Abstract
Herein, a new centrosymmetric phase Na4Nb8P4O32 (referred to as CS-Na4Nb8P4O32) was obtained by a molten salt method, which is a polymorph of niobium phosphate bronze Na4Nb8P4O32. CS-Na4Nb8P4O32 displays high structural similarity to the noncentrosymmetric Na4Nb8P4O32 phase (referred to as NCS-Na4Nb8P4O32): Distorted NbO6 octahedra are corner-coordinated to form ReO3-type layers, which are further joined together by isolated PO4 tetrahedra. However, two polymorphous phases adopt different packings of structural units, resulting in distinct symmetries. NbO3 layers and PO4 tetrahedra are reversely arranged along the crystallographic a direction in CS-Na4Nb8P4O32, thereby producing a centrosymmetric structure. The reverse packing cancels out all contributions of dipole moments originating from the distorted NbO6 octahedra; NCS-Na4Nb8P4O32 exhibits the C2-rotation distribution of NbO3 layers and PO4 tetrahedra, thus generating a noncentrosymmetric and polar structure. The C2-rotation packing of structural units brings a constructive addition of the dipole moments, further obtaining large calculated independent second harmonic generation susceptibilities. The study of structural evolution deduced by the packings of structural units in polymorphous Na4Nb8P4O32 might provide valuable insights into polymorphism and structural regulation.

Deep learning-based facial analysis for predicting difficult videolaryngoscopy: a feasibility study. Anaesthesia 2024; 79:399-409. Abstract
While videolaryngoscopy has resulted in better overall success rates of tracheal intubation, airway assessment is still an important prerequisite for safe airway management. This study aimed to create an artificial intelligence model to identify difficult videolaryngoscopy using a neural network. Baseline characteristics, medical history, bedside examination and seven facial images were included as predictor variables. ResNet-18 was introduced to recognise images and extract features. Different machine learning algorithms were utilised to develop predictive models. A videolaryngoscopy view of Cormack-Lehane grade of 1 or 2 was classified as 'non-difficult', while grade 3 or 4 was classified as 'difficult'. A total of 5849 patients were included, of whom 5335 had non-difficult and 514 had difficult videolaryngoscopy. The facial model (only including facial images) using the Light Gradient Boosting Machine algorithm showed the highest area under the curve (95%CI) of 0.779 (0.733-0.825) with a sensitivity (95%CI) of 0.757 (0.650-0.845) and specificity (95%CI) of 0.721 (0.626-0.794) in the test set. Compared with bedside examination and multivariate scores (El-Ganzouri and Wilson), the facial model had significantly higher predictive performance (p < 0.001). Artificial intelligence-based facial analysis is a feasible technique for predicting difficulty during videolaryngoscopy, and the model developed using neural networks has higher predictive performance than traditional methods.

Abstract
This Letter presents the first study of Higgs boson production in association with a vector boson (V=W or Z) in the fully hadronic qqbb final state using data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb^{-1}. The vector bosons and Higgs bosons are each reconstructed as large-radius jets and tagged using jet substructure techniques. Dedicated tagging algorithms exploiting b-tagging properties are used to identify jets consistent with Higgs bosons decaying into bb[over ¯]. Dominant backgrounds from multijet production are determined directly from the data, and a likelihood fit to the jet mass distribution of Higgs boson candidates is used to extract the number of signal events. The VH production cross section is measured inclusively and differentially in several ranges of Higgs boson transverse momentum: 250-450, 450-650, and greater than 650 GeV. The inclusive signal yield relative to the standard model expectation is observed to be μ=1.4_{-0.9}^{+1.0} and the corresponding cross section is 3.1±1.3(stat)_{-1.4}^{+1.8}(syst) pb.

Abstract
ATLAS measured the centrality dependence of the dijet yield using 165 nb^{-1} of p+Pb data collected at sqrt[s_{NN}]=8.16 TeV in 2016. The event centrality, which reflects the p+Pb impact parameter, is characterized by the total transverse energy registered in the Pb-going side of the forward calorimeter. The central-to-peripheral ratio of the scaled dijet yields, R_{CP}, is evaluated, and the results are presented as a function of variables that reflect the kinematics of the initial hard parton scattering process. The R_{CP} shows a scaling with the Bjorken x of the parton originating from the proton, x_{p}, while no such trend is observed as a function of x_{Pb}. This analysis provides unique input to understanding the role of small proton spatial configurations in p+Pb collisions by covering parton momentum fractions from the valence region down to x_{p}∼10^{-3} and x_{Pb}∼4×10^{-4}.

Abstract
Searches for new resonances are performed using an unsupervised anomaly-detection technique. Events with at least one electron or muon are selected from 140 fb^{-1} of pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV recorded by ATLAS at the Large Hadron Collider. The approach involves training an autoencoder on data, and subsequently defining anomalous regions based on the reconstruction loss of the decoder. Studies focus on nine invariant mass spectra that contain pairs of objects consisting of one light jet or b jet and either one lepton (e,μ), photon, or second light jet or b jet in the anomalous regions. No significant deviations from the background hypotheses are observed. Limits on contributions from generic Gaussian signals with various widths of the resonance mass are obtained for nine invariant masses in the anomalous regions.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WZγ production and a measurement of its cross section using 140.1±1.2 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The WZγ production cross section, with both the W and Z bosons decaying leptonically, pp→WZγ→ℓ^{'}^{±}νℓ^{+}ℓ^{-}γ (ℓ^{(^{'})}=e, μ), is measured in a fiducial phase-space region defined such that the leptons and the photon have high transverse momentum and the photon is isolated. The cross section is found to be 2.01±0.30(stat)±0.16(syst) fb. The corresponding standard model predicted cross section calculated at next-to-leading order in perturbative quantum chromodynamics and at leading order in the electroweak coupling constant is 1.50±0.06 fb. The observed significance of the WZγ signal is 6.3σ, compared with an expected significance of 5.0σ.

