Abstract
We report a retrospective study of 15 cases of pyoderma gangrenosum. The male/female ratio was 2, average age 40 years (range: 2-48 years). The typical ulcerous form was observed in 11 patients, whereas bullous pyodrma gangrenosum was noted in 2 patients and the granulomatous superficial form in 2 others. The leg was the most frequent localization. It was often associated with another skin localization. Two patients had neutrophilic pulmonary involvement which was concomitant to the skin ulcers. Association with internal disease was found in 8 patients. Histology showed vasculitis in 11 patients. In 9 of them, leukocytoclastic vasculitis was observed. Prednisone and clofazimine were the most frequently prescribed drugs. Th rate of recurrence of pyoderma gangrenosum was 46% independently of treatment. Occurrence of neutrophilic pneumopathy was rapidly fatal in two of our patients

Abstract
UNLABELLED Traumatic and non-traumatic rhabdomyolysis have been mostly reported in adults. Polymyositis rarely leads to rhabdomyolysis. CASE REPORT We report the case of a 13-year-old girl with rhabdomyolysis. Full recovery was observed after symptomatic treatment. Nine months later she developed polymyositis. CONCLUSION Long-term follow-up is necessary for rhabdomyolysis, even in those cases with an isolated occurrence caused by viral infection.

Abstract
The authors report a case of mesenteric tuberculous lymphadenitis which mimic a pancreatic cystadenoma. They emphasize ultrasound and CT scan features which lead to the recognition of tuberculosis and permit a percutaneous fine needle biopsy. Laparotomy seems the most reliable method for a positive diagnosis. The place of different imaging methods is discussed.

Abstract
This study refers to 23 patients presenting with the sporadic forms of cutaneous leishmaniasis encountered in northern most humid parts of Tunisia. Culture inoculation for parasitic isolation was processed using two media: the classical NNN and a rabbit serum based medium (SLC). Cultures were positive in 17 cases with SLC medium and 13 cases with NNN medium. Eight isolates were typed using 15 isoenzymes systems. Six isolates were identified as Leishmania infantum MON-24 which confirms the crucial role of this zymodeme in causing this form of cutaneous leishmaniasis. The other two isolates were identified as Leishmania infantum MON-1, which is the principal agent of visceral leishmaniasis in the Mediterranean area.

Abstract
Sjögren's syndrome is characterized by an increased risk of developing non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The lymphoma is most frequently extra-nodal, preferentially affecting the salivary gland: low-grade MALT lymphoma. Conversely, underlying Sjögren's syndrome has been recently identified by some authors in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. In the present report, we present three cases of Sjögren's syndrome disclosed by low-grade salivary gland MALT lymphoma. The patients were all women aged 33, 38 and 52 years. Extension work-up revealed nodal and bone marrow involvement in one case and no evidence of disseminated disease in the two others. Using the European criteria, all of our patients had certain Sjögren's syndrome. Labial salivary gland biopsy and immunopathological studies in newly diagnosed low-grade MALT lymphoma would be helpful in identifying the real frequency of this association.

Abstract
A 71-year-old woman consulted for a tumor of the right submandibular gland that had been present for 4 years and had rapidly increased in size during the last two months. Histological examination of frozen sections and immunohistochemistry concluded to a poor differentiated sarcoma probably a neurosarcoma with residual pleomorphic adenoma component. In spite of wide resection, local recurrences with nodes and lung metastases occurred leading to the death of the patient. We think interesting to report this unusual salivary tumor and to discuss its pathological features.

Abstract
Resistance to Leishmania parasite infection requires the development of a cellular immune response that activates macrophage leishmanicidal activity. In this study we have investigated the lymphoproliferative responses and in vitro cytokine production of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from individuals living in an endemic area for L. major infection in Tunisia. The results were compared with the DTH reaction of the leishmanin skin test (LST). Sixty-seven individuals were included in the study: 22 persons (age range 9-60 years) who developed, 2 years before the present study, a parasitologically confirmed localized cutaneous leishmaniasis (LCL) that healed spontaneously, and 45 individuals (age range 18-20 years) born and living in the same area, with no previous history of LCL. LST was positive (skin induration > or = 5 mm) in 20/22 cured cases of LCL and in 75% of healthy individuals without history of LCL. LST+ individuals expressed vigorous Leishmania-specific lymphoproliferative responses associated with in vitro production of interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) but not IL-4. Interestingly, IL-10 was detected in parallel with the highest levels of IFN-gamma in PBMC supernatants from 3/20 cured LCL and 8/25 individuals without history of LCL. Our results showed a 98% concordance between the DTH reaction assessed by LST and the in vitro proliferative assay induced by soluble leishmanial antigens. Moreover, proliferative assays as well as cytokine analysis did not show any significant difference of the immune memory to parasite antigens developed by patients who had overt cutaneous leishmaniasis and those who had apparently asymptomatic infection.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Vulvar involvement in Crohn's disease is uncommon. The elementary lesion is usually an ulceration: 44 cases have been reported in the literature. In 20 p. 100 of the cases, vulvar involvement is the only manifestation of the disease. We report 3 new cases of vulvar lesions in Crohn's disease. CASE REPORTS The first case had vulvar lesions which complicated ileocolic Crohn's disease, in the other two cases there were no digestive manifestations. One patient developed voluminous edema of the right labium. The diagnosis of Crohn's disease of the vulva was suggested by the characteristic lesions, presence of epithelioid and giant cell granuloma at histology examination of the vulva specimen and finally on rapidly favorable course after treatment with sulfasalazine. The ulcers regressed with medical treatment but remission was temporary with recurrence at treatment withdrawal. DISCUSSION These cases underline the difficulties encountered in establishing the diagnosis of Crohn's disease in patients who develop vulvar ulcerations alone with no signs of digestive disease and emphasize the difficult problem of long-term control.

Abstract
Cervical thymic cyst is an uncommon lesion. It is usually diagnosed after cervicotomy for lateral swelling of the neck. We present a case in a 12-year-old boy. Clinical diagnosis was cystic hygroma, but computed tomography revealed extension of the cyst to the anterior mediastinum, suggesting its thymic origin. Successful excision was performed through a neck incision alone. There has been no recurrence of the cyst nor immune deficiency within a 2-year follow-up. Pathogenesis and diagnostic modalities are discussed.

Abstract
We report the case of a 58-year-old man with a chronic papular eruption of 10 years' duration. Histopathology revealed focal acantholytic dyskeratosis. This condition is thought to represent a distinct entity which has been reported under several names and frequently referred to as persistent acantholytic dermatosis. The relationship between this condition and transient acantholytic dermatosis (Grover's disease), emphasizing sex-related presentations, is discussed.

Abstract
A case of primary hepatic leiomyosarcoma is documented with the use of intermediate filament and actin isoform antibodies. The majority of the tumour cells were positive with alpha smooth muscle actin antibody and about 20% with anti-desmin antibody indicating their smooth muscle nature. A review of the literature revealed 16 previously documented cases.
