Abstract
AbstractIatrogenic arterial injury is a life-threatening complication of central venous catheterization. We report a rare case of percutaneous ultrasound-guided occlusion of inferior thyroid artery pseudoaneurysm that developed after attempted internal jugular vein cannulation in a cirrhotic patient.

Abstract
Abstract
Objectives Renal pseudoaneurysms are multifactorial in origin, and angioembolization remains the mainstay of treatment. Few case reports have also described percutaneous embolization using glue or thrombin. Our study aimed to evaluate the predictors of active bleed by analyzing their etiology, morphology, imaging features, and treatment adopted. To the best of our knowledge, this is the largest such study done in India.
Methods This was a retrospective study of patients treated for renal pseudoaneurysms between 2014 and 2019. We reviewed their clinical data, treatment modalities used, and clinical outcomes. We also assessed computed tomography angiography (CTA) and conventional angiography images.
Results A total of 79 patients (54 males and 25 females) were included in the study. The mean age was 39.5 years (range 15–83 years). The most common cause was renal biopsy, followed by surgery. Of these, three patients (3.9%) had more than one lesion and 57% of pseudoaneurysms were seen in lower polar arteries. Active contrast extravasation was seen in 15.2% (n = 12) of the patients and 21.5% (n = 17) showed lobulations in CT and digital substraction angiography. The mean size of the pseudoaneurysms was 1.17 cm (SD 0.7); 22.8% of pseudoaneurysms were wide necked. The embolization was approached by endovascular (89.9%), percutaneous (10.1%), or both (1.3%) routes. Embolization was performed using microcoils (78.5%), gel foam (12.7%), N-butyl cyanoacrylate glue (8.9%), polyvinyl alcohol (8.9%), and thrombin (5.1%) either as a single agent or in combination. The technical success was achieved in all cases after the first procedure. Pseudoaneurysms with a wide neck (p = 0.03) and lobulations (p = 0.002) were associated with active contrast extravasation. Episodes of rebleeding were seen at a younger age (p-value = 0.02).
Conclusion Minimally invasive methods remain the cornerstone in the management of renal pseudoaneurysms with high success rates. The morphology of pseudoaneurysms can help predict the risk of active bleeding and decide the type of intervention. Direct percutaneous injection into the aneurysm sac is an alternate technique and should be considered when an endovascular approach is challenging.

Abstract
We report the case of a 44-year-old male patient with bicuspid aortic valve, presenting with hemoptysis. Catheter angiography revealed an abnormal communication between bronchial and pulmonary artery, which remained undetected on computed tomography angiography. Angioembolization was done using polyvinyl alcohol and gelfoam particles. This is the first case in literature describing bronchial arteriovenous malformation associated with bicuspid aortic valve.

Abstract
Pulmonary arteriovenous malformations (PAVMs) are abnormal connections between pulmonary artery and vein through a thin-walled aneurysmal sac, leading to a right-to-left shunt. These are commonly associated with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, and treatment guidelines have been set on how to approach their management. Incorrect proximal placement of an embolization device can lead to delayed recruitment of systemic collaterals leading to presentation with hemoptysis. We are presenting a case of a 17-year-old male with treated PAVMs and with fresh hemoptysis. In this case report, we attempt to explain the management of such a complication and follow the principles of arteriovenous malformation embolization on the left side.

Abstract
Objective To describe the spectrum of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in
patients with neurological manifestations of dengue. Materials and Methods We included nine patients with dengue fever (three females and six males; age
range, 9–30 years), all of whom presented with neurological manifestations.
The MRI examinations, performed in 1.5 T or 3 T scanners, included
T1-weighted, T2-weighted, and fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR)
sequences. Diffusion-weighted imaging with apparent diffusion coefficient
mapping was also employed. Fast low-angle shot and susceptibility-weighted
gradient-recalled echo sequences, as well as contrast-enhanced T1-weighted
scans, were also obtained in order to assess parenchymal enhancement. MRI
scans were analyzed for lesion distribution and imaging features. Results All patients showed areas of altered signal intensity that appeared as
hyperintensity on T2-weighted and FLAIR sequences. The most commonly
affected site was the basal ganglia-thalamus complex. Other affected sites
were the cerebellum, cerebral cortex, white matter, and brainstem. In all
cases, we observed patchy areas of restricted diffusion and focal areas of
hemorrhage. Conclusion Dengue encephalitis commonly affects the basal ganglia, thalamus, cerebellum,
cerebral cortex, and white matter. Therefore, MRI should be an indispensable
part of the evaluation of patients with neurological complications of dengue
fever.

Abstract
We present a case of a 13-year-old boy with clinical features of Goldenhar syndrome (hemifacial microsomia with malformed ears) and associated contralateral pulmonary aplasia. The patient did not have any associated respiratory symptoms. Pulmonary aplasia is an uncommon association of Goldenhar Syndrome. A case of contralateral pulmonary aplasia has been rarely reported in the literature to the best of our knowledge.

Abstract
The tracheobronchial tree is a musculo-cartilagenous framework which acts as a conduit to aerate the lungs and consequently the entire body. A large spectrum of pathological conditions can involve the trachea and bronchial airways. These may be congenital anomalies, infections, post-intubation airway injuries, foreign body aspiration or neoplasms involving the airway. Appropriate management of airway disease requires an early and accurate diagnosis. In this pictorial essay review, we will comprehensively describe the various airway pathologies and their imaging findings by multi-detector computed tomography.

Abstract
Aneurysm of sinus of Valsalva is a rare cardiac abnormality. Unruptured aneurysm of sinus of Valsalva is usually asymptomatic and often discovered incidentally. However, a large aneurysm can, in rare cases, cause compression of the ventricular outflow tract. We report a case of 17-year-old male with congestive right heart failure with a large, partially thrombosed unruptured aneurysm of the right sinus of Valsalva. The aneurysmal sac was compressing the right ventricular outflow tract causing marked dilatation of the right ventricle and atrium that was confirmed on contrast-enhanced computed tomography imaging. Unruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm causing right heart failure in adolescence has been rarely reported in literature.