Abstract
A measurement of the mass of the Higgs boson combining the H→ZZ^{*}→4ℓ and H→γγ decay channels is presented. The result is based on 140 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector during LHC run 2 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV combined with the run 1 ATLAS mass measurement, performed at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, yielding a Higgs boson mass of 125.11±0.09(stat)±0.06(syst)=125.11±0.11 GeV. This corresponds to a 0.09% precision achieved on this fundamental parameter of the Standard Model of particle physics.

Abstract
A search for events with a dark photon produced in association with a dark Higgs boson via rare decays of the standard model Z boson is presented, using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The dark boson decays into a pair of dark photons, and at least two of the three dark photons must each decay into a pair of electrons or muons, resulting in at least two same-flavor opposite-charge lepton pairs in the final state. The data are found to be consistent with the background prediction, and upper limits are set on the dark photon's coupling to the dark Higgs boson times the kinetic mixing between the standard model photon and the dark photon, α_{D}ϵ^{2}, in the dark photon mass range of [5, 40] GeV except for the ϒ mass window [8.8, 11.1] GeV. This search explores new parameter space not previously excluded by other experiments.

Abstract
Owing to the exterior self-trapped excitons (STEs) with adjustable fluorescence beams, low-dimensional ns2-metal halides have recently received considerable attention in solid-state light-emitting applications. However, the photoluminescence (PL) mechanism in metal halides remains a major challenge in achieving high efficiency and controllable PL properties because the excited-state energy of ns2 conformational ions varies inhomogeneously with their coordination environments. Here, a novel zero-dimensional (0D) lead-free bismuth-based Rb3BiCl6·0.5H2O crystal was reported as a pristine crystal to modulate the optical properties. By doping Sb3+ ions with 5s2 electrons into Rb3BiCl6·0.5H2O crystals, bright orange emission at room temperature was obtained with a photoluminescence quantum yield of 39.7%. Optical characterizations and theoretical studies show that the Sb3+ doping can suppress the strong exciton-phonon coupling, optimize the electronic energy band structure, improve the thermal activation energy, soften the structural lattice of the host crystals, deepen the STE states, and ultimately lead to strong photoluminescence. This work manifests a fruitful manipulation in ripening bismuth-based halides with high-efficiency PL properties, and the PL enhancement mechanisms will guide future research in the exploration of emerging luminescent materials.

Abstract
An alkali rare-earth phosphate K2RbSc(PO4)2 was successfully obtained as a derivative of glaserite-type K3Na(SO4)2 by co-substitution of K(1)O12 → RbO12, K(2)O10 → KO7, NaO6 → ScO6 and SO4 → PO4, while maintaining the original anionic framework. K2RbSc(PO4)2 exhibits a layered [Sc(PO4)2]∞ framework built from ScO6 octahedra and PO4 tetrahedra, with K and Rb residing in the interlayers. Its isostructural lanthanide analogues K2RbEr(PO4)2 and K2RbLu(PO4)2, inspired by an elemental substitution strategy, were also prepared by a high-temperature solid state reaction. The successful substitution indicates that the skeleton of K2RbSc(PO4)2 is stable with high structural tolerance, which can provide a possibility for substitution of resident ions to obtain diverse structural types and applications.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of single top quarks produced together with a photon, which directly probes the electroweak coupling of the top quark. The analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Requiring a photon with transverse momentum larger than 20 GeV and within the detector acceptance, the fiducial cross section is measured to be 688±23(stat) _{-71}^{+75}(syst) fb, to be compared with the standard model prediction of 515_{-42}^{+36} fb at next-to-leading order in QCD.

Abstract
This letter presents a measurement of the nuclear modification factor of large-radius jets in sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV Pb+Pb collisions by the ATLAS experiment. The measurement is performed using 1.72 nb^{-1} and 257 pb^{-1} of Pb+Pb and pp data, respectively. The large-radius jets are reconstructed with the anti-k_{t} algorithm using a radius parameter of R=1.0, by reclustering anti-k_{t} R=0.2 jets, and are measured over the transverse momentum (p_{T}) kinematic range of 158

Abstract
A key open question in the study of multiparticle production in high-energy pp collisions is the relationship between the "ridge"-i.e., the observed azimuthal correlations between particles in the underlying event that extend over all rapidities-and hard or semihard scattering processes. In particular, it is not known whether jets or their soft fragments are correlated with particles in the underlying event. To address this question, two-particle correlations are measured in pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV using data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, with an integrated luminosity of 15.8 pb^{-1}, in two different configurations. In the first case, charged particles associated with jets are excluded from the correlation analysis, while in the second case, correlations are measured between particles within jets and charged particles from the underlying event. Second-order flow coefficients, v_{2}, are presented as a function of event multiplicity and transverse momentum. These measurements show that excluding particles associated with jets does not affect the measured correlations. Moreover, particles associated with jets do not exhibit any significant azimuthal correlations with the underlying event, ruling out hard processes contributing to the ridge.

