Abstract
Water extracts of Escherichia coli "O" and "K" antigen test strains (EPEC, ETEC, EIEC, UPEC) were examined in immunodiffusion and immunoelectrophoresis tests. The precipitation arcs corresponding to the O-antigen specificity and to the thermostable polysaccharide K antigen were easy to identify. All strains gave an O antigen precipitation arc found either on the anodic or the cathodic side of application basin and close to this. The so-called enteropathogenic types (from infantile diarrhoea) had a cathodic O antigen arc type; from dysentery-like disease had a negatively charged O-antigen, but no special thermostable K-antigen. Thus E. coli strains which may invade the tissues when conditions allow have a negatively charged surface antigen, either O-antigen lipopolysaccharide or both. Acidic components were found in the anodic O-antigen.

Abstract
The agglutinating sera against Hanseniaspora osmophila. H. uvarum and H. valbyensis agglutinated the homologous and heterologous Hanseiaspora strains. Cross agglutination and absorption tests showed that there was a common antigenic factor (s) among these three Hanseniaspora species. On the other hand, the tests have shown that the antigenic structures of H. uvarum and H. valbyensis are so much alike that they seem almost identical.

Abstract
In this paper a common antigenic factor among Salmonella choleraesuis 0 antigen and standard Metschnikowia bicuspidata var. bicuspidata and M. pulcherrima strains is shown. This common factor was not present in M. bicuspidata var. australis, M. bicuspidata var. california, M. krissii and M. reukaufii strains. M. bicuspidata var. chathamia and M. zobellii showed agglutination in the previous experiments. According to these results, the use of S. choleraesuis 0:6,7 agglutinating serum for slide and tube agglutination tests can be a diagnostic aid for typing above mentioned Metschnikowia strains along with the other tests.

Abstract
The results of the agglutinations between homologous and heterologous Debaryomyces strains and their agglutinating sera are shown in table I. According to these findings, D. hansenii and D. marama are antigenically different from other Debaryomyces strains in this genus. In a previous study Aksoycan et al. have shown a common antigenic factor between D. hansenii, D. marama strains and Salmonella 0:7 antigen. This factor was not present in other six strains of Debaryomyces. These results also show that D. tamarii does not have any antigenic relationship with the other seven species of Debaryomyces in this genus.

Abstract
Antigenic relationships between Candida clausseni and Salmonella choleraesuis were presented before. In this study, antigenic relationships between Salmonella choleraesuis and different strains of Torulopsis analyzed by immunodiffusion studies. Antigenic relationships between intragroups of Torulopsis were also studied. The results showed that the common thermostable component (s) of S. choleraesuis and Torulopsis musae may probably be related to the common enterobacterial antigen. Other results are also discussed.

The immune serum for S. cholerae suis agglutinated C. tropicalis (C. benhamii), C. tropicalis (C. vulgaris) and C. rhagii (C. tropicalis v. rhagii). Absorption and agglutination cross tests demonstrated common antigen factors in the tested species and in S. cholerae suis (0 6,7).

Abstract
The agglutinating serum of S. cholerae suis, obtained against the 0 6,7 antigens, agglutinated C. guilliermondii var. Carpophila and T. candida, both in tube and on slide. The anti-0 serum obtained from R phase of S. cholerae suis did not agglutinate the mentioned strains anylonger.

Abstract
The agglutinating serum against Torulopsis glabrata antigen agglutinated Syringospora claussenii, and the serum against this fungus cross-agglutinated Torulopsis glabrata. Cross agglutinations and absorption experiments show that there is a common antigenic determinant between Torulopsis glabrata and Syringospora claussenii.
