Abstract
Pathogenic bacteria are associated with high morbidity rates and present significant diagnostic challenges in terms of rapid detection. This study introduces a magnetic separation-based electrochemical biosensor for the detection of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Vancomycin (Van) was used to modify on the surface of polyethyleneimine (PEI) mediated MBs (MBs-PEI-Van) for separation and enrichment of MRSA. The MBs-PEI-Van shown a satisfactory stability and applicability with capture effective (CE) > 85% in both PBS and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples. MXene@Au with controllable size of AuNPs was synthesized by a self-reduction method and employed to modify the glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Immunoglobulin G (IgG) was loaded onto the modified electrode to immobilize MRSA, and ferroceneboronic acid (Fc-BA) was used as a probe for quantitative determination. The differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) current was plotted against the concentration of MRSA from 3.8 × 101 to 3.8 × 107 CFU/mL with a limit of detection (LOD) of 3.8 × 101 CFU/mL. In addition, MRSA was successfully detected in spiked CSF samples with satisfactory recoveries (94.35-107.81 %) and validation results (RSD < 11 %). Overall, this study presents a promising method for the detection of MRSA, with the potential to be further developed into a universal pathogen detection method.

Abstract
MXene@Au as the base and Au@SiO2 as signal amplification factor were used for constructing an ultrasensitive "on-off" electrochemiluminescence (ECL) biosensor for the detection of Pb2+ in water. The use of MXene@Au composite provided a good interface environment for the loading of tris(2,2-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)32+) on the electrode. Based on resonance energy transfer, the Au (core) SiO2 (shell) (Au@SiO2) nanoparticles stimulate electron transport and promote tripropylamine (TPrA) oxidation. The luminescence effect of Au@SiO2 was five times that of AuNPs and SiO2 nanomaterials alone, and the ECL intensity was greatly improved. In addition, Pb2+ activated the aptamer to exert its endonuclease activity, which realized the signal cycle amplification in the process of Pb2+ detection. When Pb2+ was added, the ECL signal weakened, and the Pb2+ concentration was detected according to the decreased ECL intensity. Under optimized experimental conditions, this aptamer sensor for Pb2+ has a wide detection range (0.1 to 1 × 106 ng L-1) and a low detection limit (0.059 ng L-1). The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the sensor is 0.39-0.99%, and the recovery of spiked standard is between 90.00 and 125.70%. The sensor shows good selectivity and high sensitivity in actual water sample analysis. This signal amplification strategy possibly provides a new method for the detection of other heavy metal ions and small molecules.

Abstract
Trimethylamine (TMA) is one of the important chemical indexes to judge the freshness of marine fish. It is necessary to develop a low temperature TMA sensor to help the monitoring and prediction of the quality of marine fish in cold chain. Herein, a flexible low temperature TMA gas sensor featuring antifreezing and superior mechanical properties was developed based on the Au nanoparticle-modified MXene (MXene@Au) composite. MXene@Au was synthesized and then polymerized with a hydrogel composed of acrylamide (AM), N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide (BIS), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), and EG, and the resultant MXene@Au hydrogel was found to exhibit excellent antifreezing performance even at extremely low temperature as well as high tensile strength, ultrastretchability, and toughness, which enabled an efficient gas sensing platform for TMA detection at low temperature. The TMA sensing properties of the flexible MXene@Au DN hydrogel sensor at 25 °C and a low temperature of 0 °C were studied, and a linear relationship between TMA sensitivity and concentration was built. The excellent sensing properties were maintained even under deformation. The application of the MXene@Au DN hydrogel sensor in detection of fish freshness at 0 °C was investigated. The result indicated the potential application of the flexible MXene@Au DN hydrogel gas sensor in dynamic quality monitoring and prediction of marine fish products during its transportation and storage in the cold chain.