Abstract
A search is made for potential ccc[over ¯]c[over ¯] tetraquarks decaying into a pair of charmonium states in the four muon final state using proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^{-1} recorded by the ATLAS experiment at LHC. Two decay channels, J/ψ+J/ψ→4μ and J/ψ+ψ(2S)→4μ, are studied. Backgrounds are estimated based on a hybrid approach involving Monte Carlo simulations and data-driven methods. Statistically significant excesses with respect to backgrounds dominated by the single parton scattering are seen in the di-J/ψ channel consistent with a narrow resonance at 6.9 GeV and a broader structure at lower mass. A statistically significant excess is also seen in the J/ψ+ψ(2S) channel. The fitted masses and decay widths of the structures are reported.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of τ-lepton-pair production in ultraperipheral lead-lead collisions Pb+Pb→Pb(γγ→ττ)Pb and constraints on the τ-lepton anomalous magnetic moment a_{τ}. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 1.44 nb^{-1} of LHC Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment in 2018. Selected events contain one muon from a τ-lepton decay, an electron or charged-particle track(s) from the other τ-lepton decay, little additional central-detector activity, and no forward neutrons. The γγ→ττ process is observed in Pb+Pb collisions with a significance exceeding 5 standard deviations and a signal strength of μ_{ττ}=1.03_{-0.05}^{+0.06} assuming the standard model value for a_{τ}. To measure a_{τ}, a template fit to the muon transverse-momentum distribution from τ-lepton candidates is performed, using a dimuon (γγ→μμ) control sample to constrain systematic uncertainties. The observed 95% confidence-level interval for a_{τ} is -0.057

Abstract
Jet quenching is the process of color-charged partons losing energy via interactions with quark-gluon plasma droplets created in heavy-ion collisions. The collective expansion of such droplets is well described by viscous hydrodynamics. Similar evidence of collectivity is consistently observed in smaller collision systems, including pp and p+Pb collisions. In contrast, while jet quenching is observed in Pb+Pb collisions, no evidence has been found in these small systems to date, raising fundamental questions about the nature of the system created in these collisions. The ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has measured the yield of charged hadrons correlated with reconstructed jets in 0.36 nb^{-1} of p+Pb and 3.6 pb^{-1} of pp collisions at 5.02 TeV. The yields of charged hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>0.5 GeV near and opposite in azimuth to jets with p_{T}^{jet}>30 or 60 GeV, and the ratios of these yields between p+Pb and pp collisions, I_{pPb}, are reported. The collision centrality of p+Pb events is categorized by the energy deposited by forward neutrons from the struck nucleus. The I_{pPb} values are consistent with unity within a few percent for hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>4 GeV at all centralities. These data provide new, strong constraints that preclude almost any parton energy loss in central p+Pb collisions.

A search for a long-lived, heavy neutral lepton (N) in 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reported. The N is produced via W→Nμ or W→Ne and decays into two charged leptons and a neutrino, forming a displaced vertex. The N mass is used to discriminate between signal and background. No signal is observed, and limits are set on the squared mixing parameters of the N with the left-handed neutrino states for the N mass range 3 GeV

Abstract
A test of CP invariance in Higgs boson production via vector-boson fusion has been performed in the H→γγ channel using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The optimal observable method is used to probe the CP structure of interactions between the Higgs boson and electroweak gauge bosons, as described by an effective field theory. No sign of CP violation is observed in the data. Constraints are set on the parameters describing the strength of the CP-odd component in the coupling between the Higgs boson and the electroweak gauge bosons in two effective field theory bases: d[over ˜] in the HISZ basis and c_{HW[over ˜]} in the Warsaw basis. The results presented are the most stringent constraints on CP violation in the coupling between Higgs and weak bosons. The 95% C.L. constraint on d[over ˜] is derived for the first time and the 95% C.L. constraint on c_{HW[over ˜]} has been improved by a factor of 5 compared to the previous measurement.

