Abstract
Bacteria commonly adhere to surfaces and produce polymeric material to encase the attached cells to form communities called biofilms. Within these biofilms, bacteria can appear to be many times more resistant to antibiotics or disinfectants. This systematic review explores the prevalence and microbial profile associated with biofilm production of bacteria isolated from endotracheal tubes and its associations with antimicrobial resistance. A comprehensive search was performed on databases PubMed, Embase, and Google Scholar for relevant articles published between 1st January 2000 and 31st December 2022. The relevant articles were exported to Mendeley Desktop 1.19.8 and screened by title and abstract, followed by full text screening based on the eligibility criteria of the study. Quality assessment of the studies was performed using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) customized for cross-sectional studies. Furthermore, the prevalence of antimicrobial resistance in biofilm-producers isolated from endotracheal tube specimens was investigated. Twenty studies encompassing 981 endotracheal tubes met the eligibility criteria. Pseudomonas spp. and Acinetobacter spp. were predominant isolates among the biofilm producers. These biofilms provided strong resistance against commonly used antibiotics. The highest resistance rate observed in Pseudomonas spp. was against fluoroquinolones whereas the least resistance was seen against piperacillin-tazobactam. A similar trend of susceptibility was observed in Acinetobacter spp. with a very high resistance rate against fluoroquinolones, third-generation cephalosporins and carbapenems. In conclusion, endotracheal tubes were associated with colonization by biofilm forming bacteria with varying levels of antimicrobial resistance. Biofilms may promote the occurrence of recalcitrant infections in endotracheal tubes which need to be managed with appropriate protocols and antimicrobial stewardship. Research focus should shift towards meticulous exploration of biofilm-associated infections to improve detection and management.

Abstract
This Letter presents the first study of Higgs boson production in association with a vector boson (V=W or Z) in the fully hadronic qqbb final state using data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb^{-1}. The vector bosons and Higgs bosons are each reconstructed as large-radius jets and tagged using jet substructure techniques. Dedicated tagging algorithms exploiting b-tagging properties are used to identify jets consistent with Higgs bosons decaying into bb[over ¯]. Dominant backgrounds from multijet production are determined directly from the data, and a likelihood fit to the jet mass distribution of Higgs boson candidates is used to extract the number of signal events. The VH production cross section is measured inclusively and differentially in several ranges of Higgs boson transverse momentum: 250-450, 450-650, and greater than 650 GeV. The inclusive signal yield relative to the standard model expectation is observed to be μ=1.4_{-0.9}^{+1.0} and the corresponding cross section is 3.1±1.3(stat)_{-1.4}^{+1.8}(syst) pb.

Abstract
ATLAS measured the centrality dependence of the dijet yield using 165 nb^{-1} of p+Pb data collected at sqrt[s_{NN}]=8.16 TeV in 2016. The event centrality, which reflects the p+Pb impact parameter, is characterized by the total transverse energy registered in the Pb-going side of the forward calorimeter. The central-to-peripheral ratio of the scaled dijet yields, R_{CP}, is evaluated, and the results are presented as a function of variables that reflect the kinematics of the initial hard parton scattering process. The R_{CP} shows a scaling with the Bjorken x of the parton originating from the proton, x_{p}, while no such trend is observed as a function of x_{Pb}. This analysis provides unique input to understanding the role of small proton spatial configurations in p+Pb collisions by covering parton momentum fractions from the valence region down to x_{p}∼10^{-3} and x_{Pb}∼4×10^{-4}.

Abstract
Searches for new resonances are performed using an unsupervised anomaly-detection technique. Events with at least one electron or muon are selected from 140 fb^{-1} of pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV recorded by ATLAS at the Large Hadron Collider. The approach involves training an autoencoder on data, and subsequently defining anomalous regions based on the reconstruction loss of the decoder. Studies focus on nine invariant mass spectra that contain pairs of objects consisting of one light jet or b jet and either one lepton (e,μ), photon, or second light jet or b jet in the anomalous regions. No significant deviations from the background hypotheses are observed. Limits on contributions from generic Gaussian signals with various widths of the resonance mass are obtained for nine invariant masses in the anomalous regions.

Abstract
Patients mimicking appendicitis symptoms in a rural setting or those post-appendectomy, indicating cecal volvulus, should always be considered. Swift action can prevent catastrophic consequences. Abstract We present a case of a 14-year-old female who initially underwent open appendectomy for acute appendicitis and subsequently experienced symptoms of abdominal distention, vomiting, and fever. Her condition deteriorated following the appendectomy, despite a prior appendectomy for similar symptoms at a different facility. A computed tomography (CT) scan identified cecal volvulus as the underlying issue. This led to the performance of a laparotomy, cecopexy, and decompressive ileostomy. After six weeks, ileostomy closure was successfully carried out, and the patient currently enjoys good health. This case highlights the significance of considering uncommon factors as potential contributors to postoperative complications in young patients.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WZγ production and a measurement of its cross section using 140.1±1.2 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The WZγ production cross section, with both the W and Z bosons decaying leptonically, pp→WZγ→ℓ^{'}^{±}νℓ^{+}ℓ^{-}γ (ℓ^{(^{'})}=e, μ), is measured in a fiducial phase-space region defined such that the leptons and the photon have high transverse momentum and the photon is isolated. The cross section is found to be 2.01±0.30(stat)±0.16(syst) fb. The corresponding standard model predicted cross section calculated at next-to-leading order in perturbative quantum chromodynamics and at leading order in the electroweak coupling constant is 1.50±0.06 fb. The observed significance of the WZγ signal is 6.3σ, compared with an expected significance of 5.0σ.

