects. Herein, we designed and synthesized a novel tetrapeptide (SHR0687), which was shown to be a highly potent KOR agonist with excellent selectivity over other opioid receptors, such as MOR and DOR. In addition, SHR0687 displayed favorable PK profiles across species, as well as robust in vivo efficacy in a rat carrageenan-induced pain model. Notably, SHR0687 exhibited negligible blood-brain barrier penetration, which was meaningful in minimizing CNS-related side effects.

Currently, selectively disrupting HSP90-CDC37 PPI, rather than the direct inhibition of the ATPase function of HSP90, is emerging as a promising strategy for cancer therapy by specifically blocking the maturation of kinases. However, due to the limited understanding of HSP90-CDC37 binding interface, design of small molecule inhibitors targeting HSP90-CDC37 PPI is challenging. In this work, based on the binding mode of compound 11 (previously reported by our group), we discovered a hydrophobic pocket centered on Phe213, which was previously unknown, contributing to the binding affinity of HSP90-CDC37 PPI inhibitors. A series of hydrophobic substituted inhibitors were utilized to confirm the importance of Phe213 hydrophobic core. Finally, we obtained an optimum compound DDO-5994 (exhibited an ideal binding pattern on hydrophobic core) with improved binding affinity (KD = 5.52 μM) and antiproliferative activity (IC50 = 6.34 μM). Both in vitro and in vivo assays confirmed DDO-5994 as a promising inhibitor to exhibit ideal antitumor efficacy through blocking HSP90-CDC37 PPI.

Abstract
This study examines the SNS activities of Singaporean women to assess how they perceive the risk of Zika virus infection based on the consumption of Zika-related news. Results from an online survey (N = 510) confirmed that third-person risk perception exists among study participants. Individual posting of ZIKA-related news on SNSs was negatively associated with third-person perception. Additionally, third-person perception was negatively correlated with preventive behavioral intention. A moderated mediation model analysis revealed that attention to ZIKA-related news on SNSs significantly moderates the indirect relationship between posting news of ZIKA on SNSs and preventive behavioral intention. The findings of this study are expected to increase the understanding of the third-person effect in the context of infectious diseases based on users' SNS activities.

Abstract
Guided by the three-stage model and the integration of key constructs from the Health Belief Model, this study proposed a conceptual model to delve into the underlying mechanism linking health information seeking to psychological well-being. A nationwide online survey was administered, involving 522 WeChat users in China. The results of structural equation modeling analysis showed that health consciousness and WeChat health information reliability are significant antecedents predicting users' health information-seeking actions on WeChat, while perceived susceptibility, severity, and self-efficacy did not have significant relationships with such behavior. As predicted, the positive relationship between WeChat health information seeking and psychological well-being is mediated by perceived social support. The findings of this study provide both theoretical and practical implications to guide the use of mobile social media as a milieu for health improvement.

Abstract
Given the myriad of media channels and available health information, it is important to investigate how health consumers navigate and choose from multiple media channels in seeking health information and their preferences among different media sources. Previous research has routinely measured health information-seeking behavior (HISB), especially online health information seeking as a whole, which does not capture the complexity and diversity of media channels used in HISB. On the basis of the channel complementarity theory, this study further classified new media into search engines, social media, and mobile health applications. The results of a secondary analysis of the Health Information National Trends Survey in China (HINTS-China) reinforced the occurrence of media complementary between information-oriented media (newspapers and magazines) and entertainment-oriented media (television). In addition, people used traditional media complementarily with new media, except information-oriented media and search engine use exhibited a displacement relationship. Moreover, the results indicated different profiles of health information seekers varied according to the diverse media channels, although media trust, perceived poor health status, chronic disease, and family cancer history consistently propelled HISB for both online and offline media channels. Implications for theory and practice for health communication were discussed.