Abstract
Replacing alkali metals (K, Na atoms) by an alkaline-earth metal (Ba atom), α-Ba3Sc2(BO3)4 (high-temperature phase) is successfully obtained by a molten salt method, taking Ba2K1.6Na0.4Sc2(BO3)4 as the parent template. Although both of them exhibit similar layered structures composed of ScO6 and BO3 units, α-Ba3Sc2(BO3)4 shows largely distorted ScO6 octahedra (Δd = 0.56) forced by the uniform tension of a larger space effect from BaO12 polyhedrons, rather than regular ScO6 octahedra like in Ba2K1.6Na0.4Sc2(BO3)4. Experimental measurements and calculated analyses elucidate that distorted ScO6 octahedra in α-Ba3Sc2(BO3)4, displaying a second-order Jahn-Teller (SOJT) effect, enlarge the experimental birefringence up to 0.14@550 nm, while Ba2K1.6Na0.4Sc2(BO3)4 with regular ScO6 octahedra only shows Δn = 0.11 under the same condition. In addition, other optical and thermal properties of the two title compounds were characterized. The experimental results indicate that Ba2K1.6Na0.4Sc2(BO3)4 and α-Ba3Sc2(BO3)4 are promising birefringent materials.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2) plays a key role in antiangiogenesis which has been an essential strategy for cancer treatment. We report the first-in-human study of AK109, a novel anti-VEGFR2 monoclonal antibody, to characterize the safety profile and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) properties, and explore the preliminary antitumor efficacy in patients with solid tumors. PATIENTS AND METHODS This was a multicenter, open-label, phase I study, including dose escalation and dose expansion (NCT04547205). Patients with advanced cancers were treated 2 and 3 weekly with escalating doses of AK109. A 3 + 3 design was used to determine the maximum tolerated dose. Blood was sampled for PK/PD analysis. The primary endpoint was safety and recommended phase II dose (RP2D). RESULTS A total of 40 patients were enrolled. No dose-limiting toxicity was observed. However, 38 patients reported treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs); grade ≥3 TRAEs occurred in 10 patients. The most common TRAEs were proteinuria (n = 24, 60%), hypertension (n = 13, 32.5%), increased aspartate transaminase (n = 11, 27.5%), thrombopenia (n = 10, 25%), and anemia (n = 10, 25%). A total of 28 patients (70%) reported adverse events of special interest (AESIs). The most common AESIs were proteinuria (60%), hypertension (32.5%), and hemorrhage (32.5%), mainly including gum bleeding and urethrorrhagia. AK109 exhibited an approximately linear PK exposure with dose escalation at 2-12 mg/kg. PD analyses showed rapid target engagement. Among the 40 patients, 4 achieved partial response and 21 achieved stable disease with an objective response rate of 10% and a disease control rate of 62.5%. Based on the safety profile, the PK/PD profile, and preliminary antitumor activities, 12 mg/kg Q2W and 15 mg/kg Q3W were selected as RP2D. CONCLUSIONS AK109 showed manageable safety profile and promising antitumor activity, supporting further clinical development in a large population.

Abstract
Ba1.09Pb0.91Be2(BO3)2F2 (BPBBF), a previously unreported lead-containing beryllium borate fluoride, has been successfully grown through a high-temperature flux method. Its structure is solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SC-XRD), and it is optically characterized via infrared, Raman, UV-vis-IR transmission, and polarizing spectra as well. SC-XRD data suggests that it can be indexed by a trigonal unit cell (space group P3m1) with lattice parameters a = 4.7478(6) Å, c = 8.3856(12) Å, Z = 1, and V = 163.70(5) Å. This material could be considered as a derivative of the Sr2Be2B2O7 (SBBO) structural motif. It consists of 2D [Be3B3O6F3]∞ layers in the crystallographic ab plane, with divalent Ba2+ or Pb2+ cations serving as spacers among the adjacent layers. Ba and Pb were found to adopt a disordered arrangement in the trigonal prismatic coordination within the BPBBF structural lattice, which is evidenced by both structural refinements against SC-XRD data and energy dispersive spectroscopy. The UV absorption edge (279.1 nm) and birefringence (Δn = 0.054@ 546.1 nm) of BPBBF are confirmed by UV-vis-IR transmission and polarizing spectra, respectively. The discovery of this previous unreported SBBO-type material, BPBBF, along with other reported analogues such as BaMBe2(BO3)2F2 (M = Ca, Mg, and Cd), provide a prodigious example for tuning the bandgap, birefringence, and short UV absorption edge via simple chemical substitution.

Abstract
Nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal, which simultaneously exhibits strong second-harmonic-generation (SHG) response and desired optical anisotropy, is a core optical material accessible to the modern optoelectronics. Accompanied by strong SHG effect in a NLO crystal, a contradictory problem of overlarge birefringence is ignored, leading to low frequency doubling efficiency and poor beam quality. Herein, a series of rare earth cyanurates RE5 (C3 N3 O3 )(OH)12 (RE=Y, Yb, Lu) were successfully characterized by 3D electron diffraction technique. Based on a "three birds with one stone" strategy, they enable the simultaneous fulfillment of strong SHG responses (2.5-4.2× KH2 PO4 ), short UV cutoff (ca. 220 nm) and applicable birefringence (ca. 0.15 at 800 nm) by the introduction of rare earth coordination control of π-conjugated (C3 N3 O3 )3- anions. These findings provide high-performance short-wavelength NLO materials and highlight the exploration of cyanurates as a new research area.

Abstract
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive cognitive decline, amyloid-β (Aβ) plaques and the formation of neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs) composed of hyperphosphorylated tau. Increasing evidence has demonstrated that the damage of cell plays an important role in AD. Cell death is a critical phenomenon for physiological functions, which promotes AD pathogenesis. Programmed cell death, including necroptosis, pyroptosis, autophagy, and ferroptosis, have been discovered that have unique biological functions and pathophysiological characteristics. Here, we review the available evidence detailing the mechanisms of programmed microglial death, including pyroptosis, autophagy, and ferroptosis. We also highlight the role of programmed death of microglia during the process of AD and focus on the connection between the disease and cell death.