Abstract
Abstract A socio-economic study was conducted in district Mardan of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province of Pakistan to get a comprehensive knowledge of the agroforestry tree species grown on the farmlands, their yield, and carbon stock. For yield and carbon stock estimation, data were collected from 59 sample plots by measuring the diameter, height, volume, and biomass of selected agroforestry tree species through D-tape and Haga altimeter. A total of 59 sample plots were inventoried using 2.5 percent sampling intensity. Each sample plot has an area of 0.5 ha, where each tree with a Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) ≥ 5 cm was inventoried. The calculated amount of volume of each tree species was then converted to biomass by multiplying it by the density of wood and the Biomass Expansion Factor (BEF). Total yield and C stock for the selected agroforestry tree species were 11535.2 metric tons and 2102.2 metric tons, respectively. Populus euroamericana is classified as the main tree with 28% growing stock prior to Morus alba by 21%, while Melia azedarach, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Dalbergia sissoo, Acacia nilotica, Salix tetrasperma, and Bombax ceiba consist of 15%, 12%, 8%, 6%,7% and 3% growing stock respectively. Among the species found in different sampling plots the yield of Populus euroamericana was found to be 4747.5 metric tons and it was followed by the species Morus alba found at 2027.3 metric tons. Similarly, the volume for Melia azedarach, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Dalbergia sissoo, Salix spp, Boombox ceiba, and Acacia nilotica was 1532.2 tons,1503 ton,745.7,203.5ton, 555.4ton and 220.5ton, respectively. The carbon stock for Populus euroamericana was calculated as 777.8 ton/ha, while for Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Melia azedarach, Morus alba, Dalbergia sissoo, Acacia nilotica, Salix species, and Bombax ceiba it was calculated as 312.3ton/ha, 272.1ton/ha, 363ton/ha, 245.1ton/ha, 51.4ton/ha, 27.3ton/ha and 53.2ton/ha, respectively. The questionnaire survey conducted for price dynamics showed that the majority of respondents purchase timber from the market for construction. But they use farm trees with low-quality city construction. They dislike using local timber in the conventional building as timber from farm trees is liable to insect attack. Rs. 50,000-100000, (33.33%) of daily sales was concluded from 50% of the trader while (16.7%) of the traders have their sales between Rs.150,000-200,000. Therefore, it is concluded by the authors that both provincial and federal government should promote agroforestry in Pakistan through different incentives because it has the potential to cope with dilemma of deforestation of natural forests and improve the livelihood of local peoples. It is strongly recommended that special projects just like the Ten Billion Tree Afforestation Project (T-BTTP) should be launched for agroforestry plantation and promotion in the country to sustain the ecological harmony and uplift the socio-economic condition of the peoples of Pakistan.

Abstract
A measurement of the mass of the Higgs boson combining the H→ZZ^{*}→4ℓ and H→γγ decay channels is presented. The result is based on 140 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector during LHC run 2 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV combined with the run 1 ATLAS mass measurement, performed at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, yielding a Higgs boson mass of 125.11±0.09(stat)±0.06(syst)=125.11±0.11 GeV. This corresponds to a 0.09% precision achieved on this fundamental parameter of the Standard Model of particle physics.

Abstract
A search for events with a dark photon produced in association with a dark Higgs boson via rare decays of the standard model Z boson is presented, using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The dark boson decays into a pair of dark photons, and at least two of the three dark photons must each decay into a pair of electrons or muons, resulting in at least two same-flavor opposite-charge lepton pairs in the final state. The data are found to be consistent with the background prediction, and upper limits are set on the dark photon's coupling to the dark Higgs boson times the kinetic mixing between the standard model photon and the dark photon, α_{D}ϵ^{2}, in the dark photon mass range of [5, 40] GeV except for the ϒ mass window [8.8, 11.1] GeV. This search explores new parameter space not previously excluded by other experiments.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of single top quarks produced together with a photon, which directly probes the electroweak coupling of the top quark. The analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Requiring a photon with transverse momentum larger than 20 GeV and within the detector acceptance, the fiducial cross section is measured to be 688±23(stat) _{-71}^{+75}(syst) fb, to be compared with the standard model prediction of 515_{-42}^{+36} fb at next-to-leading order in QCD.

This letter presents a measurement of the nuclear modification factor of large-radius jets in sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV Pb+Pb collisions by the ATLAS experiment. The measurement is performed using 1.72 nb^{-1} and 257 pb^{-1} of Pb+Pb and pp data, respectively. The large-radius jets are reconstructed with the anti-k_{t} algorithm using a radius parameter of R=1.0, by reclustering anti-k_{t} R=0.2 jets, and are measured over the transverse momentum (p_{T}) kinematic range of 158

Abstract
A key open question in the study of multiparticle production in high-energy pp collisions is the relationship between the "ridge"-i.e., the observed azimuthal correlations between particles in the underlying event that extend over all rapidities-and hard or semihard scattering processes. In particular, it is not known whether jets or their soft fragments are correlated with particles in the underlying event. To address this question, two-particle correlations are measured in pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV using data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, with an integrated luminosity of 15.8 pb^{-1}, in two different configurations. In the first case, charged particles associated with jets are excluded from the correlation analysis, while in the second case, correlations are measured between particles within jets and charged particles from the underlying event. Second-order flow coefficients, v_{2}, are presented as a function of event multiplicity and transverse momentum. These measurements show that excluding particles associated with jets does not affect the measured correlations. Moreover, particles associated with jets do not exhibit any significant azimuthal correlations with the underlying event, ruling out hard processes contributing to the ridge.

Abstract
A search is made for potential ccc[over ¯]c[over ¯] tetraquarks decaying into a pair of charmonium states in the four muon final state using proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^{-1} recorded by the ATLAS experiment at LHC. Two decay channels, J/ψ+J/ψ→4μ and J/ψ+ψ(2S)→4μ, are studied. Backgrounds are estimated based on a hybrid approach involving Monte Carlo simulations and data-driven methods. Statistically significant excesses with respect to backgrounds dominated by the single parton scattering are seen in the di-J/ψ channel consistent with a narrow resonance at 6.9 GeV and a broader structure at lower mass. A statistically significant excess is also seen in the J/ψ+ψ(2S) channel. The fitted masses and decay widths of the structures are reported.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of τ-lepton-pair production in ultraperipheral lead-lead collisions Pb+Pb→Pb(γγ→ττ)Pb and constraints on the τ-lepton anomalous magnetic moment a_{τ}. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 1.44 nb^{-1} of LHC Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment in 2018. Selected events contain one muon from a τ-lepton decay, an electron or charged-particle track(s) from the other τ-lepton decay, little additional central-detector activity, and no forward neutrons. The γγ→ττ process is observed in Pb+Pb collisions with a significance exceeding 5 standard deviations and a signal strength of μ_{ττ}=1.03_{-0.05}^{+0.06} assuming the standard model value for a_{τ}. To measure a_{τ}, a template fit to the muon transverse-momentum distribution from τ-lepton candidates is performed, using a dimuon (γγ→μμ) control sample to constrain systematic uncertainties. The observed 95% confidence-level interval for a_{τ} is -0.057