Abstract
Purpose Camrelizumab inhibits PD-1 in non-clinical models and showed typical non-clinical pharmacokinetic (PK) and safety profiles for an IgG4 monoclonal antibody. We report results from the First-in-Human Phase 1 trial of camrelizumab in Australian population. Methods Camrelizumab was administered to patients with advanced solid tumors who had failed standard therapies. In the dose-escalation phase (n=23), camrelizumab was administered intravenously at 1 mg/kg, 3 mg/kg, 6 mg/kg, and 10 mg/kg every 2 weeks. In dose expansion (n=26), camrelizumab was given at 200 mg or 600 mg every 4 weeks. Results Two dose-limiting toxicities were observed during dose escalation: transaminase elevation and diarrhea (both grade 3). Overall, treatment-related adverse events were consistent with the expected toxicity profile of immune checkpoint inhibition, with the striking exception of the dose-related development of angiomatous skin lesions characterized as reactive cutaneous capillary endothelial proliferation. The PK profile showed a dose-progressive increase in half-life from 3 days at 1 mg/kg to 7 days at 10 mg/kg. Moreover, receptor occupancy assays showed a PD-1 occupancy of >50% in most patients out to 28 days post-dose. The objective response rate was 15.2% (95% CI 6.3–28.9). Conclusion Camrelizumab has manageable toxicity and encouraging preliminary antitumor activity in advanced solid tumors in Australia. Abstract
As one of the largest mobile social media in the world, WeChat holds great potential for promoting health. Users not only seek and exchange health information on WeChat but also fulfill their health-related needs afforded by the platform. Using the two-step procedure common in uses and gratifications research, in-depth interviews were conducted with 18 WeChat users to explore their motivations for health-related uses on the platform, which were further rated by 522 WeChat users in China through a national wide online survey. Exploratory factor analysis identified five motivations: information seeking, building self-agency, social interaction, technological convenience, and self-expression. A series of hierarchical regression analyses reveals that social interaction is the best predictor of healthcare information engagement on WeChat, followed by building self-agency, information needs, and self-expression. The findings of this study contribute to the understanding of the psychological antecedents of using mobile social media for health-related purposes and the subsequent active behavior responses.

Abstract
In this Rapid Communication, the Rayleigh-Taylor instability (RTI) along the density interfaces of gravity current fronts is analyzed. Both the location and the spanwise wave number of the most unstable mode determined by the local dispersion relation agree with those of the strongest perturbation obtained from numerical simulations, suggesting that the original formation mechanism of lobes and clefts at the current front is RTI. Furthermore, the predictions of the semi-infinite RTI model, i.e., the original dominating spanwise wave number of the Boussinesq current substantially depends on the Prandtl number and has a 1/3 scaling law with the Grashof number, are confirmed by the three-dimensional numerical simulations.

Abstract
Objective: To understand the status of occupational health surveillance for workers on offshore platforms. Methods: The research period was from 2014 to 2016. From 2014 to 2016, a cross-sectional survey method was adopted to select 429 people for offshore oil production, drilling and operation platforms and their first-line workers to conduct workplace occupational hygiene. Investigation, occupational hazard factor testing, occupational health check of workers, collation and statistical analysis of surveys and test data, and comparison of occupational health surveillance among workers of different types of offshore platforms. Results: From 2014 to 2016, the results of chemical harmful factors detection of occupational diseases in the offshore platform were in line with the national occupational health exposure limit requirements. The noise of some platform posts exceeded the standard, such as: oil platform oil, oil and oil and gas processing workers, diesel engines for drilling and working platforms. Worker noise exceeds national occupational health limits p[L(ex, 8 h)>85 dB(A)].There was a statistically significant difference in the occupational health of workers on the same platform with the age and length of service (P<0.05). Conclusion: Workers on different platforms at sea may be subject to different levels of occupational health damage, and the occupational hazards brought by noise to platform workers are particularly prominent.

Abstract
A novel series of imidazoisoindoles were identified as potent indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) inhibitors. Lead optimization toward improving potency and eliminating CYP inhibition resulted in the discovery of lead compound 25, a highly potent IDO inhibitor with favorable pharmacokinetic properties. In the MC38 xenograft model in hPD-1 transgenic mice, 25 in combination with the anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody (SHR-1210) achieved a synergistic antitumor effect superior to each single agent.