Abstract
The exploration of parity-time (PT) symmetry in micro-/nano-cavity lasers has recently gained immense research interest. The PT symmetric phase transition to single-mode lasing has been achieved by arranging the spatial distribution of optical gain and loss in single or coupled cavity systems. In terms of photonic crystal (PhC) lasers, a non-uniform pumping scheme is usually employed to enter the PT symmetry-breaking phase in a longitudinal PT symmetric system. Instead, we use a uniform pumping scheme to enable the PT symmetric transition to the desired single lasing mode in line-defect PhC cavities based on a simple design with asymmetric optical loss. The flexible control of gain-loss contrast is realized by removing a few rows of air holes in PhCs. We obtain single-mode lasing with a side mode suppression ratio (SMSR) of around 30 dB without affecting the threshold pump power and linewidth. The output power of the desired mode is six times higher than that in multimode lasing. This simple approach enables single-mode PhC lasers without sacrificing the output power, threshold pump power, and linewidth of a multimode cavity design.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of dyslipidemia on the clinical outcome of intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer (ICSI-ET) in infertility patients receiving donor eggs. Methods: A total of 118 patients were selected to receive egg donors and ICSI-ET at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between April 2007 and December 2020. According to the levels of triacylglycerol, serum cholesterol, high density lipoprotein (HDL), and low density lipoprotein, they were divided into dyslipidemia group (35 cases) and normal blood lipids group (83 cases). The influence of body mass index (BMI) and age was adjusted by 1∶1 propensity score matching, and the general condition and clinical outcome of the two groups were analyzed retrospectively. Finally, the relationship between lipid composition and clinical outcome was analyzed according to patients' age and BMI. Results: (1) Comparing the pre-matching dyslipidemia group with the normal blood lipids group, the BMI of the dyslipidemia group was significantly higher than that of the normal blood lipids group [(23.5±2.4) vs (22.4±2.7) kg/m2], and the embryo implantation rate was significantly lower than that of the normal blood lipids group [13.6% (8/59) vs 27.3% (36/132)], the differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). (2) There were no significant differences in years of infertility, number of pregnancies, number of abortions, number of transplanted embryos, protocol of endometrial preparation, endometrial thickness on transplantation day and high quality embryo rate between the two groups, through propensity score matching (all P>0.05). The biochemical pregnancy rate [28.6% (10/35)], embryo implantation rate [13.6% (8/59)] and live birth rate [20.0% (7/35)] in dyslipidemia group were significantly lower than those in the normal blood lipids group (P<0.05). The clinical pregnancy rate was lower than that of the normal blood lipids group (P>0.05). (3) The results of stratified analysis showed that the level of HDL in the clinically non-pregnant group was significantly lower than that in the pregnant group in patients ≤ 35 years old [(1.5±0.3) vs (1.8±0.5) mmol/L; P<0.05]. In the overweight recipient patients, the level of HDL of the clinically non-pregnant group was lower than that of the pregnant group (P>0.05). Conclusions: Dyslipidemia significantly reduces the biochemical pregnancy rate, embryo implantation rate and live birth rate in patients with receiving donor eggs. Especially in patients aged ≤35 years old, the reduction of HDL is closely related to adverse pregnancy outcomes.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WWW production and a measurement of its cross section using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Events with two same-sign leptons (electrons or muons) and at least two jets, as well as events with three charged leptons, are selected. A multivariate technique is then used to discriminate between signal and background events. Events from WWW production are observed with a significance of 8.0 standard deviations, where the expectation is 5.4 standard deviations. The inclusive WWW production cross section is measured to be 820±100 (stat)±80 (syst) fb, approximately 2.6 standard deviations from the predicted cross section of 511±18 fb calculated at next-to-leading-order QCD and leading-order electroweak accuracy.

Abstract
The standard model of particle physics1-4 describes the known fundamental particles and forces that make up our Universe, with the exception of gravity. One of the central features of the standard model is a field that permeates all of space and interacts with fundamental particles5-9. The quantum excitation of this field, known as the Higgs field, manifests itself as the Higgs boson, the only fundamental particle with no spin. In 2012, a particle with properties consistent with the Higgs boson of the standard model was observed by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN10,11. Since then, more than 30 times as many Higgs bosons have been recorded by the ATLAS experiment, enabling much more precise measurements and new tests of the theory. Here, on the basis of this larger dataset, we combine an unprecedented number of production and decay processes of the Higgs boson to scrutinize its interactions with elementary particles. Interactions with gluons, photons, and W and Z bosons-the carriers of the strong, electromagnetic and weak forces-are studied in detail. Interactions with three third-generation matter particles (bottom (b) and top (t) quarks, and tau leptons (τ)) are well measured and indications of interactions with a second-generation particle (muons, μ) are emerging. These tests reveal that the Higgs boson discovered ten years ago is remarkably consistent with the predictions of the theory and provide stringent constraints on many models of new phenomena beyond the standard model.

Abstract
A new non-centrosymmetric iodate crystal Sm3(IO3)9(HIO3)4 has been successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal method. The crystal structure is a three-dimensional network with samarium polyhedra linked by iodate groups. It shows a moderate second harmonic generation response of 1.1 × KH2PO4 (KDP). The strongest emission in its luminescence spectrum is located at 600 nm under 403 nm excitation. Hence, Sm3(IO3)9(HIO3)4 is a potential orange laser material.