Abstract
Jet quenching is the process of color-charged partons losing energy via interactions with quark-gluon plasma droplets created in heavy-ion collisions. The collective expansion of such droplets is well described by viscous hydrodynamics. Similar evidence of collectivity is consistently observed in smaller collision systems, including pp and p+Pb collisions. In contrast, while jet quenching is observed in Pb+Pb collisions, no evidence has been found in these small systems to date, raising fundamental questions about the nature of the system created in these collisions. The ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has measured the yield of charged hadrons correlated with reconstructed jets in 0.36 nb^{-1} of p+Pb and 3.6 pb^{-1} of pp collisions at 5.02 TeV. The yields of charged hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>0.5 GeV near and opposite in azimuth to jets with p_{T}^{jet}>30 or 60 GeV, and the ratios of these yields between p+Pb and pp collisions, I_{pPb}, are reported. The collision centrality of p+Pb events is categorized by the energy deposited by forward neutrons from the struck nucleus. The I_{pPb} values are consistent with unity within a few percent for hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>4 GeV at all centralities. These data provide new, strong constraints that preclude almost any parton energy loss in central p+Pb collisions.

Abstract
A search for a long-lived, heavy neutral lepton (N) in 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reported. The N is produced via W→Nμ or W→Ne and decays into two charged leptons and a neutrino, forming a displaced vertex. The N mass is used to discriminate between signal and background. No signal is observed, and limits are set on the squared mixing parameters of the N with the left-handed neutrino states for the N mass range 3 GeV

Abstract
A test of CP invariance in Higgs boson production via vector-boson fusion has been performed in the H→γγ channel using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The optimal observable method is used to probe the CP structure of interactions between the Higgs boson and electroweak gauge bosons, as described by an effective field theory. No sign of CP violation is observed in the data. Constraints are set on the parameters describing the strength of the CP-odd component in the coupling between the Higgs boson and the electroweak gauge bosons in two effective field theory bases: d[over ˜] in the HISZ basis and c_{HW[over ˜]} in the Warsaw basis. The results presented are the most stringent constraints on CP violation in the coupling between Higgs and weak bosons. The 95% C.L. constraint on d[over ˜] is derived for the first time and the 95% C.L. constraint on c_{HW[over ˜]} has been improved by a factor of 5 compared to the previous measurement.

Abstract
Background Headache disorders are among the most prevalent and disabling conditions worldwide. People, however, do not seek early advice in developing countries. Objective To study clinical profile of patients with headache and their existing knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding primary headaches. Method Descriptive cross-sectional study conducted among 196 patients. Patients were selected using purposive sampling technique fulfilling inclusion criteria. Patients were interviewed based on semi-structural headache questionnaire and data was collected from 4th October to 21st December 2021. Descriptive statistics was used for analysis and interpretation. Result Among 196 participants, 74% were females, 29.6% of patients were between (31 to 40) years of age. The majority were Hindu and belongs to province 3; 36.7% were homemakers, and 32.2% were literate. Migraine headache was the most common type with 14.3% reporting aura. Most reported headache within 1 to 5 years. The commonest triggers were sunlight 64.8%, crowd 54.7%, stress 39.8%, fasting state 31.7%, cold 26.3%. Almost 39% believed that headache could be a chronic neurologic disorder. Majority had knowledge of the causes, triggers, and the relieving factors. Fifty-five percent seek help of a doctor for first time, and the rest seek help of a pharmacist or self-medication. Only 19% tried to manage the headache triggers; 66.8% felt that lifestyle modification is the best treatment for headache comparing drugs. Conclusion Migraine headache was the commonest headache occurring at middle age group with sunlight being the most common trigger factor. Lifestyle modification was perceived to be the best for headache management.

Abstract
Background Although Nephrolithiasis is a common condition caused by a wide variety of metabolic or environmental disturbances, its being one of the major factor of morbidity. Incidence of kidney stone disease (KSD) is highly affected by metabolic disorders and change in blood pressure and glucose. Objective To find out association of different biochemical and hemodynamic parameters with various glycemic status and hypertension in kidney stone disease. Method A cross sectional study was conducted in patients diagnosed as nephrolithiasis by using re¬nal ultrasonography and underwent nephrectomy between January 2019 to January 2021 in Shahid Dharmabhakta National Transplant Centre (SDNTC). A total of 100 subjects with 60 male and 40 females were enrolled. Glycemic status was categorized based on criteria of American Diabetes Association (ADA) and hypertension was defined as BP ≥ 140/90 mm Hg in right arm supine position. All biochemical and hemodynamic profile was carried out following standard protocol. Result Out of 100 patients enrolled, pre-diabetes accounted for 31% followed by diabetes (4%). However, hypertension comprised of 66% in total subjects. Serum urea, cholesterol and triglyceride level were found to be increased by 84.6%, 67.7% and 64.7% respectively in diabetes followed by increase of 3.9%, 19.5% and 3.1% respectively in prediabetes when compared to normal glycemic condition in nephrolithiasis subjects. Serum fasting blood glucose, creatinine and uric acid level was observed significantly higher (p=0.003, p=0.004, p < 0.001 respectively) in hypertensive patients. Duration of hospital stay was also seen positively correlated with hypertension. Conclusion Not only diabetes, prediabetes also manifests the increased risk of kidney stone disease along with hypertension. There is significant impairment in renal function and lipid profile based on diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Early identifying these systemic diseases, different biochemical and hemodynamic parameters and proper treatment accordingly may minimize risk and prevent serious complication in these patients.