Abstract
The oxytocin receptor (OTR) plays a major role in the control of male sexual responses. Antagonists of the OTR have been reported to inhibit ejaculation in animal models and serve as a potential treatment for premature ejaculation (PE). Herein, we describe a novel scaffold featuring an aryl substituted 3-azabicyclo [3.1.0] hexane structure. The lead compound, SHR1653, was shown to be a highly potent OTR antagonist, which exhibited excellent selectivity over V1AR, V1BR, and V2R. This novel molecule was shown to have a favorable pharmacokinetic profile across species, as well as robust in vivo efficacy in a rat uterine contraction model. Interestingly, SHR1653 exhibited excellent blood-brain barrier penetration, which might be beneficial for the treatment of CNS-related PE.

Abstract
Although inhibiting EGFR-mediated signaling proved to be effective in treating certain types of cancers, a quickly evolved mechanism that either restores the EGFR signaling or activates an alternative pathway for driving the proliferation and survival of malignant cells limits the efficacy and utility of the approach via suppressing the EGFR functionality. Given the fact that overexpression of EGFR is commonly seen in many cancers, an EGFR-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) can selectively kill cancer cells independently of blocking EGFR-mediated signaling. Herein, we describe SHR-A1307, a novel anti-EGFR ADC, generated from an anti-EGFR antibody with prolonged half-life, and conjugated with a proprietary toxin payload that has increased index of EGFR targeting-dependent versus EGFR targeting-independent cytotoxicity. SHR-A1307 demonstrated strong and sustained antitumor activities in EGFR-positive tumors harboring different oncogenic mutations on EGFR, KRAS, or PIK3CA. Antitumor efficacy of SHR-A1307 correlated with EGFR expression levels in vitro and in vivo, regardless of the mutation status of EGFR signaling mediators and a resultant resistance to EGFR signaling inhibitors. Cynomolgus monkey toxicology study showed that SHR-A1307 is well tolerated with a wide therapeutic index. SHR-A1307 is a promising therapeutic option for EGFR-expressing cancers, including those resistant or refractory to the EGFR pathway inhibitors.

Abstract
Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety related measures by blocking mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B virus with high viral load and HBeAg positivity during pregnancy in Guizhou province. Methods: Outpatient and inpatient cases of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Obstetrics of Guizhou Medical University Affiliated Hospitals from May 2016 to July 2017 were retrospectively divided into intervention group, non-intervention group and non- hepatitis B pregnant women group; with 75 cases in each group. HBsAg and HBeAg were positive in the intervention group. Pregnant women with HBV DNA ≥10(6) IU/ml were treated with anti-HBV therapy for 24 to 28 weeks of gestation until delivery. According to oral drugs, they were divided into tenofovir (TDF) group or telbivudine (LDT) group, non-intervention group (HBsAg and HBeAg positive), HBV DNA positive pregnant women, pregnant women with no anti-HBV drugs, non-hepatitis B pregnant women (normal pregnant women without HBV infection). Infants and young children born to the three groups of women were immunized with the national viral hepatitis B action plan. The gestational weeks and Apgar scores at birth, delivery mode, feeding mode, sex and 7-months-old age were observed and counted. Serum hepatitis B markers (HBVM) and HBV DNA were quantitatively detected. HBVM was detected by time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay (TRFIA), and HBV DNA was detected by real-time PCR (FQ-PCR). The changes of liver parameters, HBsAg, HBeAg, HBV DNA, adverse drug reactions and treatment response of pregnant intervention group before medication (12-24 weeks of gestation), 4 weeks of medication (28-32 weeks of gestation), 36-40 weeks of gestation (36-40 weeks of gestation) were statistically calculated. A t-test was used to compare the data between the measurements. Data measurements within the groups were analyzed using rank -sum test. Results: In the intervention group, therapeutic medications showed no differences in demographic and clinical characteristics between TDF group and LDT group, including liver parameters, HBsAg, HBeAg and log10HBV DNA level. Compared with pre-treatment (TDF group: 4.84 ± 2.01; LDT group: 5.08 ± 1.99), TDF and LDT were significantly lower at the end of pregnancy (TDF group: 3.06 ± 0.66; LDT group: 3.51 ± 1.20). P < 0.05); and the treatment response rate was 100%. There were no serious adverse events in the intervention group. Infants and young children (7-months-old) in the intervention group had negative HBsAg, HBeAg and HBV DNA. The mother-to-child transmission rate of HBV was zero, with blocking rate of 100%. In addition, both infants and young children had different degrees of hepatitis B protective antibodies (anti-HBs, M: 144.33), and their antibody titers were higher than that of non-intervention group (anti-HBs, M: 65.91) and non-hepatitis B pregnant women (anti-HBs, M: 58.43). The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05), and there was no significant correlation between the use of antiviral and the way of delivery and feeding. Outcomes of mother-to-child transmission of HBV infection in infants and young children (7-months-old) delivered by three groups of pregnant women in the non-intervention groups had 20.0% (15/75)/ 17.3% (13/75) HBsAg/HBeAg positivity rate, and 17.3% (13/75) HBV DNA positivity rate. Overall, mother-to-child transmission rate of HBV infection was 20% (15/75). Furthermore, the relationship between mother's HBV DNA load and infant HBV infection in the non-intervention group showed mother's HBV DNA ≥10(6) IU/ml. Conclusion: In the non-intervention group, mother-to-child transmission of HBV occurred, and infected mothers HBV DNA was ≥106 IU/ml before delivery. This suggests that HBeAg positive and high load HBV DNA replication were independent risk factors for mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B. Therefore, prenatal drug intervention and postpartum standard immune blockade are necessary for high-risk pregnant women with hepatitis B to achieve zero mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B in real- clinical practice.