Abstract
Birefringence, as one of the most important factors for birefringent materials, governs their performances in applications. In this study, two previously unreported beryllium borates, BaCdBe2(BO3)2F2 (BDBBF) and NaMgBe2(BO3)2F (NMBBF), have been rationally designed by modulating interstitial cations. When smaller sizes of the cations are used, the crystal structure of NMBBF exhibits closer-packed 2D [Be6B6O12F3]∞ double layers rather than the 2D [Be3B3O6F3]∞ single layers in the crystal structure of BDBBF. The ultraviolet (UV) transmittance spectrum indicates that the short UV absorption edges of BDBBF and NMBBF are below 200 nm. The results from both theoretical calculations (theo.) and experimental characterizations (exp.) reveal enlarged birefringence from BDBBF (0.067 at 589 nm from theo. and 0.059 at 546.1 nm from exp.) to NMBBF (0.078 at 589 nm from theo. and 0.081 at 546.1 nm from exp.). Because of its excellent structure-based optical properties, NMBBF has the potential to be a deep-UV birefringent material. Our structural comparison and discussion provide a scope to aid in the design of potential deep-UV birefringent materials with large birefringence.

Abstract
We proposed and experimentally demonstrated a low loss modified Bezier bend for silicon and silicon nitride photonic integrated circuits. Both simulation and experimental results confirm that the modified Bezier bend can effectively reduce the bend loss for silicon and silicon nitride platform. At a bend radius of 1 µm, the reduction of bend loss from 0.367 dB/90° of circular bend and 0.35 dB/90° of traditional Bezier bend to 0.117 dB/90° of modified Bezier bend for silicon platform was experimentally demonstrated. For a 12-µm radius silicon nitride bend, the bend loss reduction from 0.65 dB/90° of circular bend and 0.575 dB/90° of traditional Bezier bend to 0.32 dB/90° was achieved. The proposed modified Bezier bend design can also be applied to other material systems, such as InP, LN, GaAs, etc., to effectively reduce the bend waveguide loss.

Abstract
A noncentrosymmetric salt-inclusion germanate, Rb10Li3Sc4Ge12O36F, was grown through spontaneous crystallization from a LiF-RbF flux. It crystallizes in the polar space group P31c with cell parameters of a = 10.7587(3) Å, c = 21.6691(10) Å, and Z = 2. Its structure features a complex 3D framework composed of helical [Ge4O12] chains from condensed [GeO4] tetrahedra running along the c axis, which are interconnected by the [ScO6] octahedra. Voids of the 3D net are filled with Rb+ ions, Li+ ions, and isolated trigonal-bipyramidal [Rb3Li2F] superalkali clusters. The title compound has a large band gap of 5.6 eV, a moderate powder second-harmonic-generation response of 0.9KDP, and an extremely small birefringence of 0.001, as was further unraveled by theoretical calculations.

Abstract
Single-mode lasing for small size semiconductor laser is significantly important in the on-chip optical signal processing, data storage, and dense optical integrated systems. This paper presents new, to the best of our knowledge, single-mode quantum well microlasers by distributing periodical strain along the longitudinal laser cavity. The quantum transmission line modeling (Q-TLM) method is employed to establish the model for strained microlasers. The dynamic output of quantum well microlasers with longitudinal periodical strain (LPS) distribution is analyzed in the time and frequency domains, and it is found that the introduction of LPS significantly improves the single-mode output of quantum well microlasers by increasing the side mode suppression ratio (SMSR) from 8.44 to 28.29 dB. The study results confirm that well-controlled periodical strain along the longitudinal laser cavity provides an alternative routine for realizing single-mode lasing by strain engineering.

Abstract
We report an experimental study of long-wave infrared difference frequency generation based on BaGa4Se7 crystal. The sources of two input wavelengths were the fundamental output of a Nd:YAG laser and its second-harmonic pumped ∼1.2µmKTiOPO4 optical parametric oscillator. A wide tuning range of 7.9-17.5 µm (>1.14 octave) was achieved, which reached the upper limit of the BaGa4Se7 transparency region. The spectra and pulse widths, input-output relationship, beam profile, wavelength tolerance, and angular acceptance of the phase-matching were characterized in detail. This presented coherent source can potentially be applied in multiple gas analyses and spectral imaging.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the association between serum uric acid to creatinine ratio (SUA/Cr) and metabolic syndrome among community residents in Chashan town, Dongguan city. Methods: Participants were from the prospective cohort study of chronic diseases in natural populations in South China conducted in Chashan town, Dongguan city from 2018 to 2019. A total of 11 334 participants with complete data were included by using convenient sampling method. Demographic characteristics, lifestyle and health status were collected through questionnaire and physical examination. The venous blood of the subjects was collected to detect the levels of serum uric acid, creatinine and blood lipid. All participants were divided into four groups (Q1-Q4) according to the quartile of SUA/Cr level. The relationship between SUA/Cr and metabolic syndrome and its components (abdominal obesity, high triglyceride, low level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol, hypertension and abnormal glucose metabolism) were analyzed by using logistic regression model. Results: The mean age of 11 334 participants was (49.52±10.02) years. Male participants accounted for 44.2% (5 015/11 334). The prevalence of metabolic syndrome was 31.2% (3 532/11 334), and the level of SUA/Cr was 5.17±1.53. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome in group Q1-Q4 was 22.3% (631/2 834), 26.5% (752/2 833), 34.9% (988/2 833) and 41.0% (1 161/2 834), respectively. After adjusting for relevant confounding factors, the result of logistic regression model showed that compared with group Q1, the risk of metabolic syndrome in group Q2-Q4 was significantly higher, with OR (95%CI) values about 1.41 (1.23-1.60), 2.19 (1.93-2.49) and 3.01 (2.65-3.42) respectively. The risk of each component of metabolic syndrome in group Q2-Q4 was higher (Ptrend<0.001). The SUA/Cr level of participants with normal uric acid level was significantly positively correlated with metabolic syndrome. The risk of metabolic syndrome increased with the increase of SUA/Cr level, but there was the same trend without significant differences in patients with hyperuricemia (Pinteraction=0.008). Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between SUA/Cr level and the risk of metabolic syndrome among community residents in Chashan town, Dongguan city.