Abstract
Background Children with congenital and traumatic upper limb amputation are undervalued in a low and middle-income country (LMIC) like Nepal. The use of a prosthetic hand can give them a feeling of self-reliance to perform their daily activities. However, prosthesis require periodic maintenance and replacement which could be a financial burden to some families. The e-Nable community has designed and developed three dimension printed prosthetic hands for children under 19 years old, and distributed them free of cost. Objective To explore the functionality of the three dimension printed prosthetic hands using semi-structured questionnaires and assess a series of daily tasks after three months prosthetic use. Method This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted from July 2019 to June 2020, after receiving an ethical clearance from the Nepal Health Research Council (Registration number: 582/2019). Seventy six children (5-18 years old) who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled in this study. Data were collected using semistructured questionnaires, and observational methods to identify the benefits and drawbacks of the three dimensional prosthetic hands. Mean, standard deviation, and percentage were used to interpret the data. Result All participants could only lift light objects such as tray, tennis ball or a bottle of water. They had difficulty with those task that required complex movement and with lifting heavy objects. Moreover, only 47(61.8%) participants were completely satisfied with the prosthetic hand and the major reasons for dissatisfaction were tear of the rubber band or cord, and broken parts. Conclusion Participant were able to complete certain tasks using the e-Nable community three dimensional printed prosthetic hands.

Background
Guidelines recommend evaluating the risk/benefit ratio of novel therapies individually in women and men, as the pathophysiology and the response to treatment may differ according to sex. Among patients with acute heart failure (AHF), a strategy of intensive vasodilation, compared with usual care, overall did provide comparable outcomes. However, sex-specific differences in heart failure pathophysiology and the effect of the strategy in women with AHF remained unclear.
Purpose
To characterize sex-specific differences in heart failure pathophysiology and to evaluate the effect of a strategy that emphasized early intensive and sustained vasodilation in women with AHF.
Methods
In a randomized, open-label blinded-end-point trial patients hospitalized for AHF were enrolled in 10 hospitals in Switzerland, Bulgaria, Germany, Brazil, and Spain. Inclusion criteria were AHF expressed by acute dyspnea and increased plasma concentrations of natriuretic peptides, systolic blood pressure ≥100 mmHg, and a plan for treatment in a general ward. Patients were randomized 1:1 to a strategy of early intensive and sustained vasodilation throughout the hospitalization or usual care. The primary end point was a composite of all-cause mortality or rehospitalization for AHF at 180 days. The subgroup analysis according to sex was predefined.
Results
Among 781 patients who completed the trial, 288 (36.9%) were women. Women were significantly older, had a higher systolic blood pressure at presentation and a more common history of diastolic dysfunction (all ps<0.05), whereas men had a significantly higher body surface area, a more common history of ischemic heart disease and a significant lower left ventricular ejection fraction (all ps<0.05). The primary end point, a composite of all-cause mortality or rehospitalization for AHF at 180 days, occurred in 53 female patients (37.9%) in the intervention group (including 28 deaths [20.0%]) and in 35 female patients (23.6%) in the usual care group (including 22 deaths [14.9%]) (absolute difference for the primary end point, 14.3%; adjusted hazard ratio, 1.62 [95% CI, 1.05–2.50]; P=0.03).
Conclusion
Among women with AHF, a strategy of early intensive and sustained vasodilation, compared with usual care, had a detrimental effect on a composite outcome of all-cause mortality and AHF rehospitalization at 180 days.

Background Community pharmacists are the primary contact point in a healthcare system who provide medication information to the patients and enable them to make appropriate decision regarding their therapy. Hence, this study explored patients' perception of community pharmacist based on medication counseling. Objective To study patient's perception on medication counseling by community pharmacist at Manohara Municipality, Kathmandu, Nepal Method A cross sectional study was conducted from November 2020 to April 2021 in population visiting pharmacies of Kageshwori Manohara Municipality of Kathmandu valley. A total of 384 participants included in the study were surveyed using a structured questionnaire exploring the content of medication counseling, level of satisfaction on counseling and use of various means of counseling. Descriptive data were presented in frequencies and percentages using EXCEL 2016. Result This study enrolled 384 participants out of which 354, 92.19% received medication counseling. The main reason of pharmacy visit was to obtain over the counter medicines, 262, 68.23%. Majority of the participants rated satisfied with informations provided on use of medication 218, 56.77%, duration of therapy 261, 67.97%, about side effects 211, 54.95% and on action to be taken following side effects 246, 64.06%. Most of the participants rated satisfied with counseling on storage 189, 49.22% and for referral 250, 65.10% while 201, 52.34% participants rated highly satisfied with advice on lifestyle and dietary changes required. Conclusion This study concludes that the patients' perception regarding the medication counseling by community pharmacist was acceptable. Thus pharmacists should be encouraged to support patients with their medication to promote patient care.

Abstract
Background The Cesarean Section (CS) is a major obstetric life-saving procedure used to avoid pregnancy and childbirth complications. Cesarean sections are becoming more popular across the world, as well as in Nepal. Objective To assess the prevalence of cesarean section and its associated factors among women in Dhulikhel, Nepal. Method A cross-sectional study was conducted where 1246 pregnant women of age 15-45 years, admitted and delivered in hospital, were selected through purposive sampling technique and interviewed using structured questionnaires in Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital, Kavre, Nepal. Result The prevalence of cesarean section among women was 39.7% where the most common indication was previous cesarean section with scar tenderness, 27.9%. Half of the participants, i.e. 50.6%, were primigravida. Majority of women, 97.5% had done their antenatal checkup and among them 74.8% had their checkup in Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital. Most of them, i.e.76.2% had emergency cesarean section and 69.5% had primary cesarean section. Women of the age group 30-45 years (AOR=2.23) and women with higher secondary education level (AOR=2.03) were two times more likely to perform cesarean section. Women involved in service (AOR=1.37) and business (AOR=1.23) had greater odds of performing cesarean section than homemakers. Women giving birth to infants weighing 3.51- 5.00 kg were more likely to perform cesarean section (AOR=1.33). Conclusion The prevalence of cesarean section is noticeably high where the educated, employed and higher aged women are more inclined to cesarean section. More obstetric factors could be explored to determine the rise in cesarean section in Nepal which can help in decision making for clinicians.