Abstract
An artificial diet formulated for continuous rearing of the predator Arma chinensis was inferior to natural prey when evaluated using life history parameters. A transcriptome analysis identified differentially expressed genes in diet-fed and prey-fed A. chinensis that were suggestive of molecular mechanisms underlying the nutritive impact of the artificial diet. Changes in the diet formulation were made based on the transcriptome analysis and tested using life history parameters. The quantity of pig liver, chicken egg, tuna fish, biotin, nicotinamide, vitamin B6, thiamine, riboflavin, vitamin C, L-glutamine, and sucrose was reduced, and wheat germ oil, calcium pantothenate and folic acid were increased. Ecuadorian shrimp was added as a partial substitute for tuna fish. Several parameters improved over six generations, including increased egg viability, and decreased egg and adult cannibalism. Additionally, several parameters declined, including longer developmental times for 2nd-5th instars, and decreased nymphal weights. The improvements in life history parameters support the use of transcriptome analyses to help direct formulation improvements. However, the decline in some parameters suggests that additional information, e.g., proteomic data, may be useful as well to maximize diet formulations.

Abstract
Objective: To Investigation of industrial sites involving coal tar pitch to detect PAHs in the occupational environment and to assess their occupational health risks to workers. Methods: Taking coal tar pitch enterprises as the research object, and making the occupational health field investigation and inspection. Detecting the 16 PAHs in the samples by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) , analyze the PAHs exposed dose of the workers in the place, and using cumulative toxic equivalent quantity method, loss of life expectancy method and carcinogenic risk factor method to assessment worker's occupational health risk. Results: In the 15 posts involved, Some workers' exposed to the total concentration of PAHs is higher than others, the maximum exposure concentration is 1931.45ng/m3. There are different hazard risk levels in different working post due to different processes.The lifetime risk of workers is significantly higher than the acceptable range. Some workers has higher carcinogenic risk and workers' life expectancy loss is up to 1033.95 hours. Conclusion: Part of the coal tar pitch workers exposed to higher concentrations of PAHs, and beyond the occupational exposure limits.And there is a high occupational health risk due to high exposure to PAHs.

Abstract
A novel series of benzofuran derived EZH2 inhibitors were discovered through a scaffold hopping approach based on the clinical compound of EPZ-6438. Further rational structure-activity relationship exploration and optimization led to the discovery of more potent EZH2 inhibitors with oral bioavailability in mice and rats. A lead compound EBI-2511 (compound 34) demonstrated excellent in vivo efficacy in Pfeiffer tumor Xenograft models in mouse and is under preclinical development for the treatment of cancers associated with EZH2 mutations.