Abstract
Intense interests in mid-infrared (MIR) nonlinear optical (NLO) crystals have erupted in recent years due to the development of optoelectronic applications ranging from remote monitoring to molecular spectroscopy. Here, two polar crystals Ca3(TeO3)2(MO4) (M = Mo, W) were grown from TeO2-MO3 flux by high-temperature solution methods. Ca3(TeO3)2(MoO4) and Ca3(TeO3)2(WO4) are isostructural, which feature novel structures consisting of asymmetric MO4 tetrahedra and TeO3 trigonal pyramids. Optical characterizations show that both crystals display ultrawide transparency ranges (279 nm to 5.78 μm and 290 nm to 5.62 μm), especially high optical transmittance over 80% in the important atmospheric transparent window of 3-5 μm, and superhigh laser damage thresholds (1.63 GW/cm2 and 1.50 GW/cm2), 54.3 and 50 times larger than that of state-of-the-art MIR NLO AgGaS2, respectively. Notably, they exhibit the widest band gaps and the loftiest laser-induced threshold damages among the reported tellurates so far. Moreover, Ca3(TeO3)2(MO4) exhibit type I phase matching at two working wavelengths owing to their large birefringence and strong second-harmonic generation responses from the distorted anions, as further elucidated by the first-principles calculations. The above characteristics indicate that Ca3(TeO3)2(MO4) crystals are high-performance MIR NLO materials, especially applying in high-power MIR laser operations.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the relationship of sleep quality and sleep duration with hypertension among adults aged 30-79 years old in Guangzhou. Methods: According to multi-stage stratified cluster sampling, 12 747 residents aged 30-79 years old were sampled and surveyed in Guangzhou from January 2018 to March 2019. Data on general demographic characteristics, sleep quality, sleep duration and hypertension were collected through questionnaire survey, the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) and physical examination. Multivariate logistic regression models were used to analyze the putative association between sleep quality, sleep duration and hypertension. Restrictive cubic spline curve was used to draw the dose-response relationship curve between sleep quality, sleep time and hypertension. Results: The mean age of the subjects was (52.68±12.17) years, the prevalence of hypertension was 36.6% (4 664/12 747), the average score of PSQI was (4.70±2.88), and the average sleep time was (7.00±1.32) hours. The prevalence of hypertension was positively associated with the PSQI score. Compared to the subjects with a score less than 3, OR (95%CI) of hypertension with a PSQI score of 3-5, 5-8, ≥9 were 1.14 (1.02-1.27), 1.17 (1.03-1.34), 1.41 (1.21-1.64), respectively. The relationship between sleep duration and hypertension appeared U-shaped. Compared with 6 to 8 hours sleep duration, both sleep duration<6 hours with OR(95%CI) of 1.27(1.12-1.43) or >8 hours with OR(95%CI) of 1.20(1.05-1.38) was associated with hypertension. Conclusion: Both poor sleep quality, longer or shorter sleep duration were responsible for increased risk of cognitive impairment in older Chinese.