Background Retinal haemorrhage in new-born is a clinically common neonatal fundus condition. Although, it usually does not affect the development of visual function, entities like macular haemorrhages may lead to amblyopia causing deterioration of visual function. Such scenario leads to downgrade in quality of life of the affected child. Objective To explore the underlying clinical factors associated with retinal haemorrhage in term new-borns. Method A cross sectional study was conducted involving 136 term neonates admitted in the neonatal intensive care unit of Dhulikhel Hospital. Fundus examination was performed within 2 weeks of delivery. Retinal haemorrhage was graded according to their location in three retinal zones. Result Out of 136 cases examined, 44 (32.35%) of the cases had one of the eyes with retinal haemorrhage. Where grade 1 retinal haemorrhage was accounted in majority of the cases. Birth weight, gestational age, mode of delivery, poor Appearance, Pulse, Grimace, Activity, and Respiration (APGAR) Score in 1 and 5 minutes, birth asphyxia, neonatal sepsis and heavy work in antenatal period had statistically significant correlation with occurrence of retinal haemorrhage. Conclusion Our results suggest that spontaneous vaginal delivery, larger birth weight, higher gestational age, birth asphyxia, low Appearance, Pulse, Grimace, Activity, and Respiration score, are risk factors for occurrence of neonatal retinal haemorrhage. It is recommended that in neonates with above high-risk factors should undergo targeted fundus screening for early identification and needful interventions.

Background Functional abilities start to decelerate after the age of 70 and causes need for assistance to do their basic activities of daily living (BADL) as well as instrumental activities of daily living (IADL). Objective To find out the functional status of senior citizens of a Metropolitan city in Morang. Method A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out at Biratnagar Metropolitan City among 254 senior citizens receiving old age allowance using cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through face to face interview and measuring height and weight by researcher herself for the period of four weeks. Basic activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living were assessed using Katz Index of Basic Activities of Daily Living and Lawton Instrumental Activities of Daily Living tool with some modifications. Chi square test was used to assess the association between variables. Result About 48.4% and 90.6% of senior citizens had dependency in Basic Activities of Daily Living and Lawton Instrumental Activities of Daily Living respectively. The most common dependency for Basic Activities of Daily Living and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living was control of urination and defecation (31.9%) and using telephones (75.2%) respectively. Basic activities of daily living was significantly associated with age (p=0.0017), sex (p=0.013), literacy status (p=0.001), years of smoking (p=0.0029), social participation (0.0029) and history of fall within 1 year (p=0.038). Likewise Instrumental Activities of Daily Living was significantly associated with age (p=0.03), sex (p=0.035), literacy status (p=0.002), exercise (p=0.033) and social participation (p= 0.001). Conclusion It is concluded that about half of the senior citizens are dependent in Basic Activities of Daily Living and almost all of them are dependent in Instrumental Activities of Daily Living. So senior citizen clubs/ groups are suggested to be strengthened which may.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To compare the incidence of lymphocele in kidney recipients following 2 lymphatic vessel division techniques: ligation and non-ligation. METHODS Retrospective reviews of the records of 402 patients with end-stage renal disease who underwent kidney transplantation from April 2015 to December 2019 at Siriraj Hospital. RESULTS Four hundred two patients were included in the study: 54.9% of the patients were male, and the patient's mean age was 41 years. There were 25.1% and 74.9% that received kidney grafts from living and deceased donors, respectively. The preoperative renal replacement therapies were 83.3% hemodialysis, 12.9% peritoneal dialysis, and 3.7% preemptive transplantation. Two hundred forty-nine patients received lymphatic division with the ligation technique and 153 patients received the non-ligation. Lymphoceles were found in 31 cases (7.7%). Lymphocele occurrence in the ligation group was lower than in the non-ligation group: 5.2% compared to 11.8% (P value = .017). There were 22.6% of lymphoceles that had a spontaneous resolution with no treatment. DISCUSSION The ligation of iliac lymphatic vessels during division reduced the incidence of lymphoceles non-ligation.

Aim
The National Hip Fracture Database (NHFD) encompasses key parameters to reduce mortality and improve care in NOFF patients. Current practice across the NHS incorporates several different inpatient orthogeriatric models. Our quality improvement project sought to improve inpatient care delivered by orthopaedic staff with a geriatric targeted focus.
Method
An initial audit on 50 patients was conducted and key areas of concern were highlighted. A focussed proforma for daily reviews was implemented which encompassed local and national (NHFD) recommendations and this was re audited for a further 50 patients.
Results
Documentation of demographics, comoribidites and pre-operative social parameters improved from 70 to 100%. Examination of general health systems improved from 80 to 100%. Identification of nutritional abnormalities improved from 66 to 95%. Documentation of skin condition including wound care and pressure ulcers improved from 55 to 90%. Management of perioperative indwelling urinary catheters improved from 55 to 90%. Identification of unwell patients and thromboembolic risk assessments improved from 65 and 70 to 90 and 95% respectively.
Conclusions
Our targeted focused proforma facilitated an easy and comprehensive daily review for vulnernable geriatric patients. Additionally, it formed a basis for daily handover amongst juniors changing wards and was adopted formally and adapted for other geriatric services.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WWW production and a measurement of its cross section using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Events with two same-sign leptons (electrons or muons) and at least two jets, as well as events with three charged leptons, are selected. A multivariate technique is then used to discriminate between signal and background events. Events from WWW production are observed with a significance of 8.0 standard deviations, where the expectation is 5.4 standard deviations. The inclusive WWW production cross section is measured to be 820±100 (stat)±80 (syst) fb, approximately 2.6 standard deviations from the predicted cross section of 511±18 fb calculated at next-to-leading-order QCD and leading-order electroweak accuracy.

Background With the surge of COVID-19 cases worldwide, vaccines against COVID-19 are also developing across the countries. However, the acceptability of COVID-19 vaccination among general people is questionable. The availability of several vaccines’ options against COVID-19 has perplexed people regarding individual vaccines’ efficacy and safety. Therefore, we aim to determine the acceptance, preferences, impact factors of future COVID-19 vaccines in Malaysia and the factors influencing the COVID-19 vaccination acceptance among vaccine demand and vaccine delay groups. Material and methods An online-based cross-sectional survey was conducted among Malaysian residents 18 years and above of either gender using the snowball sampling technique. A self-administered questionnaire was made available to participants through various social media networks, email, and telegram. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed using SPSS version 25.0. Association between background characteristics and respondents were analyzed using the Chi-square test in the vaccine delay group and vaccine acceptance group. Results Total of 1282 responses were considered for the study, mainly from male respondents (71%). Among the respondents, 95.9% thought that vaccination would be an effective way to prevent and control COVID-19, and 96% would accept vaccination if the COVID-19 vaccine were successfully developed and approved for listing in the future. Essential factors influencing vaccination decisions were vaccine convenience (95.7%) and doctor's recommendation (97.3%). Bivariate analysis revealed that age less than 24 years, Malay race, living in urban areas, tertiary education, students, single marital status, family income (Malaysian ringgits) RM 4,850 to RM 10,959 and >RM 10,960 were significantly associated with vaccine acceptance of COVID19 vaccination. Conclusion All the factors influencing COVID-19 vaccine acceptance rates throughout the country should be studied on a larger scale, and appropriate steps to ensure vaccine acceptance among the public should be meticulously devised by the government and related authorities.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To systematically appraise the existing published literature on cervical cancer screening utilization, and associated barriers and facilitators, in Nepal. STUDY DESIGN Systematic literature review and meta-analysis. METHODS PubMed/MEDLINE, CINAHL, Scopus, Embase, and, Google Scholar were systematically searched using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis guideline. All quantitative and qualitative studies reporting cervical cancer screening (using the Pap smear test or visual inspection with acetic acid or human papillomavirus test) utilization, barriers, and facilitators for screening were identified. A meta-analysis was performed to estimate Nepal's pooled cervical cancer screening utilization proportion. RESULTS The search yielded 97 records, of which 17 studies were included. Fifteen studies were quantitative and two were qualitative. Of the 17 studies, six were hospital-based and six were community-based. The pooled cervical cancer screening utilization proportion (using Pap smear test) among Nepalese women was 17% from the studies in the hospital settings, and 16% in the community. Six studies reported barriers to cervical cancer screening, of which four reported embarrassments related to the gynecological examination and a low level of knowledge on cervical cancer. Three (of four) studies reported health personnel, and two studies reported screening services-related facilitators for cervical cancer screening. CONCLUSION Our review reported that cervical cancer screening utilization (16%) is more than four times lower than the national target (70%) in Nepal. Multiple barriers such as low levels of knowledge and embarrassment are associated with cervical cancer screening utilization. Health personnel's gender, counseling, and privacy of screening services were commonly reported facilitators. These findings could help to inform future research, and policy efforts to increase cervical cancer screening utilization in Nepal.

Abstract
The standard model of particle physics1-4 describes the known fundamental particles and forces that make up our Universe, with the exception of gravity. One of the central features of the standard model is a field that permeates all of space and interacts with fundamental particles5-9. The quantum excitation of this field, known as the Higgs field, manifests itself as the Higgs boson, the only fundamental particle with no spin. In 2012, a particle with properties consistent with the Higgs boson of the standard model was observed by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN10,11. Since then, more than 30 times as many Higgs bosons have been recorded by the ATLAS experiment, enabling much more precise measurements and new tests of the theory. Here, on the basis of this larger dataset, we combine an unprecedented number of production and decay processes of the Higgs boson to scrutinize its interactions with elementary particles. Interactions with gluons, photons, and W and Z bosons-the carriers of the strong, electromagnetic and weak forces-are studied in detail. Interactions with three third-generation matter particles (bottom (b) and top (t) quarks, and tau leptons (τ)) are well measured and indications of interactions with a second-generation particle (muons, μ) are emerging. These tests reveal that the Higgs boson discovered ten years ago is remarkably consistent with the predictions of the theory and provide stringent constraints on many models of new phenomena beyond the standard model.

Abstract
Background Human resources are the mainstay of the healthcare system. Higher numbers of health workers have better healthcare coverage and outcomes. Availability of trained human resources to address the exponential rise in cardiovascular disease in Nepal is a national concern. Objective To assess the need of human resources for cardiovascular disease management in Nepal. Method We conducted an exploratory sequential mixed-method study. We developed a task force and organized a national workshop to engage stakeholders and collect feedback on the research process. We did a desk review and conducted 24 key informant interviews. We did thematic analysis from the codes generated. Result There is no clear definition and required estimation of health workers for cardiovascular disease management. There is a shortage of health workers with 8.9 doctors, 20.8 nurses, 0.05 cardiologist/cardiac surgeon, 4.2 pharmacist, 10.2 laboratory technicians per 10,000 population. There is a comprehensive human resource plan but it does not provide details of human resources for cardiovascular disease management. There is a lack of public private collaboration for human resource management. However, there is production of human resources for cardiovascular disease management through pre-service specialized courses and inservice training. Conclusion A clear definition and estimation of health workers with stringent human resource plan for cardiovascular disease management is essential. The government can still address these gaps by establishing a well-equipped central health workforce unit and expanding collaboration with private sectors.