Abstract
Nonlinear-optical (NLO) crystals, which can regulate the laser wavelength through a cascading second-harmonic-generation technique, have been widely utilized in the field of optoelectronics. In this work, we grew the NLO borate crystal Rb3YB6O12 (RYBO) using the spontaneous crystallization method. RYBO crystallizes in a chiral trigonal space group of R32 with a new type of structural arrangement built from Y-O short chains and B5O10 groups. It is significantly different from the known structure of chemical analogues Rb3REB6O12 (RE = Nd, Eu) not only in the halved unit cell parameter but also in the Y-O connection manner. The NLO response of RYBO is about 0.8KDP, 8-fold larger than that of KB5O8·4H2O with the same B5O10 groups because of the coexistence of two NLO-active units of the distorted YO6 octahedra and B5O10 anions. Thanks to the short ultraviolet (UV) cutoff, RYBO may have potential NLO applications in the UV and even deep-UV spectral regions.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy and pregnancy outcome of fertility-preserving treatment for patients with stage Ⅰa, grade 2 endometrial cancer (EC). Methods: Clinical data was retrospectively collected for EC or atypical endometrial hyperplasia (AEH) patients treated in Peking University People's Hospital, Foshan First People's Hospital of Guangdong Province and First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, from 2010 to 2019. Inclusion criteria for fertility-preserving treatment included: (1) Age ≤45 years. (2) EC with histological differentiation of G(1), G(2) or endometrial AEH. (3) EC disease should be stage Ⅰa, confined to the endometrium without myometrial invasion, lymph node or extrauterine metastasis. Treatment regimen: patients were given oral progestin therapy and endometrial pathology was evaluated every three months. Patients were divided into three groups as G(2) EC group, G(1) EC group and AEH group based on the histological differentiation. Oncological and pregnancy outcomes were compared among them. Results: (1) Totally 57 eligible patients were included in this study, including 11 cases with G(2) EC, 22 cases with G(1) EC, and 24 cases with AEH. (2) Oncological outcome: among the three groups of G(2) EC, G(1) EC and AH, the complete remission rates (9/11, 91% and 96%, respectively) and recurrence rates (3/9, 30% and 22%, respectively) were not significantly different (all P>0.05). Median remission time was significantly longer in the G(2) EC group than those in the other two groups (8, 6 and 4 months; P=0.046). Among 9 G(2) EC patients who recurred after complete remission, three patients relapsed at 7, 18 and 53 months, respectively. All 3 patients chose fertility-sparing treatment again, and all achieved complete remission after retreatment. (3) Pregnancy outcome: among the three groups, the assisted reproduction technology rates (4/8, 5/18 and 36%, respectively) and pregnancy rates (6/8, 5/18 and 36%, respectively) had no significant difference (P>0.05). However, time interval to pregnancy was shorter in G(2) EC patientsthan the other two groups (4, 9 and 22 months, respectively; P=0.006). Conclusions: Fertility-preserving treatment for patients with stageⅠa, G(2) endometrial cancer, may obtain a relatively high remission rate and an acceptable pregnancy rate. However, further exploration is needed due to the limited number of cases.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the changes in the endemic situation of schistosomiasis in national surveillance sites of Hunan Province, so as to provide scientific basis for the development of the schistosomiasis elimination programme in the province. METHODS According to the requirements of the National Guidelines for Schistosomiasis Surveillance in China (2014 version), a total of 41 national schistosomiasis surveillance sites were assigned in all disease-endemic counties (districts) across Hunan Province. During the period between 2015 and 2019, Schistosoma japonicum infections were monitored in local residents, mobile populations and livestock, and snail status was monitored. The morbidity due to schistosomiasis and snail status was compared between years. RESULTS The sero-prevalence of S. japonicum infections was 2.57% and 1.56% in local residents and mobile populations in national surveillance sites of Hunan Province from 2015 to 2019, respectively, and the sero-prevalence appeared a tendency towards a decline over years. A higher sero-prevalence rate of S. japonicum infections was seen in men than in women (P < 0.01). During the 5-year study period, the sero-prevalence rate of human S. japonicum infections appeared a tendency towards a decline in the marshland, embankment, inner embankment and hilly types of endemic areas over years. There were 44 and 19 egg -positives detected in local residents and 5 and 1 egg-positives in mobile populations in 2015 and 2016 respectively. A total of 9 346 domestic animals were monitored from 2015 to 2019, and 6 egg-positives were detected in 2015 and 2016 (all were bovine). A total of 0.155 billion m2 settings were surveyed from 2015 to 2019, and the mean density of living snails appeared a tendency towards a decline over years, with a 45.79% reduction in 2019 as compared to 2015. However, no S. japonicum infections were identified in snails during the 5-year period. A total of 1 469 mixed snail samples were detected using loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), and 6 positive snail samples were identified in 2015 (one sample) and 2017 (5 samples). CONCLUSIONS The overall endemic situation of schistosomiasis appears a tendency towards a decline in Hunan Province, and the prevalence of S. japonicum infections is at a low level in humans and livestock; however, there is still a risk of schistosomiasis transmission. Improvements of health education, intensification of schistosomiasis examinations in mobile populations and reinforcement of the surveillance-response system is required to consolidate the achievements of schistosomiasis control in Hunan Province.

Abstract
ABSTRACT This study was designed to evaluate the extent of the protection for bovine viral diarrhea virus type 2 (BVDV-2) infection, afforded by vaccination with a combo inactivated vaccine, which contains bovine viral diarrhea virus type 1 (BVDV-1) and infectious bovine rhinotracheitis virus (IBRV). Five 3-4-month-old calves were intramuscularly vaccinated with a single dose of the combo vaccine and boosted with same dose three weeks after the first vaccination, with five mock immunized calves serving as a control group. Twenty-one days after the second vaccination, all calves were challenged with BVDV-2 SX08 strain by spray into nostril. The unvaccinated animals developed typical clinical signs of high rectal temperature, diarrhoea with erosions and a dramatic drop in leukocyte counts. These signs occured markedly less in all vaccinated animals, the rectal temperature, leukopenia and virarmia of which, were significantly less than the mock immunized calves. It can be concluded that vaccination with the combo inactivated vaccine affords cross-protection against clinical effects of a challenge-infection with BVDV-2 SX08 strain, although it was part protection.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To examine the construction and operation of the schistosomiasis diagnostic network platform in Hunan Province, so as to provide insights into the improvements of the schistosomiasis diagnostic network laboratory system in the province. METHODS According to the criteria and requirements for the construction of the county-level schistosomiasis diagnostic network laboratory in China, the establishment and operation of the laboratory were assessed using self-assessment and field review in national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of Hunan Province. RESULTS A total of 41 county-level schistosomiasis diagnostic network laboratories were built in national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of Hunan Province, and 36 met the requirements for the construction of the national schistosomiasis diagnostic network laboratory in China, which were approved for inclusion in the province-level schistosomiasis diagnostic network laboratory. During the six inter-laboratory comparisons performed by the national schistosomiasis diagnostic reference center of China, full consistency was achieved by 3 county-level schistosomiasis diagnostic network laboratories in Hunan Province, and the coincidence rates for re-review of serological and pathogenic detection samples were 98.40% and 100%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The county-level schistosomiasis diagnostic network laboratory system has been preliminarily built and under effective operation in Hunan Province; however, the building capability remains to be improved.