Abstract
Background Medical Products and Technologies is a key component of the health system. Quality medicines and efficient management of the medical products can secure effective cardiovascular diseases management. Objective To collate information and identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) associated with medical products and technology component for cardiovascular disease management in Nepal. Method This study is a part of a larger rapid assessment of Nepal's health system for cardiovascular disease management and based on The Health System Assessment Approach: A How-To Manual (USAID). The authors conducted a desk review of documents related to the WHO "medical product and technology" building block component and key informant interviews using a pre-tested interview protocol. The first eight interviews were transcribed verbatim and analysed inductively to generate a codebook; and the remaining, transcribed and deductively coded based on the codebook. Findings were categorised into relevant topical area and SWOT components. Result Nepal has laws and provisions for medicine regulation, pharmacovigilance, post marketing surveillance, registration and licensing provisions for pharmacy industries/ outlets, essential medicine lists and national formulary. These provisions also apply to medicines used for cardiovascular diseases. The challenge however, is the lack of effective implementation and monitoring, due to shortages of technical workforce and state of art information and technologies. Information on pharmaceutical expenditures for cardiovascular disease management is scarce; there are no standard national level guidelines that are consistently used to manage cardiovascular diseases in health facilities. Conclusion There are limited provisions and information on medical products for cardiovascular disease management in Nepal, and a need to strengthen existing provisions for medicine regulations and surveillance.

Abstract
Background A health care delivery system is the organization of people, institutions, and resources designed to deliver health services. A comprehensive study to explore cardiovascular health service delivery in Nepal is lacking. Objective This study attempted to assess Nepal's health system gap on organization and delivery of cardiovascular disease prevention and management services. Method This mixed-method study used the six building blocks of the World Health Organization health system framework: organization; access; coverage, utilization and demand; equity; quality of services; and outcomes. We conducted the desk reviews of national and international documents, performed several key informant interviews, calculated the relevant indicators, and assessed the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of the cardiovascular health service delivery. Result We found that most of the cardiovascular services are concentrated in urban areas, and suffer from poor access, quality, utilization, and coverage in most of the areas resulting in poor health outcomes. Though the services have recently improved due to increased primary care interventions, there is scope for the development of competent human resources, advancement of technologies, development of national protocols, and improved monitoring and supervision. Improved disease system including the medical recording and reporting mechanism to incorporate and reflect the true burden of CVD in Nepal is lacking. Conclusion Despite having health facilities from grassroots to the central level, availability, access, and quality of cardiovascular health services are poor. Further improvement and equitable expansion of promotive, preventive, diagnostic, referral, and rehabilitative cardiovascular services are needed to ensure universal health coverage.

Abstract
Background Good governance and leadership are essential to improve healthy life expectancy particularly in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). This study aimed to epitomize the challenges and opportunities for leadership and good governance for the health system to address non-communicable diseases particularly cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in Nepal. Objective The objective of this study was to understand and document CVD programs and policy formulation processes and to identify the government capacity to engage stakeholders for planning and implementation purposes. Method A national-level task force was formed to coordinate and steer the overall need assessment process. A qualitative study design was adopted using "The Health System Assessment Approach". Eighteen indicators under six topical areas in leadership and governance in cardiovascular health were assessed using desk review and key informant interviews. Result Voice and accountability exist in planning for health from the local level. The government has shown a strong willingness and has a strategy to work together with the private and non-government sectors in health however, the coordination has not been effective. There are strong rules in place for regulatory quality, control of corruption, and maintaining financial transparency. The government frequently relies on evidence generated from large-scale surveys for health policy formulation and planning but research in cardiovascular health has been minimum. There is a scarcity of cardiovascular disease-specific protocols. Conclusion Despite plenty of opportunities, much homework is needed to improve leadership and governance in cardiovascular health in Nepal. The government needs to designate a workforce for specific programs to help monitor the enforcement of health sector regulations, allocate enough funding to encourage CVD research, and work towards developing CVD-specific guidelines, protocols, and capacity building. Abstract
Background Health financing is a major domain of health system building blocks. With the epidemiological transition and increasing trend of Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), it is crucial to assess the status of health financing to address the gap of prevention, control, and treatment of CVDs in Nepal. Objective This paper aims to assess the situation of healthcare financing on Cardiovascular diseases in Nepal. We framed three key functions of health system financing: (a) revenue collection, (b) pooling of resources, and (c) purchasing of services for this study. Method We used sequential explanatory mixed-method research design. We conducted desk reviews, analyzed secondary data on health financing followed by Key-Informant Interviews with five relevant policymakers and experts between February and September 2019. We obtained the Ethical clearance from the Nepal Health Research Council. Result Out of pocket (OOP) expenditure remains the highest source (52%) of total health care expenditure in Nepal, and two third of it is made for NCDs. Out of total current health expenditure on outpatient and inpatient services for fiscal year 2015/16, only 7% of total NCDs was spent on CVDs. Hypertension is the third-most utilized insurance service out of 36 CVD related services provided by the Health Insurance Board. The existing health related social service schemes covers the high costs associated with treatment, and streamlining these services including provider payment mechanisms with the health insurance program could open up opportunities to expand quality CVD services and make it accessible to the marginalized population. Conclusion Health Financing is the integral part of the health system. With the rising burden of cardiovascular diseases and its impact on impoverishment due to high OOP, integrated health care services, budget specification based on the evidence-based burden of disease such as CVD needs to be prioritized by the government.

Background Health information system is an integral component of a country's capacity to integrate, process, report, and use information in improving health services. Objective This study aims to assess the infrastructure and capacity of the national Health information system to address cardiovascular diseases in Nepal. Method We adopted the United States Agency for International Development manual "The Health System Assessment Approach: A How-To Manual", Version 2.0. Three topical areas: input, process and output, were identified. Stepwise approach for Health information system assessment was done. A desk review and key informant interview was performed. Audio recordings were transcribed in Nepali language and intercoder reliability was checked. Result The upgraded District Health Information Software 2.3 provides a comprehensive online data management solution. Sustainable funding to upgrade the system exists. Annual report provides performance of all the components of the health care delivery system. Data were reviewed quarterly. However, no dedicated section for cardiovascular diseases in the Health information system is present. Private health facilities are poorly represented. Strategic planning, management, and evaluation of the Health information system are lacking. Inadequacy of timeliness, completeness, and periodicity of the reporting still exist. Conclusion A separate section of cardiovascular diseases in the Health information system is required. Better reporting of private sectors and its inclusion in databases is of utmost importance. Adaptation in the recently introduced federal structure is key for development of Health information system in the country.

Abstract
Background The important morphological parameters of distal radius namely palmar tilt, radial inclination, radial height and ulnar variance are consequential in the evaluation and management of the distal radius fracture, distal radius plate design and kinesiology. Correction of these parameters in anatomical alignment is important to restore the normal biomechanics of the wrist joint. Objective To ascertain the distal radius parameters in the patients attending tertiary care hospital with regard to gender and age. Method The wrist radiographs (postero-anterior and lateral views) of 125 patients, from 16 to above 60 years of age were used to determine the four parameters of distal radius. The subjects were divided into gender and three different age groups (16-36 years, 37-57 years and > 57 years). Independent t-test and ANOVA test was used for statistical analysis with level of significance set at p ≤ 0.05. Result The mean palmar tilt was 15.69 ± 4.84° (p-value = 0.40). The mean radial inclination was 22.58 ± 2.82° (p-value = 0.88). The mean value of radial height was 10.31 ± 1.59 mm (p-value= 0.001). Positive ulnar variance were recorded in maximum of subjects (46.40%) and the least was neutral (16.80%). Conclusion The distal radius parameters of our population were similar to the Orthopedic Trauma Association standard reference value. And there was significant difference in radial height between males and females.

Introduction
Transperineal prostate (TP) biopsies have traditionally been performed under general anaesthesia using a grid plate, ultrasound probe and access cannula. This requires theatre heavy resources. Novel techniques and equipment allow TP biopsies to be performed under local anaesthetic (LA) and are well tolerated. However, this equipment tends to be single use and disposable.
Our urology department uses the re-usable BK Medical® needle guide and biplanar probe in the outpatient department (OPD). We present outcomes from patients who have undergone LA prostate biopsies using a re-usable system.
Method
Data was collected from 92 patients who had TP biopsies in the OPD from November 2020 – August 2021. Clinical parameters including MRI Prostate Imaging-Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS) score, prostate specific antigen (PSA) level, histopathological outcomes, re-biopsy and post-procedure complications were collated. Patient Reported Outcome Measures were collected prospectively.
Results
Median (range) PSA level was 7 (2.28–59.3)ng/mL. Mean prostate core samples taken were 24(17–40). All procedures were successfully completed under LA. 93% of patients reported a pain score of 3 or less on the visual analogue scale. 93% of patients would recommend this method of biopsy. 44/92(47.8%) had clinically significant prostate cancer (Gleason ≥3+4). Two patients required repeat biopsies, one was benign, the other clinically significant prostate cancer.
Conclusions
TP biopsies with the re-usable BK Medical® needle probe are effective, safe and well tolerated with an overall one-off cost of £1400 per grid versus £200 per single use kit, and an environmental advantage by being re-useable thereby contributing to NHS sustainability goals.

Abstract
Background Second trimester abortions account for a small percentage of abortions globally. Abortion is one of the safest medical procedures. Accessibility of safe and high quality second-trimester abortion care can decrease severe complications associated with it. Objective The profile of women undergoing second-trimester abortion was assessed during the study. The profile includes demographic and clinical aspects. The study also aims to find out the rate of surgical and medical methods of abortion and to understand its indications. Method It is a study based on retrospective data collected from charts available at the comprehensive abortion care center at the Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital. The data from Shrawan to Magh 2077 B.S. was collected and calculations were done on MS Excel. Result Higher proportion of women receiving second-trimester abortion were of the age between 21-25 years (n=31; 31%). Most women were literate (n=69; 69%) and n=38(38%) were nulliparous. The most common indication for abortion was maternal mental issues (n=32; 32%). The rate of medical abortion was higher (n=71; 71%) than surgical method of abortion (n=29; 29%). Conclusion There exists both demographic and clinical variations in women undergoing secondtrimester abortion. Though few women undergo second trimester abortion than first-trimester the variation in profile is significant with most women referring to second trimester abortion due to later diagnosis of pregnancy, women facing financial and logistic barriers to health care, victims of violence and women with pregnancy complications or fetal anomalies.

Background Cerebral neurocysticerosis is a common parasitic disease of human nervous system but evidence on duration of albendazole therapy and their outcomes in this condition is inadequate Objective To evaluate the impact of varying duration of albendazole therapy on the clinical and radiological outcomes at one month in patients with active solitary neurocysticercosis. Method This is an interventional study conducted at Upendra Devkota Memorial National Institute of Neurological and Allied sciences, Bansbari over 1 year (2017 March - 2018 February). One hundred eighteen patients with new onset seizure secondary to active solitary cysticercal granuloma either received albendazole therapy for 1, 3, 9 or 21 days with the usual care or only received the usual care. Clinical and radiological outcomes were observed at one month follow-up. The difference in the proportion of the outcome measures between intervention and control groups were assessed using chi-square test. Result Our study included 118 patients with male predominance of 61.9%. Albendazole therapy for 3, 9 and 21 days reduced headache by 57.2%, 70.0% and 63.1% respectively which was higher than those with 1-day therapy or without the therapy. This difference in the proportion was statistically significant at p=0.001. Though seizure recurrence also declined but the difference was not significant (p=0.406) between groups. However, at one-month follow-up, majority of patients who received albendazole for 9 days (14, 70%) and 21 days (14, 73.7%) had normal lesion, while most calcified lesion (21, 67.7%) was observed in those who did not receive albendazole therapy. The difference between lesion among the groups was significant (p < 0.001). Conclusion Albendazole therapy in patients with active solitary neurocysticercosis for 9 days is as effective as 21 days and better than 3 days in headache control and lesion dissolution but seizure control could be achieved irrespective of the treatment.

Abstract
A search for lepton-flavor-violating Z→eτ and Z→μτ decays with pp collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. This analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of Run 2 pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and is combined with the results of a similar ATLAS search in the final state in which the τ lepton decays hadronically, using the same data set as well as Run 1 data. The addition of leptonically decaying τ leptons significantly improves the sensitivity reach for Z→ℓτ decays. The Z→ℓτ branching fractions are constrained in this analysis to B(Z→eτ)<7.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<7.2×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level. The combination with the previously published analyses sets the strongest constraints to date: B(Z→eτ)<5.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<6.5×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level.
